3 4 This report describes the results of EM-VLF and magnetic surveys completed over a single unpatented mining claim in Lebel Township on its common boundary with Teck Township. The claim L-5287 is presently recorded in the name of F, T. O'connor of Kirkland Lake. Linecutting, EM-VLF and magnetic coverage were completed during the October 29- November 5, 1984 period over 4-foot line spacings and 1- foot station intervals. The claims are located 2 miles north of the town of Kirkland Lake, astride the Goodfish Lake-Airport road. This paved road crosses the northwestern corner of claim L Archean mafic flows, pyroclastics, metasediments and sericite schists underlie the property. The latter unit is known to contain ouartz-carbonate-pyrite-chalcopyritemol.ybdenite-tell.urides-free gold mineralization related to northeast trending shear zones. The rock units trend 2 to 7 and dip steeply. Younger Archean cfuartz-feldspar porphyries also intrude these rock units. This geophysical program is an attempt to delineate rock contacts and structural features. fe CONSTABlf CONSULTING INC.

4 PROPERTY.DESCRIPTION, LOCATION AND ACCESS The subject property consists of one (1) unpatented mining claim located in Lebel township on its common boundary with Teck township. The claim,l-5287, is presently in good standing and is recorded in the name of F. T. O'connor. The claim covers roughly 4 acres and is due for assessment work by December, The Goodfish Lake-Airport road crosses the north western corner of the claim and provides access. PPIYSIOGRAPHY The claim has moderate local relief and covers topography ranging from fifty-foot cliffs to swamp. This is characteristic of this area. Outcrop coverage is from S-1% and swamps cover 4^, of the area interrupted by northeasttrending outcrop ridges. Trees are immature, consisting of scrub brush and grasses over the swamps to jackpine, poplars, spruce and alders along the ridges. Overburden is silty loam and clay, depths vary from nil to 6 feet. 5 4 PAST AND PRESENT. EXPLORATION PROGRAMS Several companies and individuals have explored this claim and its environs; including Kirana Gold Mines Limited, E.G. Deloye, Haas-Warner Mining Ltd. and F. T. O'connor As evidenced by numerous overgrown trenches, several other interests in the 192 's and 1.9 's prospected the area but no records exist for this work. Recorded work consisted primarily of trenching, shaft sinking and underground development and diamond drilling. Nothing specific is known about the subject claim. The present program consists of two separate EM-VLF surveys reading Cutler, Maine and Annapolis, Maryland transmitter stations separately. In addition, a magnetic survey was completed. The magnetic survey was intended to delineate rock types and possible structural features while the EM-VLF surveys were intended to detect mineralization or structural features. A grid was cut over the entire claim with a base line established along the road at 62 (true) and picket lines at 152 O (true). The baseline was run by compass, cut out and chained at 1-foot intervals. Every 4 feet a picket lino wcis turned off and picket lines cut out on a compass line (5 CONSTABLE CONSULTING INC:

6 4 and pickets chained every 1 feet. The total grid is roughly 65 feet, long and was cut by T. Obradovich, Kirkland Lake. E Mr VLF^S u rv ej^s The surveys were run with a Geonics EM-16 instrument and the operator was T. Obradovich. The EM-16 is a one-man instrument which measures the vertical distortion (in degrees or percentage) of a primary electrical field caused by the proximity to the source of a secondary electrical field. This source may be graphite, clay, sulfides or water-filled shears. During this survey we read both the in phase and quadrature readings in degrees. Readings were taken at 1-foot intervals and the first survey read the Cutler, Maine station while the second survey read the Annapolis, Maryland station. The readings were plotted separately on the enclosed maps and profiled. Conductor axes were also indicated. A Sharpe MF-1 fluxgate magnetometer was employed during this survey and the operator was T. Obradovich. The MF-1 f luxgate magnetometer is a one-man instrument which measures the vertical component of the earth's magnetic field. 7 4 operator must face magnetic north during operation. Readings were taken at 1-foot intervals and corrected for diurnal variations to within 2 gammas. Since the data was collected in one day there was no need for day to day corrections. The results were plotted on the enclosed maps and contoured at 2 gamma contour intervals. Note: The results must have 1 gammas added to the results, thus 12 is actually 112. INTERPRETATION AND RECOMMENDATIONS The magnetic survey showed that the claim has very little magnetic relief ( < gammas). The VLF surveys showed one moderate to weak conductor on the east central portion of the claim (lines 8 and E) and a single line conductor near the baseline on line 8 -f E. fe CONSTABLE CONSULTING INC

8 I recommend that a geology-prospecting program be completed over the claims primarily to search for carbonate alteration, sericite schist, quartz veins and mineralization.
