3 INTRODUCTION 1367 Paquette Street, Sudbury, Ontario, Canada P3A 5R4 Telephone : (705) Fax: (705) (the Company) was established to develop the industrial mineral resources of Northern Ontario, and intends to progress a project to quarry and market high quality diabase aggregates for the expanding construction market around the Great Lakes. This report documents the work completed on claims staked to the north of Lake Huron. Included in this report is a daily log describing in detail the nature and content of the work and the location of diabase and non-diabase rocks (granite or gneiss) observed during the performance of the work. Samples of rocks were collected during the completion of this prospecting work. These samples were used to establish the lithology (geology) of the rocks from specific locations, and to check for sulphide (copper and or nickel) content. Assaying or further analysis was not required on these samples and therefore was not performed. AREA OF ASSESSMENT WORK The assessment work contained in this report was performed on claims numbered and , in the Township of Long (G-3297). The location of these claims are shown in Figure 1 General Location Map. This figure shows the claims in relation to identifiable topographic features and township boundaries or in relation to established survey lines, stations or markers where applicable. Detailed maps at 1 :5,000 scale are also presented. Access to these claims was obtained by car, and by foot. The terrain consisted of bare rock outcrop with no soil or very thin soil (Rns), or swamp (Sw). The area was forested either by deciduous (Fd), a mixture of deciduous and evergreen (Fm) or by dense evergreen forest (Fe). TIME FRAME OF ASSESSMENT WORK The assessment work contained in this report was performed from May 20 to May 24, Darien Resources

Morrison (Sudbury), K. Beauchamp (Sudbury), C. Graham (Sudbury), W. Pitman (Mississauga), C. Steed (Mississauga) and G. Ley (Mississauga). The maps for the activities for this period are presented as Figures 2, 3 and 4 which are maps at the 1 :5,000 scale. Day 1 - Friday May 21, 2004 All six of the team trecked into the bush along the hydro lines to the east of the claims and cut west to establish a based at the southeast corner of Claim on the top of the flat plateau. o Morrison and G. Ley marked claim boundaries north from the No.2 post towards west end of Long Lake. There was exposed outcrop and the forest was mixed deciduous and evergreen and was fairly open so progress was steady. They followed the claim line north to the southern edge of the lake and then followed the edge of the lake around to the north-east end of the lake, mapping the granite outcrop (G) until they encountered the southern contact of the diabase (0) out-crop at the west end of the lake. They continued to follow the lake edge until they identified the northern edge of the diabase-granite contact. Beauchamp and Graham continued prospected and tagging the eastern claim boundary north towards the lake and started line cutting. Steed and Pitman tagged the claim boundary and performed line cutting working westward, across the nat plateau above the cliff to the south, overlooking the lake. Darien Resources

5 DAY 2 - SATURDAY MAY 22, Paquette Street, Sudbury, Ontario, Canada P3A 5R4 Telephone: (705) Fax: (705) Morrison and Ley trecked back to the diabase outcrop west of Long Lake. They then tracked the northern contact of the diabase to the north-west until they encountered the northern limit of the claim boundary. They tagged the northern limit of the claim more clearly, working westwards and then cut south over the diabase outcrop to find the southern contact of the diabase. They then followed this back toward the south-east in the direction of the lake to map the southern contact of the diabase out-crop, coming back to the east end of Long lake. Beauchamp and Graham continued tagging the eastern claim boundary north towards the lake and continued with line cutting. Steed and Pitman also continued line cutting the southern claim boundary westwards towards the deep gully going down to the bay in the northern lake shore (Lauzon Lake). Day 3 - Sunday May 23, 2004 Morrison and Ley trecked north-west across the plateau to continue mapping diabase contacts to the west. Crossed the creek at the west end of the lake and locaed the No. 1 claim post on a diabase outcrop and cut line down to the north shore of the lake (Long Lake). Then mapped other outcrops following the claim boundary west. The contact between outcrops was fairly complicated and essentially had to be remapped twice due to indeterminate contacts in many places. It is clear additional staking should be done in this area. Graham and Beauchamp started line cutting from the No.1 post of claim westward along the northern boundary. Steed and Pitman continued prospecting along the southern claim boundary line ( ). Day 4 - Monday May 24, 2004 Morrison and Ley continue geological mapping diabase contacts to the west and north-west of Long Lake. Graham, Beauchamp, Pitman and Steed trecked northwest over the flat plateau to the western boundary of claim and continued cutting line north along this boundary, staying on top of the plateau.
