REPORT ON GEOPHYSICAL WORK JAMIESON TOWNSHIP N.T.S.: 42-A-12 Introduction Geophysical surveys consisting of proton precession magnetometer and dip angle V.L.F. electromagnetic traverses were conducted over a claim in Jamieson Township. This claim is located in Concession I, Lot 10 and lies 21 kilometres from Timmins along Highway 576. Survey Details A grid was cut on the claim so as to maximize the geophysical coverage which was limited by the presence of a large pond in the middle of the property. Stations were established every 20 metres with magnetic and electromagnetic values recorded at 20 metre intervals, 10 metres over anomalous areas. Survey Results The magnetometer survey located a moderately strong magnetic trend running roughly north south through the middle of the claim. It is felt that this anomaly is yet another expres sion of the prominent north south trending diabase dikes predominant in the Kamiskotia area. The V.L.F. electromagnetic survey gave only a weak response coincident to the edge of the magnetic anomaly, and thus is probably an expression of the contact between the diabase and the surrounding volcanics. The erratic response in the north east

3 corner of the claim is due to the hydro line just off the property, Conclusions and Recommendations The only major anomaly in the claim is the north south trending magnetic dike. If any future geophysical surveys are attempted, in order to look for deeper conductors, it is recommended they be done in the winter so as to facilitate a more complete coverage. MWZ/mg MJW.
