The response of net nitrogen m ineralization rate to soil temperatures which changed from 5 to 15 was low but high when temperature over 15. The response of net nitrogen m ineralization rate to soil temperature was more sensitive in peat soils than in marsh soils. The Q 10 values for nitrogen m ineralization were about 4. 4 at in inunda2 tion, in other conditions, which showed that the most sensitive scope for response of nitrogen m inerali2 zation to soil temperature was at Keywords: alp ine wetland; m arsh soil; peat soil; nitrogen m ineralization
