1 ! y l K* 2.97 FSTER 0 GECHEMICAL SURVEY AS ASSESSMENT WRK '"D BY: Kenneth V. Naples 0 G, 436 Haig Street, P.. Bx Espanla, ntari PP IC DATE SUBMITTED: February 1, 197 QUALIFICATINS F AUTHR: See a cpy f the letter cncerning the requirements pertaining t the qualificatins f the authr f the gechemical survey reprt submitted t the Ministry fr assessment wrk credits n mining claims. LCATI:: A V;D ACCESS T PRPERTY l The claims numbered S-G S-03193, and S-7S?G5, brder n the West Bundary f Lt 6, Cncessin III f Fster Twnship. The prperty is accessible by taking the Black Creek Rnd apprximately.1 km. frm the turn ff frm Espar.la, ntari. A path is ir.arkd by red blazing tape fr:?, this rad be'jinni.ng ' frm the rea ci abut. 5 k n. past a culvert under a by ver which this rad runs. The wll marked path runs apprximately \; mile frm the rad t the first stake at th Nrtheast crner f Claim DATES DURTN'G WHICH THE SURVEY WAS MADE; September l, 1936 until December 31, SUMMARY F EXPLRATIN f, DEVELPMENT D*:E N THE PRPERTY T DATE: The gechemical wrk n 5 lines was dne n Clain SS The hles n these lines are spaced 0 ft. apart and run in a Nrth-Suth directin. There are ^14 statins per line f ' 70, ' samples., ttal, These samples were analyzed fr ttal ba se-metals"fcu/ph S ju ) using the fllv;ing prcedure: Samples were grund t C mesh and apprximately 1-2 grams were intrduced int a pyrex test tube caped with inert plastic. A 5nl buffer slutin f ammnium citrate f Ph.G5 was added t each sample and agitated fr 20 sec. Th..n
2 apprximately 1ml f xylene and a measured scp f diathizne was added t the mixture and was agitated fr 20 sec. The mixture was allwed t stand and the clurs n tp f the mixture was bserved upn standing. The fllwing clurs indicated ttal base metals as *-.,f G * Green - nne Blue - slightly present Purple - Medium Cncentrated Red - Highly Cncentrated RESULTS: See accmpanying analysis sheet and technical naps 5- gechemical survey. CNCLUSINS: The results f the gechemical survey f ttal, base metals was nly f a qualitative nature. As shwn the cncentratin are high in the area f statiaas**, -* Eg - 31, 02 and E - 01, 02 and F-u -02. ther areas are in the vacinity f r.n - 0 7,0,09. There seems t be a strng crrelatin f this area with the V.L.F. survey but nt with the magnetmeter survey. Hence, further wrk is suggested in this area. Perhaps with an induce plarizatin survey culd be clne t determine if massive sulficles are present beneath the verburden. Yurs truly, Kenneth Naples Prspectr
3 ADDENDUM The sil samples were dug as fllws; Hles, apprximately 1ft. 2 were dug by shvel t a depth f apprximately 1ft. Sil was taken in the "B" Hrizn frm each f the fur sides with a tablespn made f stain steel. The clur f the sil samples alng each line in ascending rder f statins, fr example, varies frm greyish clay in lw t brwn gravelly sand in higher areas with sme black sand arund statin 4 n line. This statin is situated in a lw flat wet area. An anmlus sil sample was fund at statin 5, line Eg which gave an range clur after testing with the diathizne, This may suggest a tracing f silver. Further sil sampling arund this particular area will have t be dne in rder t establish if there is any pattern. The ttal number f miles f line cut and distance traversed fr this survey was 1^ miles. Yurs truly, Kenneth Naples Prspectr
