3 I - INTRODUCTION: At the request of L. Gervais, geophysical surveys were carried out during the month of November,1997, by Exploration Services Reg'd, on the GERVAIS property located in Guibord township, Ontario. The magnetometer and V L F electromagnetic surveys were undertaken within the framework of a comprehensive exploration program in an attempt to outline GOLD-bearing structures. O - PROPERTY: The GERVAIS property consists of 2 claims of two units each: claim contains the southwest quadrant of lot 7, north Vz of concession IV as well as the northwest quadrant of lot 7, south 1A of concession IV; claim contains the southeast quadrant of lot 7, north 1A of concession IV as well as the northeast quadrant of lot 7, south V* of concession IV, GUIBORD township. Ill - LOCATION Si ACCESSIBILITY: The GERVAIS claim group is located in the north-central part of Guibord township at an approximate distance of 20 Km east-southeast of the town of Matheson, Ontario.

4 - 2 - From Matheson, the property is readily accessible by driving eastwards along highway 101 for a distance of 18 Km then southwards along a bush road for an additional distance of 2 Km. - the bush road traverses the north western corner of the claim group. IV - GEOPHYSICAL SURVEYS: The geophysical surveys were carried out along a previously cut grid whose base line strikes at 90 degrees for a length of 800 m; cross lines spaced at every 100 meter intervals extend on either side of the base line for a distance of 400 m. Thus, a total of 8.0 line Km have been covered by the surveys. A) Magnetometer Survey; 1 - Instrumentation: An E D A OMNI IV nuclear precession unit was used for the survey with accompanying base station for diurnal corrections. Readings were taken at every 12.5 meter intervals. 2 - Data presentation: The data were plotted on maps at the scale of 1:5 000; the repoprt includes a coloured map, a map with posted readings and an interpretation map.

5 Interpretation: The magnetometer survey has outlined at least 3 horizons of ultramafic volcanic units within the non-magnetic sedimentary rocks. These horizons vary in width from a few meters to widths in the range of 100 m as observed in the southern part of the grid. The general magnetic pattern also infers the presence of northwest trending faults. B) V L F Electromagnetic Survey: 1 - Instrumentation: A Geonic's EM-16 unit was used for the survey; readings were taken at every 25 m interval tuned to station NAA (24.0 Khz). All of the readings were taken facing north. 2 - Data Presentation: The In-Phase and Out-of-Phase readings were plotted on maps at the scale of 1:5 000; the report includes a map with posted readings and profiles. 3 - Interpretation: The V L F survey has outlined 4 short conductors, these appear to be trending in a northeasterly direction. All of the outlined conductors occur within the magnetic lows or sedimentary rocks.

6 - 4 - V - CONCLUSIONS A RECOMMENDATIONS: The magnetometer survey has identified 4 ultramafic units trending in an east-west direction. The ultramafic units appear to be located within sedimentary rocks. The magnetometer survey also infers the presence of northwest-trending fault zones. The four short V L F conductors outlined are probably caused by underlying topographical features. In order to outline faults and zones containing disseminated sulfides, it is recommended that an Induced Polarization survey be carried out on this claim group. Respectfully submitted: E.
