3 NTRODUC"flON Location The property herein described consists of two unpatented mining claims in Farr Township, Larder Lake Mining Division, Ontario, numbered L (4 units) and L (6 units). The claims lie just south of Hubert Lake and about 4 km west of highway 65. The town of Elk Lake lies about 10 km to the southeast. Access The property is accessible by an un-maintained gravel road leading west from Highway 65. The last km to the #1 shaft area from the north end of Moses Lake is only passable by A TV due to the overgrowth of alder and birch saplings since the last logging activity on the claims. A portion of this last km was cleaned up by the contractor as part of the work performed to allow ATV passage. History The only previous work recorded on the property was geological mapping done by Tormont ML in The geology map illustrates Nipissing diabase covering the creek valley with a narrow band of Huronian sediments near the east boundary, followed by granite gneiss of the Round Lake Batholith on and beyond the east boundary. The two shallow shafts on the property were probably sunk much earlier by prospectors working out of the Elk Lake camp. n 1963, Tormont mapped the property as part of a larger program exploring the area surrounding a copper/cobalt/silver occurrence immediately west of the property. The copper/cobalt/silver occurrence was first worked in 1909 by Sterling ML, then by Roy Silver ML in 1950, then by Tiara ML in 1961, then by Tormont ML in The occurrence is along a N-S fault in Nipissing diabase. Two shafts were sunk and a small amount of underground development was done, as well as both surface and underground diamond drilling. A small mill was erected and a small amount of concentrate was shipped to the refinery in Cobalt. Values were not economic at that time and the property remained dormant until recently when a local prospecting team performed stripping and sampling near the Roy Silver shaft. The property is presently held by Jkate Exploration and Michael Leahy.

4 GEOLOGY REGONAL GEOLOGY The Farr Township property lies within the Abitibi Greenstone Belt located in the southeastern portion of the Superior tectonic province. The Abitibi belt is the largest and most continuous greenstone belt in the Canadian Shield, extending some 700 km from east to west with a width of approximately 200 km and is of Archean age. t is bound to the east by the Grenville Front and to the west by the Kapuskasing Structure The belt consists of repetitive volcanic cycles ranging from ultramafic to felsic in composition. Clastic sediments are intercalated with the volcanic rocks, and in narrow fault bounded zones. Ultramafic to mafic intrusions as well as granitoid complexes exist. The dominant structural style of the belt reflects the presence of local granitoid bodies with concordant external structures, the east-west trending isoclinal folds of regional extent. The belt has been deformed into a major eastwest trending synclinorium that transects the central portion of the Ontario segment of the Abitibi belt. Within the southern part of the belt, many steeply dipping, east-west trending discontinuous shear zones of undetermined displacement have been identified. Two major breaks have been identified including the Porcupine-Destor and Larder Lake breaks. These breaks follow lithofacies boundaries for the most part, including sedimentary volcanic interfacies. Also structurally Significant is the Temiskaming Rift system of late parallel northwest-trending faults. Farr Township lies at the southern edge of the Round Lake Batholith, adjacent to the Montreal River Fault which is a major regional structure of the Temiskaming Rift system. Major mineral deposits associated with the Montreal River Fault include Cobalt, Elk Lake, Matachewan, Timmins and Kidd Creek. The Round Lake Batholith falls along the northern margin of the Cobalt embayment characterized by Huronian sediments unconformably overlying Archean volcanics and sediments, all intruded by a vast, undulating sill of Nipissing diabase. The majority of the mineral deposits in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt are Archean age, with the notable exception of the Proterozoic silver deposits in the Cobalt embayment. Recently, intrusions of hydrothermal iron oxide/copper/gold/uranium mineralization into Proterozoic Huronian sediments and Nipissing diabase have been recognized in the Matachewan and Elk Lake areas. The recognition of this (OCG) deposit model has spurred renewed exploration of occurrences that were

5 previously classified as "vein type" or other misnomer. The 10CG model is closely associated with rift systems and granitic intrusions, both represented in the area. PROPERTY GEOLOGY The property is entirely underlain by a north trending tongue of Nipissing Diabase about 2 km wide intruding Huronian sediments and bound to the east by the Round Lake Batholith. A strong N-S fault traverses the centre of the property, with a high escarpment on the west side of the creek measuring about 70 m above the valley floor. The diabase is fine grained, gray quartz diabase with lathshaped plagioclase crystals of labradorite composition in a pyroxene ground mass. The diabase is fractured in several directions with a 320 degree trend predominant in the #1 shaft area. Late hydrothermal activity has resulted in some of the fractures being filled with coarse crystalline specular hematite with Significant copper, silver and gold values. STRPPNG AND SAMPLNG PROGRAM On September Sth, 2007, a program of stripping and sampling was commenced on the property. The #1 shaft where the stripping was done is located on mining claim # L at E, N (UTM Zone 17, NAD 83). The # 2 post of claim # L is approximately 100m S+1S0m E of the shaft. An area of approximately 400 sq m was stripped to bedrock and the exposed veins were then hand stripped and washed. The excavator was a Kobelco 209 operated by Bear Creek Equipment Limited. The #2 shaft lies about 200m south of the #1 shaft. The #2 shaft area was not included in the present work program. RESULTS OF STRPPNG AND SAMPLNG PROGRAM The stripping program succeeded in exposing about 40 m of the targeted shaft vein. The fracture filling vein strikes at about 320 degrees with some minor undulations. The dip of the vein varies from 80 to 65 degrees NE, except at the south end where the dip changes to about 60 degrees SW. The width of the vein varies from 2 to 10 cm. Vein material consists of mostly specular hematite, with varying amounts of quartz, calcite, chalcopyrite, malachite silver and gold. A second vein joins the shaft vein about 13 m SE of the shaft. This second vein strikes at 40 degrees, dips at 85 degrees and is about 2cm wide. t contains similar mineralization to the shaft vein. Three samples of vein material were assayed for Au, Ag and Cu and one sample was assayed for Au only. The samples returned highly anomalous gold values ( up to 2.67 grams/ton) and high values of copper ( up to 8.4%)and silver ( up to 9.72 ounces/ton). t is interesting to note that the sample with the highest silver values yielded the lowest copper and the sample with the highest copper values yielded the lowest

6 silver. Although these samples represent the content of a narrow vein, there is the possibility that greater widths of similar material might be encountered in nearby structures, particularly along the N-S structure beneath the creek. SAMPLE # AU OZTON AU GTON AG OZTON CU% F CONCLUSONS AND RECOMMENDATONS The exposure of the shaft vein confirms the presence of fracture filling veins containing iron oxide (hematite), copper (chalcopyrite, malachite) silver and gold in Nipissing diabase. This showing is one more piece of evidence pointing to the presence of widespread Proterozoic OCG mineralization in the Matachewan/Elk Lake areas. The vein strikes at 320 degrees toward a strong NS break that follows the creek running north toward Hubert Lake. This NS break, in turn, is oblique to the Montreal River Fault. This tectonic setting is ideal for the emplacement of OCG mineralization as seen in Yarrow Township (Temex option) and elsewhere. The NS fault running south of Hubert Lake has the potential to host similar mineralization, perhaps across greater widths. There is also the potential for the presence of mineralization at the contact between the Nipissing diabase and the underlying rocks of the Round Lake Batholith. A deep-penetrating EM survey is recommended across the property to identify targets for drilling at a later date.
