INTRODUCTION A grup f nine claims are lcated In the nrthwest crner f Bennewelss Twnship, Sudbury Mining Divisin, Ontari. The discvery f several cpper znes in granitic* rks has lead t the reexaminatin f these intrusives as a surce f base metal. An Induced Plarisatin survey was carried ut n the grup in rder t lcate pssible disseminated r shear-zne depsits f cpper* II. PRpPERTY, LOCATION AND AQOBSS The prperty is lcated in the nrthwest crner f Benneweles Twnship, Sudbury Mining Divisin, Ontari. It lies n the nrtheastern end f Bennewelss Lake. This lake is less than 1/2 mile frm the new Highway 560 t G w ga ma. Access Is als gd by bush aircraft t Bennewelss Lake. The prperty cmprises 9 cntiguus unpatented mining claims: J t -59 (9 claims) r

3 III. GENERAL GEOLOGY The rcks are generally large as Algman granites and assciated Intrusive s with narrw bands f Keewatin vlcanics and sediments and Timiskaming sediments. The whle area has been in truded by late Matachewan diabase dykes. IV. HISTORY The area was explred ver the last sixty years fr gld and minr currances were fund. The granites recently have been re-examined and areas f cpper mineralizatin were fund* These are usually In shear znes and disseminatin in the granites and nearby vlcanics and sediments* Wlii.:j'','r?7rSS Vv ' \': jig i'a ;": :'fti V. INDUCED POLARIZATION SURVEY A nrth-suth grid with lines spaced at 400 ft intervals, east-west, was surveyed using 300 ft separatins and taking three diple readings frm each transmitter diple. The three anmalus znes that are marked ver the lake n lines 12W, 16W and SOW appear shallw, These frm the Lake Anmaly.

4 VI. CONCLUSIONS AND Althugh the prperty w&s t be mapped u this cming eummer, the Lake Anmaly cannt be further assessed frm mapping. The anmaly appears frm a shallw surce.
