PAGE: 1 NTRODUCTON At the request of the Board of Directors of Bella Vista Resources -Ltd., the properties subject of this report were inspected on Old workings on the property were inspected, the old adits are inaccessible - however dumps and open cuts were sampled and an exploration programme involving mapping and geophysics is proposed. The old workings were located by two prospectors employed by Bella Vista Resources Ltd. on August 15-16, LOCATON AND ACCESS The property is located in the Nelson Mining Division at the headwater basin of Waldie Creek 10 km ESE of Salmo, B.C. Coordinates of the main showing are: 49p 7' N, 117O 2' 45" W The area of the property is accessible via logging roads up Sheep Creek and its tributary Waldie Creek to within 2.5 km of the main showing, thence by walking trail through the property to the main showing. Direct access to the above is available using helicopters from the base at Nelson, B.C. about 48 km to the NNE. Staking map sheet is M82F/3E.

5 'm CONSULTANTS LTD. TOPOGRAPHY AND CLMATE The main showing area is located in a cirque basin with rjelatively shallow slopes on the northwesterly extension of the., mineralised structure area. Surrounding the east, west and south of the basin are steep to precipitous ridges up to 2290 meters in height. The showing itself is located on timber line at 1950 meters. i The climate in the area is typical of the high elevation W e s t Kootenay area. Various claim posts were inspected during the writers inspect'ion and the claims appear to be located in accordance with Provincial law. REGONAL GEOLOGY According to the G.S.C. map lo9oa from Memoir 308 Nelson Map Area, W e s t Half, the property is located in the Proterozoic Three Sisters Formation which in the area of the showings is quartzite and grit stones. The western half of the claims lie in the Quartzite Range Formation. These formations are part of the major Lower Cambrian series which strikes north-south through the Salmo - Sheep Creek area. 1 PROPERTY HSTORY The only records of previous work on this property are from the Minister of Mines Report of 1926 which reports a tunnel, between 500 and 600 feet in length, follows a quartz-prophyry dyke 18 feet wide in places, westerly direction". which cuts the formation in an easterly and This report talks of scattered iron and copper sulphides carrying gold and silver values. Selected results gave:

8 'DmCONSULTANTS LTD. Au. oz/ton Ag. oz/ton cu. % J.F. Walker in G.S.C. Memoir, 172 (p. 81) reports similar information without any assays. This report notes a 462 foot long drift with 3 small crosscuts to the south. The main structures bear into the north wall and from 220 feet to 280 feet the mineralised gouge zone averages 4 feet in width. PROPERTY GEOLOGY The claims lie across the boundary of the Lower Cambrian Three Sisters and Quartzite Range Formations with vertical dips on the / western part of the property shallowing to 40 easterly dips on the eastern edge of the claims. The claims cover the upper drainage basin and surrounding peaks of Waldie Creek and include Waldie Lake (also known as Wolf Lake). Two collapsed adits about 500 feet apart were observed t about 1950 meters altitude. Between the adits lies a hand trench and 50 meters above the upper adit there is a second trench. These old workings all lie on a very obvious east-west trending fault apparently (from dump material and old reports) filled by a quartz - porphyry dyke. This structure strikes at 102O and has a vertical dip.

9 PAGE: 8 D 1 ;ly. CONSULTANTS LTD. -7 The adit area is generally covered by heavy talys scaled from the steep to precipitous slope above it. Surrounding rocks are almost entirely of medium bedded quartzite. A small intrusive (Granodiorite?) stock was observed headwater basin of Waldie Creek, on the western slope of the opposite to the showings and abdut PjOO meters west. The fault shows very prominently on the mountainside as an incised rubble filled hollow. Two parallel structures were noticed about 200 and 400 meters north of the adits. There was no evidence of previous work having been performed on these associated structures. 1 Due to the lack of any access to mineralised bedrock, grab samples were taken of representative mineralised rock types in the dumps and the sloughed trench between the caved adits. 11 Minor copper values of no economic significancq were found in all. samples and are noted in the appended assay sheet. N.B. 34 ppm silver equals 1 oz/ton and 19,000 ppb gold equals 0.55 oz/ton. CONCLUSONS A minerali consisting ed structure exists in the headwaters of Waldie Creek of a quartz porphyry filled, east-west fault in northerly striking Lower Cambrian quartzites. Historically this structure was a small gold producer and sampling of the hand sorted dumps confirms the presence of gold and minor silver mineralization. The old workings are at present inaccessible due to talus slumping in the portal areas. There appears to be two associated fault structures south of the main zone which have no record or evidence of any previous work. The property should be amenable to selected geochemical exploration and electromagnetic and magnetometer investigation. Historically high chalcopyrite areas and high pyrite areas have produced economic gold values. The chalcopyrite - gold relationship was not supported by current sampling. odx CONSULTXN' S LT).

PAGE: 11 RECOMMENDATONS A programme of Geological mapping, geochemical and geophysical exploration, followed by physical opening of the old adits and underground mapping and sampling is recommended. Geochemical sampling will be difficult to perform due to the generally heavy talus in the area. Close spaced sampling in any soil accessible areas in the three fault zones is recommended; it is expected samples can be collected. Stream sediment s'ampling should be conducted over the rest of the property. Geophysical sampling should be conducted on 10 meter stations with 15 meter line spacings. All stations should be tested usidg an EM-16 and a flux-gate magnetometer. Surface geological mapping should be conducted in conjunction with the above programmes. As second phase of physical work should consist of opening and retimbering both portals. t is expected that the tunnels will be in good condition after 40 or 50 feet of the portal is cleared. This work will facilitate systematic underground mapping and sampling. At this time contingency should be made for any follow-up work from Phase. t is expected this Phase 1 work should take 2-3 weeks; phase 1 work will be contingent on the results of Phase and should be initiated on the recommendation of a consulting geologist.
