c r 1 SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATONS r r The Pilot Gold property is located approximately 48 kilometres southeast of Kamloops in south-central British Columbia. The property consists of four modified grid claims and six two post claims covering 54 units in the Kamloops Mining Division. Access is via Westwold from the north and Douglas Lake from the south. The property is underlain by granodiorites, quartz diorites and gabbros of the Coast intrusions. Mineralization is related to quartz veins and/or stockworks up to 1.5 metres in width and containing pyrite, pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite. Low gold and copper values have been obtained on surface. During the period 1984 through 1989, eight BQ diamond drill holes totalling metres were drilled on the property. Results of this drilling were low, with the best results being 740 ppb gold, 3.2 ppm silver and 2047 ppm copper over 1.02 meters. The 1992 program consisted of one BQ diamond drill hole on the south side of Weyman Creek to test for quartz veins. The hole was drilled to a depth of metres. Up to its present depth, the drill hole has not encountered any significant quartz veins or strong sulphide mineralization. However, a number of narrow silicified zones (up to 40 centimetres in width) were encountered with traces of pyrite and pyrrhotite. Narrow quartz and/or calcite veinlets, generally less than 3 millimetres in width occur over sections of core up to 40 centimetres in length. Some veinlets contain up to 5% pyrite and pyrrhotite, but generally contain around 1% pyrite and pyrrhotite. Recommendations are as follows: 1) The mineralized sections of drill core should be analyzed for gold, silver and copper. 2) Surface exploration, especially geophysical surveys should be carried out over the area of diamond drilling. Magnetic highs and/or VLF-EM conductors combined with geological information from the drill holes may give additional drill targets.
2 1.0 NTRODUCTON 1.1 GENERAL Diamond drilling was carried out on the Pilot Gold property between July 2 and July 16, Harold Adams supervised the drilling and Grant Crooker was retained to prepare the report. One BQ diamond drill hole (106.7 metres) tested gold and copper bearing sulphide mineralization within quartz veins and/or stockworks. 1.2 LOCATON AND ACCESS The property (Figure 1) is located approximately 48 kilometres southeast of Kamloops in south central British Columbia. t lies between 50 20' 45" and 50 22' 35" north latitude and 119O 56' and 12O0 00' 15" west longitude (NTS 82L-5W). Access to the property is available from both the north and the south by all weather two wheel drive logging roads. From the north, one turns south at Westwold and follows the road along the Salmon River for approximately 20 kilometres to the Weyman Creek Road. From the south, one turns east from Highway 5A and proceeds through Douglas Lake for approximately 29 kilometres to the Weyman Creek road. From here the property is located adjacent to Weyman Creek, 2'kilometres west of the junction. 1.3 PHYSOGRAPHY The property lies near Weyman Creek within the Thompson Plateau of south-central British Columbia. Topography is gentle and elevation varies from 950 to 1250 meters above sea level. Pine and Fir trees cover most of the property, with Weyman Creek flowing through the centre of the claims. A large part of the area has been logged. Outcrop is very sparse over most of the area covered by the claims. 1.4 PROPERTY AND CLAM STATUS The Pilot Gold property (Figure 1) consists of four modified grid claims and six two post claims covering 54 units in the Kamloops Mining Division. The property is owned by Mr. Harold Adams of Tulameen B.C..

t.-. t r MNNG DVSON Kamloops Kamloops Kamloops Kamloops Kamloops Kamloops Kamloops Kamloops Kamloops Kamloops *Upon acceptance of this report AREA AND PROPERTY HSTORY The first known reference to the Pilot Gold property is found in the Minister of Mines Annual Report for This report states the following: "A considerable amount of prospecting by means of shafts, open-cuts and stripping was done on the following claims: On the Pilot Group, owned by T.E. Ogilvie and associates of Armstrong and situated near the headwaters of Boulder Creek, which flows into the Salmon River, a shaft sunk 18 feet on a mineralized zone in the volcanic tuffs beside the creek uncovered segregations of pyrite, pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite in a quartz gangue, containing low values in gold and silver. A sample in an old opencut close to the shaft assayed 0.40 ounces in gold per ton, and the shaft was sunk with the idea of exploring the possibilities at depth. The locality is heavily covered with soil and gravel and prospecting is difficult. The granite batholith is exposed about one mile to the north.". Harold Adams staked the property in 1980 and has carried out trenching and drilling on the claims. Eight drill holes totalling metres were drilled during 1984, 1988 and A summary of the drill hole data is given in Table. The drilling intersected a number of quartz veins and/or stockworks with pyrite, pyrrhotite and minor chalcopyrite. Geochemical analysis'of the quartz veins gave low gold, silver and copper values. The highest geochemical values obtained were 740 ppb gold, 3.6 ppm silver and 2047 ppm copper over approximately one metre.
4 Table - Drill Data, and EXPLORATON PROCEDURE The program covered by this report consisted of one BQ diamond drill hole drilled to a depth of metres. Subsequent to the filing of the statement of work covering the metres of drilling, the hole was extended to a depth of metres. The interval from to metres will be filed for assessment work at a later date. The location of the drilling relative to claim boundaries is shown on figure 1 and the drill hole location is shown on figure 2. The core is presently stored at the drill site.
5 3.0 GEOLOGY AND MNERALZATON 3.1 REGONAL GEOLOGY The property lies within the ntermontane Belt of southern British Columbia. The geology of the Weyman Creek area is shown on Geological Survey of Canada maps 1059A (Vernon) and 886A (Nicola). The property is mainly underlain by granodiorite, quartz diorite and gabbro of the Jurassic and/or Cretaceous Coast ntrusions. Carboniferous? and Permian argillite of the Cache Creek Group outcrop in the southern and eastern portions of the claims with a narrow band of Archean or Later Chapperon Group occurring further east. Oligocene or Miocene volcanic rocks of the Kamloops Group cover large portions of the area to the north and east. 3.2 MNERALZATON Mineralization on the Pilot Gold property is related to quartz veins and/or stockworks and breccias containing pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, malachite and azurite with gold and copper values. White calcite veinlets ranging in size from 1 millimetre to 5 centimetres often cut the quartz veins. The calcite veinlets contain weak concentrations of pyrite and pyrrhotite. The quartz is exposed on surface at several locations in the area of diamond drilling (Figure 2). However due to the extensive overburden the exact size and orientation of the quartz veining and /or stockworks is difficult to determine.
r DAMOND 'DRLLNG Diamond drilling was carried out on the property between July 2nd and July 16th A summary of the pertinent data is given in Table 11. Table 1 - Drill Data, 1992 The drill hole was mainly in a fine to medium grained, hornblende quartz diorite. A number of narrow (up to 40 centimetres) grey green silicified zones with traces of pyrite and pyrrhotite were encountered. These silicified zones, as well as sections of quartz diorite are often cut by quartz and/or calcite veinlets ranging in, width from 1 millimetre to 10 centimetres. Most of the veinlets are less than 1 centimetre in width and occur over core lengths of less than 40 centimetres. The veinlets contain pyrite and/or pyrrhotite in concentrations ranging up to 5%. but averaging around 1%. None of the mineralized sections of drill core have been assayed as of the writing of this report.
