2 SUMMARY This report is a geophysical survey as required by the Ministry of Northern Development and Mines for assessment work purposes. The report includes an introduction to the property, general geology, field observations, conclusions and recommendations based on the field survey. Field data and a map are included in the back of this report, INTRODUCTION The claim group consists of two unpatented contiguous mining claims described as Northeast \ S outh ^ L ot 12 concession two, Southeast k S outh ^ L ot 12 concession two or claims L and L respectively. Access is gained via highway #572, ^ mile east of the town of Holtyre. The claims are owned by the author of this report. The survey was conducted by Tom Obradovich on an east-west orientated grid established by compassing chaining and marking stations every 50 feet with lines established every 400 feet. James Forbes assisted in establishing the grid. GENERAL GEOLOGY The O.D.M. sixtieth annual report Vol. LX Part IX, 1951 by V.K. Prest "Geology of Guibord Township" indicates the geology underlying the drift covered township in the area of this

3 report consists of acidic volcanics striking northwest in contact with intermediate to basic volcanics. Drilling on the property by South Porcupine Mining Syndicate throughout the 1940 's reveals coarse and fine fragmentals within the acidic horizon. The zone was thought to be similar to that of the Ross Mine south zone which lies approximately 2000 feet northwest of this claim group. DISCUSSION OF RESULTS VLF-EM SURVEY The field data is presented on a map at a horizontal scale of l inch to 200 feet. The VLF-EM data is illustrated as profiled data along the survey lines and is plotted at a vertical scale of one inch s 10" with the negative and in-phase at the bottom and positive and quadrature on the top. A crossover was noted to trend north-northwest through the upper central part of the property. It is suspect this may express the existance of a fault or contact zone. Overburden is thick and a followup deep penetrating EM survey is recommended to correlate with the results of this survey. RECOMMENDATIONS It is recommended that detailed followup geophysical surveys with cross-section diamond drilling be undertaken on the property.
