10 6. A student carries out an experiment to determine the resistance, R of constantan wires P and Q which have different lengths. Constantan is an ohmic conductor. The results of this experiment are shown in the graph of voltage,v against current, I in Diagram 6. The resistance, R of each wire can be determined from gradient of the graph. Diagram 9.1 and Diagram 9.2 show the situation of the boat at the upstream of a river and the downstream of the river. The density at the upstream is 1000 kg m -3 and the density of the water at the downstream of the river is 1020 kg m -3.
