Sme narrw basic and acid dikes and sills intrude the vlcanics. SURVEY METHDS AND INSTRUMENT DATA Baselines were cut parallel jfc tfre strike^ f the frmatin. At 200-ft intervals. picket lines were cut and chained at right angles t the baselines. A Sharpe MF-l Fluxgate Magnetmeter, jnea su r i ngjbhe. vertical cmpnent f the magnetic field^ was used fr the survey. The bject f the survey was t lcate bvius magnetic anmalies and diurnal crrectins.were nt applied. This in strument reads directly in gamma values with a readability f 5 gammas n the 1000 gamma scale^ Readings were taken at 100-ft intervals alng the lines, in anmalus areas every 50 f ee^. A ttal f 2,296 readings were taken n the 43 claims. 5. RESULTS AND INTERPRETATIN f MAGNETMETER SURVEY The results f the magnetmeter survey are shwn n the accmpanying drawing N. 301 at a scale f JL inch ^ 400 feet. Several ther anmalies are parallel t the reginal strike and prbably represent rck units f higher magnetic susceptibility.

In the hrizntal lp type f survey, bth the j.n-phase ^and ut "f-phase cmpnents^ f^ the secndary field are measured, whse special characteristics make pssible a fairly accurate evaluatin f the cnductivity. A cnductr caused by sulphide mineralizatin will prduce a curve ging frm psitive readings thrugh zer t negative and back again t psitive. Bth the in-phase.and ut-f-phase readings shw the same general curve. The rati between the in-phase and ut-f-phase readings ver a cnductr is an indicatin f the cnductivity f the bdy. A gd cnductr wuld cause a greater deviatin f the inphase than the ut-f-phase cmpnent. The ppsite is true f a pr cnductr. A ttal f 2,603 readings were taken n the 43 claims. 5. RESULTS AND INTERPRETATIN F ELECTRMAGNETIC SURVEY The results f the electrmagnetic survey are shwn n the accmpanying drawing N. 302 at a scale f l inch = 400 i feet. i i- 1" '' The EM-17 survey lcated a cnductive zne n claim S which is cincident with the expsed sulphide shwing. The magnitude f the readings and the rati f in-phase t utf-phase readings indicate rather weak cnductivity which is cnsistent with the character f the mineralizatin. 6. CNCLUSINS AND RECMMENDATINS Further diamnd drilling was in prgress beneath the shwing at the time f surveying. Since n ther cnductrs were lcated n the prperty, n drilling is recmmended utside f the shwing area.
