Copper deposits jilst t3 the west of the claims are associated wlrn rhe hanging wall of the Falorama-Grotto t-irllst fault. The claims are -within the Horsethief Creek Group which consists of arqillites, grits and pebble conglomerates. The?ara&se deposit, PblhglZn, is lccated apfroxiaately 3 kilometers west of the claim group ani is a replacement rype deposit within the Mt. n elson Formation directiy below the Toby Cccgicmerate. -6-

9 (Ai Speciiications The self-potential is conducted by measuring the natural voltage between the survey stations usiq rc?pclarisi:g copter sulphate electrodes. The voltage is measured by a high input impede-.x voltmeter capable of measuring in it!ii;ivo~ts. The station interval used for the work was 20 meters~with a line separation of 60 meters. The field method is well described by Burr with the theoretical problems described Sy Carry. The survey was ccnducted using a log reel of wire, (,2CC meters:, with all readings referenced to a single base station. 4 total of 5.9C kilometers were sur-<eyed. The results are presented as a contour map, Figure 3, at a contour interval of 20 millivolts. The results of the survey show a range of approxinately 80 millivo;ts In amplitude above backgrcund. The general trend appears to be similar to the regional structural direction with the most significant anomaly iocated at the western limits of the survey grid. -7-

Intense fa.dlting in similar rocks near Horsethief Creek have produced distinctive negative nagnerlc anomalies. Similar faulting aiong the axis of The Mt.
