3 THE PROPERTY Staked mineral claim is located in southeast Shaw Township, 17km ESE of the city of Timmins. Access is via Springer's Road, a gravel logging road, which traverses the west side of the claim. Ownership is o Laurion Gold Inc., 56 Temperance St., 4* Floor, Toronto, ON, M5H 3V.5. PREVIOUS WORK M.N.D.M. assessment work records contain only one file of previous work on this ground. In 1984 Gail Resources Inc. carried out a proton magnetometer survey over a group of claims including this property (T-2850). REGIONAL GEOLOGY Pyke (1982) indicates that southeast Shaw Township is underlain by massive mafic calcalkalic metavolcanics, with lesser amounts of pillowed flows and tuffs. The northwest striking Montreal River Fault passes about l km west of the property. DETAILED GEOLOGY Leslie Tihor, geologist, spent one day, November 23 rd, 2004, mapping geology on claim Results are shown on the attached map. The grey lines on the map show mapping traverses. As shown, the traverses are only approximate because actual ground covered included many diversions to check for outcrops. The topography is very flat and with very few outcrops. Vegetation consists of mainly very young poplar and tag alder mix. There are many narrow tag alder swamps and a few small areas of mature poplar/white spruce growth. A continuous black spruce swamp covers the northeast part of the claim. A few outcrops are found along the south claim line and one small outcrop was found near the number l claim post. All outcrops consist of fine to medium grained, massive, medium green basalt. A few pillows were noted near the south central part of the claim. The small outcrop near post #1 shows bleached and ankeritized basalt intruded by small amounts of feldspar porphyry. In this outcrop both rock types contain small amounts of flat-lying, narrow quartz veins. RECOMMENDATIONS Alteration and quartz veinlets associate with basalt/feldspar porphyry contacts near the #1 post suggest potential for gold mineralization. Although there is very little rock

4 exposed, local topography suggests that backhoe stripping would be a useful method for exposing much more rock in the area. REFERENCES 1982: Pyke, D.R.. "Timmins Area.
