1 Report on the O. 52E89S*^ e77 WH.TEFISH BAY AND HA conducted on the property of Augnaitto Explorations Limited Whitefish Bay Area - Lake of the Woods Kenora Mining Division Ontario SUMMARY; Fifteen electromagnetic anomalies were outlined in the Harvey conducted by Augmifcto Explorations Limited. Three of the anomalies occur near the mutual boundary of the subject acreage and the adjoining property of Norlex Mines Limited. The anomalies are located in a geological environment considered favourable for economic mineral deposition. CONCLUSIONS: Anomalies VI, Y2, V3, Y4, V6, V7, V8 and V10 are diagnostic of those caused by sulphide mineralisation in the bedrock of the property. All these anomalies occur on the land portion of the property and depth of overburden over the anomalies is relatively shallow. Anomalie0 V5, V9, Vll, VU, V13, V14 and V15 are diagnostic of conductive shear zones. RECOMMENDATIONS: The following is recommended. l. That the property be geologically mapped in detail, as an aid to evakuue the merits of the anomalies outlined. Z. That trenching and/or diamond drilling be performed to investigate those anomalies not accounted for in the geological mapping. JPRQP&RTY; This property of Augmitto Explorations Limited consists of eighteen (18) contiguous surveyed mining claims numbered K to K inclusive. Area of the claim group is about 720 acres, of which about 30 acres cover the land beneath the waters oi Andrew Bay of the Lake of the Woods.

2 LOCATION. ACCESS. ETC. The claim group 10 located about 12 mi le a south of the town of Kenora, Ontario, It adjoins to the north the holdings of Norlex Mines Limited. Access la most readily achieved by either boat or aircraft from the town of Kenora. PROPERTY GEQLOQY; The property is underlain by a northwest ~ southeast trending sequence of basic and acid volcanic rocks, Structurally the property is located on a limb common to aa anticline-syncline structure of the area. The contact between the basic and acid volcanic rocks trends southeasterly t-hrough the southwest quarter of the property. The volcanic rocks lie to the north of the contact cone and form a greater portion of the rocks on the property. A basic intrusive body of gabbro 'peridotite composition has been mapped in the area very near the southwest corner of the property. Dip of the volcanic rocks is steep, to the north. SURVEYS: ElectromagR&fcic Survey. This survey was conducted using the McPhar 1000/5000 cycle equipment. This technique measures the inclination or dip of the resultant magnetic Held In degrees. A majority of the vertical loop anomalies was checked by a single or several survey traverses using Ronka horizontal loop equipment, Magnetic Survey e. The magnetic survey was conducted using the Sharps MF -i fluxgate magnetometer. Results of the magnetic and electromagnetic surveys are shown on the accompanying plan to the scale of one inch equals 200 ft. of Geophysical Survey Results Electromagnetic Survey this survey. 3 -3- A description as to length, width, strike and dip, magnetic correlation, conductivity and to possible cause of each is briefly discussed. Anomaly Vi. Lies near the souvh boundary of claim K-38208, the greater part of which extends into the adjoining property of No r lex Mines Limited. It is about 1800 feet in length} varies in width from 20 to 100 feet; strikes N-SO'W; direct magnetic correlation* good to excellent conductivity features. The cause of the anomaly is interpreted to be due to sulphide mineralization. Anomaly V2. Located immediately to the south of claim K This anomaly exhibits qualities attributed to sulphide mineralisation, Anomaly V3. Occurs in the south part of claim K and extends into the adjoining property of Norlex Mines limited. It is about 800 feet in length] varies in width from 10 to SO feet; strikes east-west; good magnetic correlation; fair to good conduct ivity qualities. The east part of the anomaly is interpreted to be caused by sulphide mineralisation. Anomaly V4. Lies entirely on claim K-38Z07. It is 1400 feet in length; varies in width from 50 to 200 feet; strikes east-west and possesses fair conductivity features There is only a slight magnetic response over the zone. Based strictly on conductivity characteristics, it is inter preted that the anomaly is caused by non-magnetic sulphide mineralization. Anomaly V5. This anomaly consists of two conductors arranged en echelon in plan and each about 500 feet in length. The conductors are situated on the flank of a magnetic linear. Conductivity of the causative body is poor to fair. It is narrow in width. It is interpreted to be caused by a shear zone containing a low percentage of sulphides. Anomaly V6. Strikes east-west and width appears to be about 30 feet. Length of the anomaly is about 700.feet. Conductivity is fair to good. There is no response over the zone. It is interpreted to be CAUIfd by non-magnetic sulphide mineralization in a shear zone. Anomaly V7 and V8. These anomalies are located on claim e K-382M and K They are 1400 and 800 feet in length respectively. Anomaly V8 lies to the north of V? and arranged en echelon in plan. They contd.,..,

4 -4- are aar row in width (about 10*20 feet) and show irregular low intensity magnetic correlation. Conductivity of each zone is fair to good. Zt i* interpreted that sulphides in a shear stone are probably the cause of these anomalies. Anomaly V9. This anomaly is about 1400 feet in length and narrow in width. There is no appreciable magnetic response over the zone. Because of conductivity features it is considered that this anomaly is due to a conductive shear zone. Anomaly VI Q. Lies east and a little north of V9. Zt is about 500 feet in length and narrow in width. Conductivity of the zone is fair. This anomaly is attributed to non-magnetic sulphide mine rail eatioa in a shear zone. Anomaly VIJL Is a low amplitude anomaly lying east and a little north of V10, Conductivity of the cone is poor. Cause of the anomaly is considered to be a conductive shear zones. Anomaly Via and V13, These anomalies lie in the southern parts of claims K and K Conductor V13 lies south and east of V12. Conductivity features of these anomalies are poor to fair and there is no appreciable response over the zones. These anomalies appear to be caused by conductive shear 2one s c Anomaly VI4. Occurs southeast of V6 and may be the faulted extension of it. There is no magnetic response over the aone and conductivity features are poor. Again, a shear zone appears to be the probable cause of this anomaly. Anomaly VI5. The anomaly could not be outlined in detail as it occurs in a large, wet, swampy area. Zt is situated on the flank of a magnetic anomaly. However, based on preliminary information, it appears that the conductor is due to either a shear aone or a shear zone containing some sulphide mineralization. Magnetic Survey The magnetic anomalies outlined are long, narrow linears varying in intensity of about S to 10 times background. Tfcwy v*ry lw \engtfe from several hundred feet up to 3000 feet. The most conspicuous magnetic closure occurs along the south boundary of the subject acreage and which, for the most part, lies on the adjoining property of No r lex Mines Limited. The better of the conductive zones are located within this magnetic feature.
