2 INTRODUCTION This report contains the resuts of a magnetic survey, by Newmont Mining Corporation of Canada Limited during June 974. LOCATION The area covered by this report consists of contiguous caims isted on the attached Technica Data Statement. Access to the property is by chartered heicopter avaiabe from Timmins approximatey 20 mies to the southeast of the property or by boat down the Mattagami River. Winter access is possibe up a power ine road. GENERAL GEOLOGY The rocks in the area are Keewatin-type vocanics and utra mafic rocks (O.D.M. Preiminary Map P700). No outcrops are indicated on the above map nor have ever been found in the ground. No dri hoes are known to exist on the property. FIELD PROCEDURE The nqrtheast-southwest^grj.d,was cut and controed by.two jsoutheast-northwest base ines. The JLine spacing of; 300 ft. was used with a station interva of 00 ft. A base station was estabished at 54B/40N. The base ine (40N) was surveyed using a eap frog method^ and a ines were then tied to this base ine. A vaues were then adjusted with reference to the base station vaue. EQUIPMENT USED The magnetic survey conducted with the jscintrex MFD 2 Vertica Fuxgate Magnetometer^ which reads directy in gammas. PRESENTATION OF RESULTS The magnetic contour map is incuded with this report. In addition to the contours, the ocation and magnetic vaues of each station are reported.

3 Page 2 INTERPRETATION The interpretation is presented on the contour map. Two northery trending diabase dykes are indicated. The easternmost dyke appears to be offset by a right-hand strike - sip faut. No indications of mineraized zones are apparent. CONCLUSION; The caim group appears to be devoid of magnetic type mineraization other than two north south trending diabase dykes. S E. J. BALLANTYNE S
