3 e EXPLORATON COMNCO LTD. ASSESSMENT REPORT WESTERN DSTRCT GEOPHYSCAL SURVEYS ON THE WEE PROPERTY SUMMARY The claims cover a prominent aeromagnetic high, 70 km north of Prince George. The area is mostly covered by glacial and glaciofluvial sediments, with the limited outcrops present thought to belong to the Mesozoic Takla group. P surveys outlined three chargeability anomalies. The largest one measures 2 by 1 km. All anomalies are in areas totally covered by overburden. 1 NTRODUCTON The property is situated on the Nechako Plateau (see Figures 1 and 2) just south of Weedon Lake, 70 km north of Prince George and 30 km west of Bear Lake, a small community on the Hart Highway. The Davie-Weedon Road, a major logging road, bisects the property and connects with the Hart Eighway at Bear Lake. The claims (46 sq. km), staked in March, August and October, 1989, cover a large aeromagnetic anomaly, similar in shape and size to anomalies associated with alkaline copper-gold deposits such as Copper Mountain, Mount Polley and Mt. Milligan. Widely spaced P/rnag surveys were done in September, 1989 and a large chargeability anomaly was detected. This year's surveys detailed this high with 200 m spaced lines. n addition two 500 m spaced lines were su$eyed west of the 1989 coverage. The surveys were carried out from May 8 to May 24, 1990 by Scott Geophysics Ltd., a geophysical contractor from Vancouver4 During the exploration work, crews were lodged at Bear Lake and commuted daily by truck, to the property. The project was planned and supervised by A.M.Pauwels, B.Sc., Senior Geologist. 11 PREVOUS EXPLORATON Work on the property in 1989 consisted of prospecting, soil sampling, geological mapping and P/mag surveys. The P/mag survey was reported in assessment in'early No record of any previous exploration could be found for the area of the claims. Expenditures totalled $23,530.22; the details are in Appendix. v AREA GEOLOGY The claims are largely covered by glacial till and glaciofluvial gravels and silts, though some outcrops are present on the Wee 2 and 3 claims and consist of andesitic volcanic rocks intruded by granodiorite. These rocks are thought to belong to the Upper Triassic to lower Jurassic Takla group. V GEOPHYSCAL SURVEYS During the period May 8-14 and 19-24, 1990, induced polarization and magnetometer surveys were conducted over the Wee claims. The work was done by Scott Geophysics Ltd. on behalf of Cominco Ltd. A total of 33 kilometers of P/mag, involving 14 lines with a nominal line spacing ranging from 200 m to 500 m were completed. Equipment and Procedures 0 A Scintrex PR-11 time domain receiver and a Scintrex 2.5kw PC-7 transmitter were used for the P survey. A 2-second alternating square wave was output at the transmitter, and the decay of that signal during the off time was meadured at the receiver. The receiver recorded chargeabilities for 10 time slices (MO-M9), as well as the primary voltage (Vp) and self potential (SP) for each of 4 potential electrode pairs at each station. A Geometrics G816 total field proton precession magnetometer was used for the magnetometer survey, with a Geometrics G836 total field proton precession magnetometer as the base station, which was set up at the P transmitter site. Both magnetometers were read during moves of the P array, ie. when the transmitter was off. All survey data was archived, processed, and plotted using a Toshiba 1200 microcomputer, using Scintrex Soft 11, GS, and proprietary software. The survey was done in a reconnaissance fashion with a pole-dipole array configuration utilized for the P survey. Readings were taken at an 'a' spacing of 25 metres for N=l, 2, and at an 'a' spacing of 100 metres for N=1,2. The station interval was generally 100 metres, though a 50 metre interval was utlized over chargeability highs. Total field magnetometer measurements were taken at 25 metre intervals and were corrected for diurnal drift with reference to a fixed base station.

7 Wee Assessment Report page 3 Presentation of Data The P data is presented as pseudo-sections (Figures 4a.b) and contour plans of chargeability (Fig. 5) and apparent resistivity (Fig. 6). The pseudo-sections are presented at a scale of 1:5,000 for each of the survey lines, incorporating the N=1,2 chargeability and calculated resistivity data from both the 25 and 100 metre 'a' spacings. The chargeability values plotted on the pseudo-sections and contour plans are those from the eighth slice (.M7-690 to 1050 milliseconds after shutoff, with a midpoint of 870 milliseconds). As indicated on the pseudo-sections, the current electrode positions are north of the receiving electrodes. The contour plan maps of chargeability and apparent resistivity for N=2 a=100m, are plotted at a scale of 1:10,000 with contour intervals of 10 mv/v and 100 ohm-metres respectively. For this property, chargeabilities from mv/v are considered weakly anomalous, from mv/v are moderately anomalous, and greater than 30 mv/v strongly anoma 1 ous. The corrected total field magnetic data is presented at a scale of 1:10,000 as a contour plan map (Fig. 71, with a contour interval of 500 nt. Discussion of Results 0 The P surveys outlined 3 weak to moderate chargeability anomalies, a magnetic high was also documented. The largest f anomaly extends from the westernmost line, L2300W across to L-200W, a distance of 2.1 kilometers, and is open to the southwest. This large anomaly has generally weakly anomalous values. Values over 20 mv/v are found on lines 400 and 800W. The anomaly has a northeasterly strike and appears to cover 2 by 1 km. A second, smaller P high occurs from lines 1600E to 500E. Most values are weakly anomalous. Maximum values, up to 21.8 mv were found on lines 1000 an 1200E. n contrast with the large P high this anomaly trends northwesterly and covers 1.4 by 0.3 km. A third f high is found over 400 m in the northern part of line 1800W. All value6 are weakly anomalous. Resistivities associated with these anomalies are generally low. Many values are below 100 ohm-m over the largest P anomaly and are slightly higher ( ohm-m) over the second anomaly. Given the na.rrow range of the resistivity values trends are only vaguely discernable. A poorly defined northeasterly resistivity trend corresponds to the northeasterly trending, large P anomaly. 0 The total field magnetics outline some distinct magnetic trends. A magnetic high with values up to 61,600 nt above a background of 58,500 nt is centred on 800W 1500s. This high trends northwesterly, west of 800W and trends east-west to the East of line 800 W. Chargeability and magnetic trends are not coinciding although part of the large P high occurs over the centre of the magnetic anomaly. The total lack of outcrop over the surveyed area precludes any direct correlation between geophysical results and geological

8 Nee Assesslent Report page 4 causes. L Nevertheless the P highs could be caused by hydrothermally altered rocks associated with porphyry copper mineralization. Other causes could be sulphide rich sedimentary rocks. V1 CONCLUSONS AND RECOMMENDATONS The P anomalies on the W e e claims could be caused by mineralization and/or alteration associated with the porphyry-cu environment. n view of the complete overburden cover drilling two widely spaced holes is recommended.
