2 ADDRESS PHONE Office J, Level 2, 1139 Hay St. +61 (8) West Perth, WA, 6005 Australia ABN WEBSITE Market Annuncements Platfrm ASX: FNT 7 th Nvember 2016 EL Applicatin Lake Lavu Frntier Resurces Limited (Frntier) is pleased t annunce that it has applied fr an Explratin License (ELA 2477) cvering ~839 sq km f the sectins f Fergussn, Gdenugh and Sanara Islands, D Entrecasteaux Island grup, Milne Bay Prvince, Papua New Guinea. It is intended t reduce the area ASAP by 50% int 3 nncntiguus blcks (as required at the end f year 2). Expenditure cmmitted is K60,000 (~27,000) PA fr the first 2-year term. The D Entrecasteaux Islands are a relatively underexplred regin and will prvide (if /when granted) a new fcus fr Frntier, n a much lwer explratin cst regin with excellent higher grade epithermal gld mineralisatin prspectivity. Better access and cst effectiveness enhances ultimate future develpment ptential. Executive Chairman Peter McNeil cmmented, I am very familiar with the area, having wrked there since 1985 and the data and intellectual prperty is mine, hence it is prpsed that Explratin & Management Cnsultants Pty Ltd (f which I have an interest) will hld a 10% free carried interest in ELA2476, subject t sharehlder apprval (r reversin f ELA title). ELA 2477 cntains a large number f individual areas that are prspective fr epithermal gld mineralisatin. Frntier s aim is t discver a high-grade and/r high tnnage type epithermal gld depsit. Lcal epithermal depsits include the histric Misima and Waplu Mines, the Wdlark Gld Reserve and the Imwauna, Gameta and Sehulea Depsits, that demnstrate the regin has excellent gld mineralisatin ptential. Six main prject areas, 18 named prspect areas and ther stream sediment anmalies were identified, being: 1. Wasi Prject (Wasi, Filfilia, Ebadidi and Daigu Prspects - central Fergussn Island) 2. Blublu Prject (Yaheyahe =Blublu Nrth, Mtuya and Blublu Suth Prspects - Gdenugh Island) 3. Sanara Prject (Yaba Hill - Sanara Island) 4. Bwaiya Prject (Bwaiya, Bselewa, S Bselewa and Wiyumaga - nrth central Fergussn Island) 5. Kukuia Prject (Maygidi and Iauplu - SW Fergussn Island) 6. Guayasi, Kalkal and Kwaili (NW -central Fergussn Island) 7. Muneia Uranium (Nrth central castal Fergussn Island) Wasi Prspect Wasi was identified by anmalus pan cncentrate and silt fractin gld assays, including a maximum f 44.5 g/t gld pan cncentrate ( g/t Gld silt) and 12.0 g/t gld pan cncentrate (+1.28 g/t gld silt). Anmalus

gld and arsenic in -#80 stream sediments is suggestive f epithermal vein mineralisatin. Anmalus gld in Ridge and Spur sil samples ccur ver a 1.5 km 2 area and 15.6 g/t gld, 10 g/t gld and 0.88 g/t gld rck samples were cllected frm a quartz vein ver 120m interval in a creek. Grid based sil sampling subsequently demnstrated 3 majr, structurally discrete znes with multiple higher grade internal gld sectrs. The ttal anmalus area (>0.02 g/t gld) is abut ne and a half square kilmetres (1.5 km 2 ) and it is pen t the east ver an eight hundred metre (800m) interval.

The sil grid and gld anmalies are lcated at/suth f the nexus f three (3) majr crustal level structures (trending NE-SW, N-S and WNW-ESE), that prduce a triangular zne abut 1,500 metres per side. The sil anmaly envelpe has a WNW-SSE axis that is abut 1,200 metres lng and is between 1,000 metres wide at the NW end and 700m wide at the SE end. The higher grade internal znes hwever, have been interpreted t trend E-W t ENE. Filfilia The Filfilia prspect lies within the NE crridr f the Kukuia Lavu fault system, with recrded alluvial gld wrkings in the prspect area. A sil grid was established ver an area f 3.2km 2 and it demnstrated ne majr and 10 'satellite' gld anmalies frm epithermal mineralisatin assciated with a granitic intrusin. The gld in sil anmaly is abut 500 meters lng and 200 meters wide with a peak grade f 0.52 g/t gld. Minr magnetite skarn flats where bserved within the creek and this culd reflect skarn mineralisatin elsewhere in the district. The Filfilia Creek has pssible ht springs and sinters lcated within the vicinity. Acid sulphate alteratin is clearly visible within the strng argillised znes. Gld can als be precipitated within structures frmed by the mixing f rising vlatiles and xygenated circulating surficial waters. Ebadidi The Ebadidi sil grid demnstrated ten weakly anmalus and disjinted gld in sil samples n 300 meter spaced lines, ver a +2km strike length. The recnnaissance grid was designed t evaluate bth the strng RTP aermagnetic anmaly at the nrthern end f the grid and the length f a gephysical and structural anmaly n suthern margin f the Kukuia - Lavu Rift Zne. Yaheyahe Results frm bulldzer trenches at Yaheyahe (=Blublu Nrth) included 39m f 2.10 g/t gld including 6m f g/t gld (hrizntal zne), and 8m f 4.90 g/t gld including 4m f 6.14 g/t gld, (vertical zne), 4m f 5.05 g/t gld, 5m f g/t gld, and a flat sample carrying 5.60 g/t gld and the highest rck being g/t gld. Grid sil sampling fr the Yaheyahe Prspect was cmpleted alng with 8 shrt trenches. Sil sampling demnstrated gld anmalus sils ver a +1,000m strike length frm the SW t the NE and the limited hand trenching returned weighted assay averages t 14m f 2.99g/t gld and flat rcks assayed t g/t.

The best results were frm Trench 6 (58 metres lng) which was gld anmalus in 4 znes and included 14m f 2.99 g/t gld. Trench 2 was als gld anmalus with 2m f 3.68 g/t at the end f sampling and trench 4 cntained 2 znes f gld and was strngly anmalus at the start f the sampling with 2m f 2.11 g/t gld. 12 f 18 utcrps sampled (66%) were greater than detectin limit (>) and included 4.56 g/t, 1.83 g/t, 1.21 g/t and 0.22 g/t gld. In additin, 20 f 37 flat rck samples were abve detectin limit and included g/t, 5.63 g/t, 5.10 g/t, 4.96 g/t, 4.54 g/t, 0.62 g/t, 0.59 g/t, 0.58 g/t and 0.33 g/t. All samples were analysed fr gld nly. Gld mineralisatin is hsted in small disjinted/ffset breccia bdies (mst are 2-5m thick and apparently up t 20m in strike length) alng fliatin/schistsity within the metamrphic/gneissic rcks and there appears t be mre quartz vein breccia/ stckwrk within the area than previusly indicated. Gld is hsted in NE-SW and NW-SE trending structures. Late epithermal quartz stckwrk veining verprinting early silicificatin and brecciatin is evidence f episdic depsitin/ reactivatin. Phyllic t argillic alteratin is restricted t thin narrw alteratin hals within the crushed/sheared wallrck f these veins, reflecting the cmpact / brittle nature f the metamrphic hst rck. Mtuya The Mtuya Prspect is lcated between Blublu Nrth and Suth Prspects and cvers 4km x 1 km. Recnnaissance sampling returned 1.95 g/t gld in stream sediment and 1.78, 0.88 and 2.87 g/t gld in a rck flat samples. A single sil anmaly f g/t gld was nted. 5 rcks cntaining significant grades f gld including 1.26 g/t, 0.52 g/t, 0.35 g/t, 0.34 g/t and 0.30 g/t were assayed by Quintessential Resurces Ltd. The best f the 2 utcrp samples returned 0.08 g/t gld. The surce f the 78.4g/t gld flat sample appears t be siliceus breccia bdies n the hanging wall f the Waknai fault, that are similar in texture and appearance t thse fund at the Yaheyahe Prspect. Blublu Suth The Blublu Suth Prspect cvers an area f strng silicificatin where sampling prgrams returned results such as 3.53 and 3.24 g/t gld in pan-cncentrates, anmalus silt samples, rck flat sample f 1.17 g/t gld and the best trench sample f 5m f 1.06 g/t gld. A large number f samples cntained arsenic values greater than 1,000ppm t a maximum f 5,400ppm arsenic. Sanara Sanara Island is prspective fr a majr disseminated gld depsit, being underlain by strngly advanced argillic altered and lcally silicified Quaternary rhylitic t andesitic vlcanics with active ht springs in the eastern part f the island. The Yaba Hill hydrthermal breccia area has been gelgical mapped, bulldzer csteaned and had ne diamnd cre and fur rtary air blast hles drilled. Altered and sulphide bearing vlcanics and sme breccias were intersected in the trenches and the drill hles. The trench mapping suggests that the vlcanics becme increasingly altered and brecciated twards the suth with znes f chalcednic quartz veining and pyrite nted in ne trench. This area returned several intercepts averaging better than 0.1 g/t gld, the highest being 0.44 g/t gld ver 2.4m (ther areas returned less than this value). Petrlgy frm the drilling indicates an acid leach upper zne with a biling zne beneath cnducive fr gld mineralisatin. Refer t figures shwing details f the Sanara Island trenching, drilling and sampling. Bwaiya Initial recnnaissance flat sampling r e t u r n e d backgrund t 2.89 g/t gld and shwed ptential fr epithermal mineralisatin. Grid sil sampling

substantiated earlier ridge and spur sampling results with many sil samples > 0.05 g/t gld and a strng crrelatin with anmalus arsenic. Virtually all rck samples frm Bwaiya cntain greater than 100 ppm arsenic; the average fr 49 rck samples was 410 ppm arsenic. The alteratin present is described as cnsisting f silica flding, clay develpment and vuggy cckscmb quartz veins in vlcanics and granitic rcks. Fresh and partly xidized pyrite is abundant thrughut the altered vlcanics. Nearby brecciated ultramafics shw lcal znes f strng silicificatin with black paline silica and fine disseminated pyrite. Based n petrlgical studies, the felsic vlcanics and lder intrusives (granitic) are nted t have been subjected t at least tw phases f alteratin: (i) a high temperature, ptassic alteratin with peripheral p h y l l i c a n d p r p y l i t i c a l t e r a t i n, a n d ( ii) a l w temperature, epithermal argillic alteratin cnsisting f interlayered illitic clays + quartz + adularia + calcite, which has verprinted the higher temperature mineralgy. Gld mineralisatin ccurs in bth felsic vlcanics and intrusives and appears assciated with the later epithermal stage f alteratin. The first trenching f the Bwaiya Prspect demnstrated cnsistent, but generally weakly gld anmalus mineralisatin ver a +1,000m strike length (SW-NE). The lngest intercept was 66 metres grading 0.33g/t gld (T4) and the peak was 4 metres f 2.20g/t gld (T2). Trench assay highlights are nted belw: Trench 1-40 metres f 0.10g/t gld. Trench 2-58 metres f 0.30g/t gld. Trench 4-66 metres grading 0.33g/t gld Trench 5-36 metres grading 0.23g/t gld. Trench 9-34 metres grading 0.15g/t gld. Bwaiya River expsure - 14 metres grading 0.28g/t gld.

Wiumwana creek expsure - apprx. 15 metres grading 0.18g/t gld. The felsic vlcanics and lder granitic intrusives have been subjected t at least tw phases f alteratin: (i) a high temperature, ptassic alteratin with peripheral phyllic and prpylitic alteratin, and (ii) a lw temperature, epithermal argillic alteratin cnsisting f interlayered illitic clays + quartz + adularia + calcite, which has verprinted the higher temperature mineralgy. Gld mineralisatin ccurs in bth felsic vlcanics and intrusives and appears assciated with the later epithermal stage f alteratin. DETAILS Ess began systematic gld explratin in 1982 (PA 469 cvered the entire D Entrecasteaux Island grup). Lake Lavu ELA is prspective fr epithermal gld mineralisatin and the Cmpany s aim is t discver high-grade Gsawng style, high tnnage Misima type and epithermal gld depsits such as Wdlark, Imwauna, Waplu, Gameta and Sehulea. Descriptins f the prspects r gld/ txic element anmalus areas are included belw fllwing the discussin n pssible mineralisatin in the district and gelgy. Many areas /prspects have nly had cursry, fllw up explratin cmpleted and are very early stage, but several have als been bulldzer trenched r scut drilled with interesting results that require additinal explratin. A series f fairly self-explanatry plans are attached t this release t put the histric explratin results frm the ELA int cntext. The reader can cmpare the number f samples n plans t the results in the text etc. t get a self-determinatin f an area's 'prspectivity'. Nte that the ELA bundaries are nly pltted n plans 1, 2 and 3. The ther Plans are histric with tenement bundaries and may r may nt cincide with varius parts f the current EL bundaries. The current bundaries have nt been pltted n the varius histric plans. The reader is requested t crss reference between these plans t get a better appreciatin f the lcatins f the prspects and the sampling and evaluatin sequence that has ccurred in the D'Entrecasteaux Islands that has led t such widely distributed but under-explred gld mineralisatin.

Mineralisatin & Gelgy Fergussn, Gdenugh and Sanara are part f the D Entrecasteaux Islands in Milne Bay Prvince, and are situated east f the sutheast tip f mainland PNG. The islands are muntainus, rising t heights in excess f 2,000 metres and cnsist f steep dme shaped ranges. The gld ptential f these islands was nt significantly recgnised prir t 1982 with small alluvial gld wrkings nted in several places but n evaluatin r reprting undertaken n these ccurrences. The islands were recgnised as a new epithermal gld prvince with ptential t hst large Pleistcene t Recent gld depsits related t vlcanism, majr nrtheast trending rifts and west t nrth west trending, dme bunding fault znes and ultramafic rcks. The fur mst imprtant gld depsitinal znes are the Barrier Islands Rift / Graben, the Kukuia-Lavu Rift / Graben, the Oredi- Dei Dei Graben and the dme bunding faults that hst the Waplu Depsit n NW Fergussn and the Gameta Depsit n NE Fergussn. Structures which splay ff the main rift / graben bunding faults are als imprtant. The key t success is the suitable gld depsitinal hsts, including faults, dme bunding shears, ultramafic rcks and breccia znes f varius types. The mineralised styles recgnised as viable explratin targets include: gld assciated with active and fssil ht springs (epithermal gld), including gld in quartz stckwrk and breccia znes within vlcanics and altered basement gneiss. gld assciated with brad areas f silica / txic element alteratin within ultramafics (and vlcanics & metamrphics) assciated with graben bunding, decllement & crss-faults/ structures. Detachment related uranium depsits. Varius figures dcument the Sawalisu (Filfilia, Wasi and Daigu) Prspects in central Fergussn. Refer t these plans fr spatial lcatin and numbers f samples etc. Wasi Prspect Wasi was identified by anmalus pan cncentrate and silt fractin gld assays, including a maximum f 44.5 g/t gld pan cncentrate ( g/t Gld silt) and 12.0 g/t gld pan cncentrate (+1.28 g/t gld silt). Anmalus gld and arsenic in -#80 stream sediments is suggestive f epithermal vein mineralisatin. Anmalus gld in Ridge and Spur sil samples ccur ver a 1.5 km 2 area and 15.6 g/t gld, 10 g/t gld and 0.88 g/t gld rck samples were cllected frm a quartz vein ver 120m interval in a creek.

Grid based sil sampling at the Wasi Prspect demnstrated 3 majr, structurally discrete znes with multiple higher grade internal gld sectrs. Line cutting, recnnaissance mapping, rck chip sampling and traversing bserved silicificatin and minr epithermal quartz veining hsted in weathered grandirite n the tp f the hill. Several znes f structurally cntrlled, argillic alteratin with ccasinal epithermal quartz and minr sulphides were bserved assciated with the nrtheast trending structures. Abundant epithermal quartz flats were bserved scattered in lw lying creeks and gullies in the areas. Rck flats cllected displayed epithermal quartz veining within the hst plutnic grandirite. These all were surced frm nrth -west trending veins/dykes and eventually led t discvery f the highly silicified dirite utcrp at higher elevatins and prtraying the east-west trending ridgeline. The peak flat rck chip sample assayed 16.5 g/t gld, the peak utcrp channel assayed 0.96 g/t gld and strng evidence f epithermal textures was nted within the granitic hst, but frm limited samples. Wasi is lcated abut 4 t 5km ENE f the Filfilia Prspect, where explratin shwed anther excellent and chesive gld in sil anmaly. The Filfilia anmaly is quasi NE trending with an irregular shaped cre t five hundred metres (500m) lng and abut tw hundred metres (200m) wide, reinfrcing the excellent prspectivity f this unexplred and undrilled gld district. Three hundred and sixty-eight (368) sil samples were cllected n variable length, 200m spaced lines, designed t cver the regin f anmalus histric ridge and spur assays. Tw hundred and frty-three (243) f the sil assays were abve detectin limit (0.005 g/t gld), with frty-six (46) > 0.05 g/t gld including fifteen (15) 0.10 g/t gld and a peak f 0.69 g/t gld. Filfilia The Filfilia prspect lies within the NE crridr f the Kukuia Lavu fault system, which is evident as a magnetic lw situated in the central part f the Graben, with recrded alluvial gld wrkings in the prspect area. Histrical gld in pan cncentrate samples returned 43.90, 26.0 and 18.0 g/t gld with crrelating high arsenic, antimny and silver. The basement mica gneiss is the main cuntry rck that underlies the area. The Filfilia creek was mapped and minr silicified flats bearing <1% py was cllected. A heavily wrked alluvial site was mapped and visible gld was bserved as part f the sediment lad in the streambed. The creek basically trends nrtheast alng the Kukuia Lavu rift. A sil grid was established ver an area f 3.2km 2. A ttal f 625 samples were cllected f 616 sil samples and 9 rcks were cllected during the prgram. The Filfilia creek was mapped and minr silicified flats bearing <1% py was cllected. A heavily wrked alluvial site was mapped and visible gld was bserved as part f the

sediment lad in the streambed. The creek basically trends nrtheast alng the Kukuia Lavu rift. An intrusive grandirite- dirite dykes f ~10m was mapped which culd be the heat surce f gld bearing fluids which in turn gets entrapped within the highly fliated gneiss. Grid based sil sampling f the Filfilia Prspect successfully demnstrated ne majr and 10 'satellite' gld anmalies n the suthern margin f the Kukuia - Lavu Rift Zne n Fergussn Island. Epithermal mineralisatin is assciated with a granitic intrusin at Filfilia, in a regin with histric small scale alluvial gld prductin. The explratin defined a significant grid based gld in sil anmaly that is abut 500 meters lng and 200 meters wide with a peak grade f 0.52 g/t gld. The sampling targeted this area very well and the anmaly is well defined fr future wrk n six, 50 t 100-meter spaced grid lines. Mineralisatin is clearly seen as structurally cntrlled. The NE Kukuia Lavu rift and crss faulting allws fluid upflw and mineralisatin. The free gld within the creek culd have been surced frm the highly fliated gneiss and gld bearing quartz veins may parallel the fliatins. Minr magnetite skarn flats where bserved within the creek and this culd reflect skarn mineralisatin elsewhere in the district. The system at the Filfilia prspect reflects lw sulphidatin gld mineralisatin, with lw sulphide cntent. Filfilia Prspect was discvered by anmalus pan cncentrate samples within Filfilia Creek (43.9g/t gld) and at the junctin f Unawagluglu/ Libulibu creeks (26.7g/t gld). The prspect lies within the NE trending Kukuia Lavu graben which gives it an excellent address fr lcating epithermal style gld depsitin. A gechemical sil grid 1.7km x 1.5km was established ver the knwn inferred gld anmalus areas t test the surface gld distributin and ptential. A ttal f sixteen (16) crss-lines unevenly spaced at 50m t 400m intervals was established with a 1.7km lng baseline. All crss-lines were cut withut a slpe crrectin. Six hundred and sixteen (616) sil and nine (9) rck flat samples were cllected and analysed fr gld. The peak sil assay was 0.52 g/t gld. Tw hundred and frty-eight (248) f the sil assays were abve detectin limit (0.01 g/t gld), including twenty (20) samples 0.10 g/t gld and including seven (7) samples 0.20 g/t gld. A ttal f three hundred and sixty-eight (368) sil samples were belw the detectin limit f 0.01 g/t gld. A small grup f sil samples were analysed fr base + pathfinder elements t establish thse trends. Antimny is generally elevated alng with arsenic and this will be a useful vectr t mineralisatin when the remaining sils are assayed fr base metals. 10 Alteratin is bscured due t highly weathered scree and debris. Outcrps that were mapped prdmiantly displayed clay sericite alteratin then it prgressed int mderate silica clay sericite further dwnstream and appraching an area f dminant quartz flat rcks. Libulibu Creek is a current day gld panning site which has been heavily wrked by the lcal landwners. It is dminated by weathered fliated gneiss with fragmented quartz and grandirite flats. Gld ccurs as nuggets and this was prven by panning a small nugget in the creek. The Filfilia Prspect is lcated abut 14 km inland in the central part f Fergussn Island. The prspect area can be accessed by ft frm the nrth and suth casts and the regin can be supprted cst effectively by bat frm the Prvincial capital f Altau. Ebadidi The Ebadidi sil grid with a baseline line f 3km was, tgether with 10 shrt crss lines (375m 760m length), spaced at 300m apart. A ttal f 298 sil samples were cllected. The Ebadidi grid was tilted at a NE SW rientatin and sil sampling (gld nly) demnstrated ten weakly anmalus and disjinted gld in sil samples n 300 metre spaced lines ver a +2km strike length. The recnnaissance grid was designed t evaluate bth the strng RPT aermagnetic anmaly at the nrthern end f the grid and the length f a gephysical and structural anmaly n the suthern margin f the Kukuia - Lavu Rift Zne. Yaheyahe Yaheyahe (=Blublu Nrth), Mtuya and Blublu Suth Prspects are lcated n eastern Gdenugh Island. The Prspects are lcated in the suth-central fthills abut 6 kilmetres frm the nrth cast and is accessed by ft frm the cast. The regin is supprted cst effectively by bat. I cllected the rck n the right frm Yaheyahe in 1993 and it assayed clse t 1z/tnne gld. Mineralisatin ccurs in a similar gelgical envirnment t the Waplu Depsit (n NW Fergussn) and has been traced ver a strike length f 7 km. The prspects lie n the NW trending and NE dipping Waknai Fault. The ftwall rcks cnsist f leuccratic and amphiblitic gneiss while the hanging-wall rcks cnsist f sheared and brecciated ultramafics. Lcally, Pleistcene vlcanics verlie the hanging-wall ultramafics as d thick clluvium depsits which are shedding frm the ftwall gneisses. Cmbined brecciatin and silicificatin with variable pyritisatin f the ultramafics ccurs alng with anmalus gld, arsenic and mlybdenum values. Results frm bulldzer trenches at Yaheyahe (=Blublu Nrth) included 39m f 2.10 g/t gld including 6m f g/t gld (hrizntal zne), and 8m f 4.90 g/t gld including 4m f 6.14 g/t gld, (vertical zne), 4m f 5.05 g/t gld, 5m f g/t gld, and a flat sample carrying 5.60 g/t gld and the highest rck being g/t gld. Grid sil sampling fr the Yaheyahe Prspect was planned in tw stages. Stage 1 was t cmplete sampling f pririty 1 sectins f the nine crsslines plus the baseline while stage 2 was t sample extensins t selected sil lines (line 3,5,7&9) t the SE f the prspect. Unfrtunately, nly stage 1 sampling was cmpleted due t time cnstraints. A ttal f 278 sil samples at 25m spacing were cllected ttalling 6,925m f sampling. A ttal f 8 shrt trenches were cleared and sampled within the Yaheyahe prspect area. 11 samples were cllected during this prgram. Of these 54 samples were cllected frm Yaheyahe prspect area where histrical samples recrded a high f 15g/t gld while 59 samples were cllected frm Mtuya prspect area where a single histrical rck chip (? /c r flat) sample returned a peak value f 78g/t. Grid based sil sampling f the Yaheyahe Prspect demnstrated gld anmalus sils ver a +1,000m strike length frm the SW t the NE. Limited hand trenching was cmpleted and returned weighted assay averages t 14m f 2.99g/t gld and flat rcks assayed t g/t. A 0.75 sq km sil grid (apprx. 1,150 metres x 650 metres) was cmpleted at Yaheyahe, where histrical trenches and rck-chip sampling returned a peak value f 31 g/t gld. A ttal f 278 sil samples were cllected n 10 grid lines fr 6,925 linear metres f sampling. 125 samples were belw detectin limit; 27 samples were abve 0.05 g/t gld and 12 f thse samples cntained >0.1 g/t gld. Each sil line cntained an assay result(s) >0.1 g/t gld and the Baseline + Lines 3, 5 and 7 all had multiple anmalies that have been hand cntured. 204 metres f hand trenching was cmpleted where warranted /pssible at Yaheyahe in 8 trenches, with 102 x 2 metre cntinuus rck chip samples cllected. Late epithermal quartz stckwrk

veining verprinting early silicificatin and brecciatin is evidence f episdic depsitin/ reactivatin. Phyllic t argillic alteratin is restricted t thin narrw alteratin hals within the crushed/sheared wallrck f these veins, reflecting the cmpact / brittle nature f the metamrphic hst rck. It was nted that mre quartz vein material is lcated in the area t the NW f the main grid between lines 1,2,3 and 4. At the Mtuya Prspect, emphasis was placed n utcrp / flat sampling (59 cllected) plus gelgical mapping t cnfirm a gld anmalus flat sample that returned 78.4g/t. 57 flat and 2 utcrp samples were cllected. The Mtuya sampling had 32% f assays abve the analytical detectin limit with 5 rcks cntaining significant grades f gld including 1.26 g/t, 0.52 g/t, 0.35 g/t, 0.34 g/t and 0.30 g/t. The rcks are multiply brecciated and have epithermal quartz stckwrk veining that appears t verprint early silica flding, plus chalcednic (grey silica) quartz and pen, drusy, dgstth quartz veins in gssanus flats. N trenching was dne in this area and mst f the samples cllected are sulphide pr suggesting a structurally cntrlled lw sulphidatin gld- silver epithermal system. Bwaiya The Bwaiya Prspect is in nrth central Fergussn Island and is underlain by altered felsic vlcanics which prbably uncnfrmably verlie gneissic grandirite. Fresh andesitic vlcanics have als been mapped within the prspect area and ultramafics have been nted t the east and west f the immediate prspect area. Initial recnnaissance flat sampling r e t u r n e d backgrund t 2.89 g/t gld and shwed ptential fr epithermal mineralisatin. Grid sil sampling substantiated earlier ridge and spur sampling results with many sil samples > 0.05 g/t gld and a strng crrelatin with anmalus arsenic.

Five hundred and thirty-six metres f hand trenching and cntinuus chip channel sampling was cmpleted n the knwn gld /arsenic anmalies (with 85 cllected), plus utcrp rck /creek cntinuus chip channel (21 cllected) and utcrp rck chips (51 cllected). Samples were analysed nly fr gld and there is a very high level f anmalism (<4% f assays belw the detectin limit). Trench assay highlights are nted belw: Trench 1-40 metres f 0.10g/t gld (incl. 9 metres f 0.18g/t gld).

Wiumwana creek expsure - apprx. 15 metres grading 0.18g/t gld. The sil gechemical grid f arsenic-gld anmalies at Bwaiya prspect is likely t be hsted in a Dilatinal re envirnment. The nrtheast-suthwest Kukuia Lavu rift acts as the main cntrlling structure. The main set f faults bserved include the nrth-suth and east-west structures. This set f nrth-suth and eastwest structures are likely t be extensinal, tensinal/jg faults/fractures and veins. Area A. A nrthwest sutheast t nrth-suth trending structure intersects the majr nrtheast-suthwest cntrlling structures. This pssibly later stage crss cutting structure may have re-activated the tensinal fractures/veins and cntributed t the erratic arsenic-gld elngated sil anmalies. Trenches BT-01, BT-02,

BT-03, BT-04 and BT-05 and the disputed trenches nrth f the sil grid are in clse prximity t this interpreted cmplex structural intersectin zne. The permeable feldspar phyric Dirite als prvides a suitable lithlgical interface fr silica precipitatin and flding. The sil arsenic-gld anmalies, utcrp/alteratin mapping and pending trench results will prvide useful infrmatin n the prximity f the gld bearing vein. Area B. The surface arsenic-gld sil anmalies ccur in an area where the east-west faults terminate against the inferred nrth-east cntrlling structure. The area is a suitable structure-intrusin-mesthermal (jasperid altered felsic extrusive stck) target. Trenches BT-08-BT-09 and BT-10 are lcated within this area. Area C: The Omara inferred fault appears als t crss cut the east-west and nrth-suth faults. N trenching and scuting was undertaken due t disputes etc., hwever; the inferred structure and surface sil (gld+/-arsenic) anmalies appears similar t target Area A. The area will require detailed investigatin if the landwners allw explratin t prceed in the near future. Bwaiya Prspect is lcated 3.5 kilmetres frm the nrth cast in central-ne Fergussn Island. The prspect is accessed by ft frm the cast and the regin is supprted cst effectively by bat. Daigu Prspect This prspect is defined by a tw panned cncentrate stream samples f 1.89 and 2.67 g/t gld n the edge f a 2km x 1km vlcanic extrusive, evident in the airbrne magnetics image. Other pan cn samples were nt anmalus. Three stream sediment samples were cllected within the bundaries f this prspect. In tw f these, visible gld was panned and they assay 1.89 g/t gld and 2.67 g/t gld respectively. Kwaili The central nrthern area f Fergussn is still at an early stage f explratin. Lw density stream sediment sampling has been cmpleted ver mst f the area and defined the Bselewa, Suth Bselewa and Wiyumaga areas, hwever cnsiderable infill sampling is still required t adequately assess the area s ptential. Detachment related uranium is an additinal explratin target. Bselewa Fifteen rck flat samples shw high arsenic (t 1490 ppm) and antimny (t 100 ppm) values and ne anmalus gld value f 0.18 g/t gld. The prspect area is underlain by strngly fractured and weathered ultramafic. Lcally there are znes f chalcednic silicificatin which appear t have an east t nrth-east trend and are apparently related t fault structures. These silicified znes can carry 5 t 10% disseminated pyrite. Grandirite ccurs immediately suth f the prspect silicified znes. This prspect is prbably part f the same brad epithermal system as Bwaiya, with the hst being ultramafic rck rather than vlcanics. The high arsenic and antimny at surface suggests that the present surface is high in the epithermal system. Gld, if present, wuld ccur at an unknwn depth belw surface. Suth Bselewa This prspect is based n ne flat sample f altered felsic vlcanics which cntained g/t gld, 1400 ppm arsenic and 100ppm antimny. One stream sample taken upstream frm the flat recrded g/t gld. The reginal gelgy f the area is mapped as grandirite and gneissic grandirite with ultramafic xenliths, hwever the ccurrence f the altered and mineralized vlcanic flat indicates the presence f vlcanics in the area. Suth Bselewa is lcated abut 2 kilmetres suth f Bselewa prspect and tw kilmetres sutheast f the Bwaiya prspect. Wiyumaga Strngly anmalus arsenic, mercury and antimny cver 1km 2 f brecciated ultramafic with variable silicificatin, paline veining and pyrite-arsenpyrite mineralisatin. The structural preparatin, silicificatin, veining and high trace element gechemistry are all psitive indicatins fr a pssible gld zne at depth. Recnnaissance sampling returned lw stream sediment and lw panned cncentrate results, with g/t Gld and g/t Gld, respectively. Out f the 32 samples cllected, tw rcks

cntained appreciable gld with and g/t gld and 13 had ver 1,000 ppm arsenic (peak = 1.24%), between 50 and 181 ppm antimny and mercury t 17.4 ppm. Highest values frm 32 samples included and g/t gld. Trace element gechemistry (arsenic, mercury), veining and silicificatin indicate a pssible gld zne at depth. Maygidi This is a tw-sample anmaly n the western tip f the Kukuia Peninsula. A western drainage sample yielded a pan cncentrate value f 18.1 g/t gld. N utcrp r flat sampling appears t have been undertaken in this drainage. The eastern drainage sample yielded ppm frm the silt fractin and n pan cncentrate appears t have been cllected. N utcrp r flat sampling has been undertaken frm within the anmalus prtin f this drainage. A number f utcrp samples were cllected dwnstream frm the eastern prtin f the anmaly and all yielded less than g/t gld. Field investigatin f the tw creeks up-stream frm the anmalus values is required and sme ridge and spur sil sampling may be justified. The anmaly appears t be underlain by the cntact between intermediate (t basic) and acid vlcanics. Other Stream Sediment Anmalies A number f ther gld anmalies have been utlined by reginal stream sediment sampling. Sme f the anmalies have been fllwed up in part althugh all require further evaluatin t determine the surce f the gld. This will variusly invlve infill stream sediment sampling, ridge and spur sil sampling, detailed mapping and chip sampling. In sme areas bulldzer trenching, may be required. Of particular interest is the stream sediment anmaly in the nrthern part f central-fergussn where a flat sample cntained 5.10 g/t gld. The surce f this material has yet t be lcated.
