3 RE 09/07.05 VT-VRPA-.-X/ Hydraulics Bosch Rexroh AG /0 Funcion Power supply uni [] The amplifier card is provided wih a power supply uni wih making-curren limier. I supplies all he inernally required posiive and negaive volages. The making-curren limier prevens high making-curren peaks caused by smoohing capaciors in he curren oupu sage. Command value preselecion The inernal command value signal is generaed from he sum (summaion [6]) of he exernal command value signal applied o differenial inpu [] and curren inpu [], called signal [] and zero poin offse [5] (zero poin poeniomeer Zw ). There is no changeover beween curren and volage inpus. The inpus are permanenly available (see erminal assignmen). Command value call-ups [] Four command value signals, w o w, can be called up. Exernal command value volages (command values o ) are fed forward eiher direcly hrough regulaed volage oupus +0 V and 0 V or via exernal poeniomeers. If he command value inpus are conneced direcly o he regulaed volages, he command values can be adjused using poeniomeers w o w. If exernal poeniomeers are used, he inernal poeniomeers ac as aenuaors or limiers. Only one call-up is possible a a ime. If several call-ups are acivaed simulaneously, call-up has lowes prioriy, call-up highes prioriy. The acive call-up is signalled by a yellow LED on he fron panel. Command value inversion [7] The command value ha was generaed inernally from inpu signals, command value call-ups and he -zero poin offse signal can be invered wih he help of an exernal signal or jumper J. The applicaion of an exernal inversion signal is signalled by an LED ( ) on he fron panel. Enable funcion [8] The enable funcion enables he curren oupu sages and passes he inernal command value signal on o he ramp generaor. The enable signal is indicaed by an LED on he fron panel. When he enable is cu in, he inernal command value changes (wih any preseleced command value) according o he se ramp ime. This ensures ha a conrolled valve does no open abruply. Ramp generaor [9] The ramp generaor limis he gradien of he conrol variable. The downsream sep funcions and ampliude aenuaors do no exend or shoren he ramp ime. Jumper J can be used o se he ramp ime o minimum (< ms) (ramp off). Exernal ramp ime adjusmen The ramp ime se inernally can be exended using an exernal poeniomeer. The seing can be checked wih he help of he measuring socke. In he case of a cable break, he inernal preseing will be used auomaically. Characerisic curve generaor [] The adjusable characerisic curve generaor can be used o adjus he sep-change heigh and maximum values separaely for posiive and negaive signals in accordance wih he hydraulic requiremens. The acual curve shape hrough he zero poin is no sep-like, bu linear. Ampliude limier [] The inernal command value is limied o approx. ±0 % of he nominal range. Oscillaor [] The oscillaor generaes he conrol signal for he inducive posiion ransducer. Demodulaor [5] The demodulaor generaes he acual value signal of he valve spool posiion from he posiion ransducer signal. 00 % 0 V Posiion conroller [7] The posiion conroller is opimised o he individual valve. Curren oupu sage [8] The curren oupu sage generaes he clocked solenoid curren for he proporional valve. The solenoid curren is limied o.5 A o.8 A per oupu. The curren oupu sage oupus are shor-circui-proof. In he case of an inernal faul signal or missing enable, he oupu sages are deacivaed. Faul deecion [9] The posiion ransducer cable is moniored for cable break and shor-circui on he primary side, and he oupu sages for excessive curren.
