1 LATOLIR LAKE VLF SURVEY 31M05SE LORRAIN 010 The EM-16 survey program on the Latour Lake Property located in Lorrain Township, District of Temiskaming, Sudbury Mining Division has been extended to the north to include mining claim A north-south grid with lines ^00' apart was laid out and readings taken at stations 50' apart. As noted on the attached plan, the Hydro transmission line that cut across the corner of claim , precluded readings on the first 2 stations of line 1-west. Flooding by beavers made the last reading at virtually impossible at this date. All readings were taken using the VLF transmitter from Seattle, Washington. Line 1-west was re-read on October 25th using the transmitter from Cutler, Maine for verification of narrow near surface structures or anomalies at A+OON, 6+OON and 9+50N, as well as the major fault at 11+50N. A total of 56 readings were completed of the 72 tentative stations laid out on paper. Completion of the remaining Tt stations (2 lost to transmission lines) is planned for mid-winter when ice conditions permit easy access.
