5 2 CLAMS Diamnd drill hles 1 2 and are lcated in the sutheast quarter f Cedar Hles 4 5 and A 2 80 are lcated in the nrtheast quarter f Cedar GEOLOGY The Stanfield prperty is lcated in a large area f Precambrian sediments cmprising the Aldridge Crestn and Kitchener frm atins The Aldridge strata are chiefly argillite argillaceus quartz ite and quartzite with minr bands f siltstne Red weather J ing is cmmn and mst f the knwn mineral depsits East Ktenay regin ccur in this frmatin f the The verlying Crestn frmatin is cmpsed mainly f argillite argillaceus quartzite quartzite and sme interbeds f siltstne t is characterized by green purple and brwn weathering The Kitchener is a dlmitic frmatin with bands f argillite and quartzite with dark brwn weathering and rugh dg tth surface in places The general strike f the strata in the vicinity f the subject claims is nrthwest and the dip 10 t 30 degrees nrtheast N intrusives utcrp n the tw claims but there is a granitic C dyke a shrt distance t the east

7 3 A majr fault lies alng the east side f the Rcky Muntain Trench suth f and belw the drill sites Subsidiary crss faulting crsses Little Sand Creek sme distance abve the drilled area This and ther faults bring Crestn and Mississippian strata int cntact with the Aldridge T date all the sulphide mineralizatin knwn t ccur in the area ccurs in the Aldridge frmatin The 6 drill hles have penetrated upper and prbably middle Aldridge strata Within all rck types there are disseminatins fracture fillings very thin strata stringers quartz veins and quartz siderite veins carrying pyrite and pyrrhtite pyrite and limited blebs f galena alng with minr chalc This mineralizatin has been examined megascpically but n sectins have warranted sampling DAMOND DRLL PROGRAMME The cnductr zne indicated by grund Rnka 16 electrmagnetic survey is strng An anmalus zne was als detected with a magnetmeter survey f the area All the drill hles encuntered similar material mainly pyrite and pyrrhtite in stringers f quartz and quartz siderite and veins f the same cmpsitin frm a few millimetres t thirty centimetres thick Chalcpyrite and ccur as galena scattered specks and blebs Lgs and cst estimates are included with this reprt

9 4 J CONCLUSONS The 6 hles drilled in the lwer Little Sand Creek area f 4 Muntain during the 1979 seasn are vertical They penetrate Aldridge argillite argillaceus quartzite quartzite and siltstne The bedding is black t grey and banded thrughut except fr sme quartzite bands which vary frm light grey t almst black and cntain flakes f white mica Turbulent depsitin and crss bedding is cmmn Pyrite pyrrhtite minr chalcpyrite and islated blehs and specks f galena ccur thrughut the lengths f the hles Thin quartz and quartz siderite stringers and veins lie at many attitudes Fracture fillings strata veins as well as dissemina tins f sulphides ccur thrughut the strata They are in the range f a few millimetres t thirty centimetres in thickness t is cncluded that the near surface pyrite and pyrrhtite mineralizatin prvided the electrmagnetic and magnetic respnse The stratigraphic structural and mineralgical infrmatin acquired by the drilling will be crdinated with the planned acquisitin f additinal data frm the prperty and will be f assistance in the lng term prgrammes f explratin and develpment Respectfully submitted ALLEN GEOLOGCAL ENGNEERNG LMTED pero P Eng U West Vancuver B C Alfred R Allen May
