4 1. SUMMARY During the month of October, 1972 a program of preliminary geological mapping was done on the 23 claims comprising the Bombini Group of claims located in the Deadwood Creek area. The work was carried out by two geologists, who were housed in the town of Greenwood. A four wheel drive vehicle was used for trans- portation.

5 2. PROPERTY AND LOCATON The property consists of 23 mineral claims in the Greenwood Mining Division, located two miles west of Greenwood, British Columbia, at 118'437 longitude and 49'07' latitude. The claims are optioned to Fury Explorations Ltd. (NPL) and are in good standing. 7 4. HSTORY Skomac Mines Ltd. optioned a part of the Claim Group in 1962 but there is no record of any work done on the property. During the summer of 1967 Utah Construction and Mining Company ran 5.8 miles of nduced Polarization Survey and diamond drilled two holes on the western portion of the property. Results of this drill- ing were negative. During July 1972 a brief report on the property was prepared by T. R. Tough, P. Eng. mgonal GEOLOGY The eastern portion of the property is underlain by sediments of the Anarchist Group which are intruded by diorite of Cretaceous Nelson ntrusions. The most eastern extremities cover serpentinite. The western claim area is underlain by conglomerates and chert. Underlying the chert is interbedded silbtone and greywacke. The general strike of the sediments is 350' with steep dips to the west and east. The northeastern and easternareas are underlain by diorite. Along the south side of Haas Creek granitized sediments or paragneiss occur.

8 5. LOCAL Gl3OLOGY AND MNERALZATON There are numerous pits and trenches on the property most reveal- ing chalcopyrite, pyrite and pyrrhotite. The chalcopyrite and pyrite occur as disseminations or fracture fillings in diorite whereas the pyrrhotite occurs in a generally massive form in the eastern portion of the property where diorite intrudes metasediments. Chalcopyrite was also noted in small pits along Haas Creek occurring as fracturing fillings in brecciated paragneiss. GEOLOGC& MAPPNG Two geologists who are employed by Phelps Dodge Corporation of Canada Ltd. spent two days performing geological mapping and preparing a Compilation Map on the property. Control for the survey was obtained from aerial photos of scale 1" 660' (appraximately), and a map of this scale was prepared and is submitted with this report. During the survey both rock chip sampling and geochemical soil sampling was done. Results of these samples are plotted on the map.

CONCLUSONS Geological mapping and a general compilation of information indicates that there is a porphyry copper target area worthy of exploration. t is recommended that a series of percussion drill holes should be used to sample the bedrock under the target area.
