2 -1-1. SUMMARY AND DATES - EXPLORATION WORK COMPLETED This report describes the results of geological mapping and outcrop evaluation for Flagstone Potential, in Ryerson Township, Southern Ontario. The geological mapping was completed close to the northern boundary of claim This claim occupies the S 1/2 of Con. XI, Lot 16, of the township, and is held by the writer, Ralph V. Stewart, who resides at 244 Keewatin St. S., Oshawa, Ontario, LI H 6Z8. Geological mapping was completed by the writer on October 30, 1998, along a flagged traverse line, as shown on the accompanying GEOLOGICAL PLAN, Dwg. S The mapping was completed to evaluate the area for flagstone potential. In summary, a higher "outcrop area" located in the northeast corner of the claim has potential for producing flagstone. This area has a very light covering of soil, with straight flagstone type boulders showing above the soil cover. Outcrops of flagstone are sparse, but "line up" in an east-west strike direction in the two areas shown on the accompanying drawing. 2.0 PROPERTY LOCATION AND ACCESS The property (mining claim) is located in Ryerson Township (S 1/2 Lot 16, Con. XI). Access to the property is as follows: Take Highway 11 north of Huntsville to Burks Falls. At this community take highway 520 west for approximately 4 KM, where a secondary road extends westward for another 4.3 KM. At this point another road turns north to Goose Lake, and the work area. A summary of the property location is as follows: Mining NTS Township Division Sheet Latitude Longitude Ryerson S.Ontario 3 IE/11 A E/ EXPLORATION HISTORY AND DESCRIPTION OF PAST WORK In 1996, the writer discovered flagstone within the S1/2 of lot 16, Con XI, while prospecting under a 1996 OPAP grant (file OP96-162). Other than this there is no report of past exploration or mining within the boundary of this claim.

3 FIELD DESCRIPTION (ROCK TYPES) Symbol Rock Type Rock Description 40 Granitic Pegmatite Medium to coarse grained, pink colored pegmatite dyke rock. 37 Diabase dyke Black colored, fine to medium grained (fractured). 36A Quartzitic gneiss/schist Dark gray colored gneiss, with minor interlayered hornblende and pink feldspar. This rock has been sheared, and the pink feldspar and black hornblende is "smeared " along gneissic planes. In places zones of this rock have flagstone structure, and are designated "Flagstone Rock". 36 Quartzitic gneiss Similar to the above rock composition, but without the strong shearing and "flagstone structure". Rock types 36A & 36 have obviously been affected by moderate folding as evidenced by the variation of lineation directions shown on the accompanying geological plan. Government map 2544 shows an interpreted area fault, immediately north of this claim. It is probable that this fault and fault "offsets", were main contributors to the formation of flagstone on the property.
