Reprt n Kasagiminnis Lake Prject (ntari) D Magnetic Mdeling Manicuagan Minerals Inc. 1. UMMARY During June f 2009, Ge Data lutins Inc. carried ut a detailed helicpter brne magnetic gephysical survey fr Manicuagan Minerals Inc. ver the Kasagiminnis Lake Prject area in the Pickle Lake area f ntari, Canada. Cndr Cnsulting Inc. has cmpleted a D magnetic inversin f the data acquired in this survey. The wrk was subcntracted thrugh Matthew Jhnstn, a cnsulting gephysicist, wrking n behalf f Mr. Bruce Mackie f Manicuagan Minerals Inc. It is believed that the data is interpretable t lcate znes f ptential mineralizatin. Additinal analysis and interpretatin f the magnetic data, in cnjunctin with knwn gelgy and gechemistry, is recmmended. Cndr Cnsutting, Inc. 1 eptemljer 2009

Reprt n Kasagiminnis Lake Prject (ntari) D Magnetic Mdeling Manicuagan Minerals Inc. 2. INTRDUCTIN During June f 2009, Ge Data lutins Inc. (GD) earned ut a detailed helicpter brne magnetic gephysical survey fr Manicuagan l\^inerals Inc. (MAM) ver the Kasagiminnis Lake Prject area in the Pickle Lake area f ntari Canada. The survey area is lcated in the Pickle Lake Greenstne Belt, apprximately 25 kilmeters suthwest f the twn f Pickle Lake. The lcatin f the survey is shwn in Figure 1. The purpse f this reprt is t list the prducts delivered by Cndr Cnsulting Inc. (Cndr) during eptember 2009 and t describe the ptential f the magnetic inversin utcmes t identify additinal mineral ptential. The general survey area cntains knwn gld mineralizatin and the survey was perfrmed t identify ther lcatins f similar mineralizatin. A ttal line-km f gephysical data was flwn fr the survey with a nminal 25 m line spacing in a nrth-suth directin with respect t UTM nrth. All the regular flight lines, line-km, were prcessed fr this reprt. The GD field Lgistics Reprt, t-hilaire (2009), (see Appendix C, Archive DVD) prvides the specific details f the survey. A gelgical descriptin f the prperty is taken frm Bissnnette and Mackie (2009). The Kasagiminnis Lake prperty is lcated in the Dempster-Pickle l^kes greenstne t}elt which trends rughly east-west and jins the Pickle Lake tielt t the east, and the Meen-Dempster Lakes t)elt t the west. The prperty is underlain by a cmplex sequence f suthward yunging mafic-tintenriediate flws, mafic-t-felsk pyrclastts, sediments and pnybable irn fnnatin. This sequence has been intruded by numerus small gabbric bdies, granite pegmatite dykes and minr felsite dykes. The prtin f the belt expsed n the prperty has been cmpressed between tw granitk: ttdies, the Kasagiminnis Lake and Carting Granite Plutns, n the nrth and suth respectively, resulting in a narrwing f the belt t apprximately ne mile in width. High angle faults, interpreted frm gelgical and gephy^cal data, crsscut the vlcan-sedimentary sequence and trend nrtheast-suthwest and nrthwest-sutheast. Pen/asive sheanng and small scale flding is prbably related t a reginal tectnk: event. Cndr Cnsutting, Inc. 2 eptemljer 2009

Reprt n Kasagiminnis Lake Prject (ntari) D Magnetic Mdeling Manicuagan Minerals Inc.. PRCEING AND PRDUCT Inversin pecificatins The University f British Clumbia D magnetic inversin prgram, versin 4.0, was used fr the inversins (Li and ldenburg, 1996). This is a smth-mdel inversin, minimizing an bjective functin that is a measure f the rughness and intensity f the mdeled rck prperty. It was mn with n cnstraints apart frm the bserved data and an increased length weight in the east and vertical directins t assist in creating a gelgically accurate mdel. Area Inverted: The area t be inverted was defined by a rectangle: 67890E t E and N t N. The area f interest abve Wd 6l6Ct6Cl s that it encmpassed the entire data set, requiring breaking the inversin int multiple tiles. It was pssible that a smaller area that still encmpassed the claim blcks culd be inverted, but this wuld nt alleviate the need fr multiple tiles and ffered nly a small advantage in run time. Magnetic Data: The riginal TMI data was cllected at 25 m spaced lines flwn in a nrth-suth directin. Fr the inversin, the starting data came frm the Gesft grid: midev-dcr.grd (6 m cell size), created by Cndr using the Gesft minimum curvature algrithm frm the Miclev clumn in the data set, Kasa_DB.gdb, delivered by Matthew Jhnstn. The tie lines were nt incrprated int the data set that was gridded, resulting in nly line-km f the riginal line-km being used fr the inversin. Cndr perfrmed an additinal decrrugatin n the grid prir t the inversin. The reginal fi'm the grid was remved via a simple "' rder shift f nt that was perfrmed ver the spatial extents f the final gridded data. N further preparatin f tiie data was required. ince the data was TMI, nt RTP, the magnetic field infmiatin was prvided t the inversin prgram. Fr bth the inducing magnetic fiekl and the induced magnetic field, an inclinatin f 77.2 degrees and a declinatin f-2.51 degrees were used. The Earth's field strength f nt was used. These are the IRGF values fr the center f the survey area. Cndr Cnsutting, Inc. 4 eptemljer 2009

Reprt n Kasagiminnis Lake Prject (ntari) D Magnetic Mdeling Manicuagan Minerals Inc. A magnetic sensr height abve tpgraphy f 40 m was used, which was taken as the mean bird height in the prvided GD reprt. The inversin results are nt cnsidered t be highly dependent n the survey height and a 5 m errr wuld nt be significant. Tpgraphic Data: The tpgraphy came frm the DTMc clumn f the Gesft database file Kasa_DB.gdb. The tpgraphy was gridded at 6 m. As with the magnetic data, Cndr perfrmed an additinal decrrugatin n the grid prir t the inversin. Mdel Design: The finite element mesh fr the inversin emplyed a cell size f 25 m by 25 m in the east and nrth dimensins (same as the flight line spacing), and the cell height varied with respect t depth. The area was split int tw tiles, with 112 cells in the easting and 119 in the nrthing fr each tile. Each tile extended 20 cells (500 m) int the adjacent tile t accmmdate verlap. In the vertical directin, there were 4 air cells, each being 10 m thick and the grund cells started at 10 m thick and then prgressively increased in thickness thrugh 5 vertical cells. Depth f mesh, excluding rim and air cells, was 700 m. In additin t the cells specified abve, 7 rim (buffer) cells required by the finite element algrithm were used n the sides f the mesh and 5 added t the bttm. The individual tile finite element vxel mdels were trimmed by 7 cells n the east and west, 7 cells n the nrth, and suth, and 5 cells frm the bttm t remve the finite element buffer cells. The individual tiles were merged int ne final mdel by lineariy distant-weighting the veriap cells t blend the results. Based n the average hrizntal gradient, the errr estimate prvided t the inversin prgram was 1.6 nt fr all the data in the western tile and fr all data in the eastem tile. This en-r estimate was cmputed individually fr each tile by using times the standard deviatin f the data plus 0.05 times the average gradient f the data plus 1.0 nt. Inversin Misfit Results: Tw inversins were run, the first with a starting and reference susceptibility f 0.0. The mdel frm the first inversin was sharpened then used as the reference fr the secnd inversin. Tabulated belw are the statistics fr the gdness-f-fit between the bsen/ed magnetic data and the predicted data frm the inversin. Nte that the misfits are larger n the final inversin, this is Cndr Cnsutting, Inc. 5 eptemljer 2009

Reprt n Kasagiminnis Lake Prject (ntari) D Magnetic Mdeling Manicuagan Minerals Inc. 4. REULT The UBC D inversin prduces a susœptibility blck mdel, cnsisting f rectilinear vxels that can be queried by cmmercially available prgrams, including Gesft and EncmPA, a prduct f Pitney Bwes Business Insight. Cndr used prprietary prgrams t extract a suite f 2D grids frm the vxel mdel. mall features in the mdel belw the depth f 1 km are nt cnsidered t be meaningful. nly lng features in the riginal TMI data will prduce deep mdel features. The gelgy f the area is described by Bissnnette and Mackie (2009). The prperty cntains irn frmatin as well as mafic vlcanic flws. The gld mineralizatin is believed t be spatially assciated with magnetite bearing irn frmatins, which wuld be represented by high susceptibility values in the vxel mdel. Figure 2 shws an image f the starting TMI grid used in the inversin. The anmalies are characterized by a well defined gelgic strike. The mdeled susceptibility cntinues this gelgic strike as seen in Figure that depicts the 50 m depth slice. At the deeper depths f 100 m and 200 m, seen in Figures 4 and 5, the magnetic features appear increasingly larger, typical f smth bjective-functin based uncnstrained inversins due the decrease in reslutin with depth. The magnetic features appear t be steeply dipping, pssibly t the nrth, althugh in Figure 6, a nrth-suth crss sectin, there des nt appear t be a significant dip t the nrth r the suth. Figure 6 shws the crss-sectin f the mdel t the full extent the inversin was run. Figure 7 shws the 50 m depth slice with the lcatin f high EM time cnstants placed ver the image. The time cnstant data is frm Bissnnette and Mackie (2009). It can be seen that the time cnstant, a measure f cnductivity, rughly fllws the magnetic susceptibility, in particulariy it fllws the suthern prtins f it in the regin where the magnetic belt appears t wklen. The time cnstant is strngly influenced by the bulk cnductivity f the grund, nt just the cnductivity f the irn frmatins. This implies that either the hst rck r the irn frmatin may be mre cnductive in the suthern half f the central claim blck. Cndr Cnsutting, Inc. 8 eptemljer 2009
