3 GOLDEN PORPHYRTE LTD. 7 1 NTRODUCTON i) Location and Access The Nash 1-4 claims are situated on N.T.S. Sheet 821,/6W & 5E, centered roughly on 50" 18' N latitude, 119" 32' W longitude, approximately 20 km WNW of Vernon, B.C. The property is accessed from the southeast by an all-season gravel road which ascends the north side of Naswhito Creek. A paved road running along the north end of Okanagan Lake passes within 5 km of the property and intersects this road. ii) Property Definition The Nash Group consists of 4 contiguous mineral claims, Nash 1-4, totalling 80 claim units within the Vernon Mining District, B.C. The claims were staked February, 1983 and are currently owned and operated by Golden Porphyrite Ltd. of Vancouver, B.C. iii) Physioqraphy and Vegetation The property lies on the western margin of the Omineca geological belt of the Canadian Cordillera. The claim group runs along, and approximately parallel to the middle section of Naswhito Creek. The terrain is similar on both sides of the valley: fairly steep slopes near the creek, becoming more gentle into the uplands of the surrounding hills. Elevations range from m within the group.

5 GOLDEN PORPHYRTE LTD. 7 2 Vegetation is more dense and diverse on the north facinq slopes and here includes Douglas fir and cedar with lesser growths of larch, birch and pine. Schrubs such as juniper, boxwood, willow and Oregon grape are also common. The south facing slopes support good stands of pine for the most part, with varying amounts of underbrush and grasses. iv) Property History 1 1 Naswhito Creek has had a history of placer workings, with a total recorded production of over 1,622 oz gold. The source of this gold, however, was never located. Minor hardrock exploration was undertaken on a copper prospect in the vicinity but details are lacking. One gold occurrence, reported to be located within Nash 2, was not located.

6 GOLDEN PORPHYRTE LTD. 3 GEOCHEMCAL SURVEY Geochemical soil sampling was conducted using the constant contour method whereby soil from the " 3" horizon is collected at 50 meter intervals along a line of constant elevation. Once extracted the soil was described and sealed in a wet-strength kraft bag for analysis. The average sample depth was approximately 20 cm. Analysis for gold was conducted at Chemex Labs, 212 Brooksbank Avenue, North Vancouver, B.C. All samples were dried and ring ground to mesh. Five (5) gram portions were then ashed at 800" C for one hour, digested with aqua regia, twice to dryness and taken up in 25% HC1. Gold was then extracted as a bromide complex into Methyl s0 Butal Ketone and analyzed via atomic absorption with a 10 parts per billion detection limit. A total of 538 soil samples were taken from the property. n the process of mapping a total of 29 rock-chip samples were taken. These samples were analysed by Chemex Labs for gold and silver. As with the soils, all rocks were first ring ground to -100 mesh. Silver analysis required 1 gram portions of each sample to be digested in concentrate perchloric-nitric acid for approximately 2 hours. The digested sample was then cooled and made up to 25 ml with distilled water. The solution was then mix- ed and solids were allowed to settle. Silver concentration was then determined using corrected atomic absorption techniques with a detection limit of 0.1 parts per million. Analysis for gold was carried out as for soils. n addition to the above sampling, a total of 4 heavy sediment samples were also submitted for analysis. These samples were taken on various creeks draining the property, using accepted techniques. The samples were concentrated to approximately 0.5 kg and analyzed for gold and silver as for rock-chips. 7 GOLDEN PORPHYRTE LTD. 4 GEOLOGCAL SURVEY Property geology was mapped at a scale of 1:25,000 using elevation, topography and roads as controls. Havinq been glaciated during the Quaternary, the property is covered with a layer of till, maskinq most of the outcrop. Much of the mapping was therefore confined to road cuts. An area of 10 km was covered. The predominant unit encountered on the property was the Carboniferous and Triassic Thompson Assemblaqe, consisting of interbedded grey-beige limestone, calcareous argillite, conglomerate and chert with minor volcanics or volcanosediments. The sediments have a general strike direction of southeast with moderate dip to the northeast, for the most part. Much of the outcrop appeared to be altered and/or oxidized especially near shear zones which were locallized throughout the sequence. Secondary quartz veining parallel to bedding was exposed in road cuts within Nash 1. The second and youngest unit mapped on the property lay to the west and stratigraphically above the sediments. These qreen to red coloured flood basalts are believed to be part of the Upper Cretaceous-Oligocene Kamloops Group. The rocks were locally vesicular or brecciated. The contact between this unit and the sedi- ments, over which they lie, roughly followed the contour, indicating outflow over sub-horizontal strata. 10 GOLDEN PORPHYRTE LTD. 6 RESULTS AND NTERPRETATONS Of the 538 soil samples taken, none were considered anomalous, all being 20 ppb Au or less. These results are probably due to the cover of glacial material which blankets the valley and surrounding hills. Heavy sediment sampling on Naswhito Creek revealed two moderately anomalous values of 90 and 60 ppb Au, with the latter also containing 2.2 ppm Ag. The source of this gold was not located due to the limited nature of the program. Tributaries to the creek were dry at the time of sampling and thus were not adequately tested. Rock-chip sampling of outcrop exposed on the property revealed one slightly anomalous value of 40 ppb Au on the Nash 1 claim in a quartz rich sedimentary breccia.
