New Polar Dataset: Proba-V Antarctic acquisitions By request from the user community, Proba-V satellite to acquire images over Antarctica from November 2017 to February km, 300 m and 100 m products will be processed up to L2A and provided in a polar stereographic projection. Products will be made available online through the regular product distribution portal and the Proba-V Mission Exploitation Platform (MEP). An announcement will be made when these products are available to download. In the figure below, the small image on the left shows the planned orbit acquisitions to capture the total land mass of Antarctica in 1 km or 300 m resolution. The image on the right shows the result of a seamless mosaic of these orbits, projected and cropped to the land borders.
