The closest are approximately three kilometres away: MDI41I06NW00083 Fairbank Lake: Copper lead occurrence; MDI41I06NW00105 Lot 9, Con 5: Copper nickel discretionary occurrence; MDI41I06NW00104 Lots 8&9, Con 5: Copper nickel discretionary occurrence. 2. checked geological mapping for the project area: The study area is underlain by the rocks of the Sudbury Igneous Complex (SIC), its upper unit of dark granophyre outcropping in the parcel according to Denison-Waters Area geology map (M2119). A map showing the bedrock geology and the MDI points is attached to this letter. There is an Aggregate Resources Inventory Paper (ARIP) for the area: Aggregate resources inventory, west of Sudbury, Regional Municipality of Sudbury and District of Sudbury (ARIP140). No inventoried pit near the parcel. The surficial geology indicates surficial material that is comprised bedrock, covered with a thin layer of drift Precambrian. 1

The reason is the presence of the Sudbury igneous Compiex. The map is attached to this ietter. 5. checked CLAiMaps for the proximity of known AMiS sites. There are no known AMiS sites within short distance of the parcei. veraii, i do not see any objections even if the minerai potentiai is very high: no actuai commodity was identified on the parcei aithough a past map shows an outcrop on the parcei. Aiso, the iand owner is the mining rights owner on the parcei according to the information provided in the submission.
