3 , SUMXARY OB WORX AND CONCLUBONS The current program consisted of prospecting quartz vein outcroppings and a copper intrusive in the middle of the Lone claim running E/W, 3s well as the investigation of the source of syenite and possible diatremes. A total of 27 days were spent prospecting and traversing the Wildhorse canyon to identify the above intrusives. A map is supplied showing the locations of rock samples taken and assayed by Acme Labs of Vancouver. An extensive soil program should be initiated for future examinat on and exploration of the copper intrusive. 2. PROPERTY LOCATON AND ACCESS The Property is located 2 km northeast of Cranbrook, B.C. and straddles the Wildhorse River (Figure 1). Access is via Highway #95 to the Fort Steele-Warder turnoff, thence east 2.4 km to the Mause Creek Road. Follow the Mause Creek Road then turn onto the Boulder Creek Road, and proceed for a combined distance of 4.6 km. Turn again onto the Mause Creek FSR and proceed to the work area. The drill access trail is about 1.2 km along this road.

Each claim has a 2 post location. They are all in the Ft. Steele Mining District. 6 . HSTORY 5. Little is known of the early work on the property. Between 1961 and 1963 two geologists, Newmarch and Hughes, investigated fhe perched valley as a potential original Wildhorse drainage, and they did sufficient mapping and seismic profile work to confirm the possibility of the idea. A limited program of test pits and trenches showed the presence of fine placer gold but none of the coarse values as had been seen just upstream in historical workings. n 1988 Brian Xostiuk recognized the same possibility and re-staked the ground. As the overburden was obviously too deep to adequately test using a hand tool program, he drilled a test hole to bedrock. Results were sufficiently encouraging to prompt the drilling of six additional holes in 199, and have the placer potential evaluated by Michael Henrick, a geologist with considerable local and national experience. n 1991 the mineral titles were staked. This accompanied a further 3 hole placer test program in overburden, one hole of which was drilled to confirm the presence of anomalous cobalt seen at bedrock in hole #2-9. The results of the re-test were negative, but the location was of sufficient interest to cause the drilling of the short diamond drill hole in the current program, to recover core for a look at the underlying structure.

7 , PROGRAH A 17. meter BQ diamond drill hole was drilled to deepen a previously drilled placer sample hole, #2-9 (Figure 3). Some prospecting was done in outcrop in the northeast corner of the claim block on Bri-Lin GEOLOGY The section of the property examined in the current program was all within the Creston sequence: a series of grey green argillites and quartzites which are locally chloritized, and/or altered to sericite schist. Previous reports mentioned diorite intrusives which were not noted in the outcrop examines, or in the drill core, although the presence of proto-garnets and veining indicate a proximate heat source, and hydrothermal activity. The focus of interest is the network of quartz veins which pass through the area. The 2. meter vein intersected in the drill core contained geochemically elevated values of lead, copper and gold. The considerable volume of coarse placer gold recovered from the Wildhorse River drainage gives rise to the hope of locating a viable lode source.
