3 Work Report 2001 (Marion Claim Block) Prospecting and Trenching Access to the property can be reached by highway 101, west of Timmins or the Sultan Road from highway 144^ till you reach the Foleyet Timber Road, Traveling on the Foleyet Timber Road to mileage marker 47, turn east on a side road for 7 km to the edge of the forestry clear cut. We take a ATV for 2.3 km to the Women River^ then boat downstream for 3.8 km^ from there we walk in 1000 meters to the trenches. In August^ 20 units were stake to cover the granite plug. The granite is coarse grain from a white to pink in color^ and containing anywhere form 1 - l O 07o cubic pyrite. Some areas had a rusty appearance^ possibly a carbonate. Prospecting was carried out during August on claim Mostly assayed old trenches in the granite and surrounding rock. Seven assays were taken (see assay sheet dated Aug ) a description of the rock types will be on page 14. Location of assays on page 6.
