3 - NTROD CTclN Thr report concerns three 2 post clams and one 5 unt clam 8djonng as followst DUS #l-3 Record Numbers 454*456 expry date Aprl 2 82 DSSS 5 unt8 Record Number 728 expry date August 24 / 82 These are grouped clams, The clams are stuated approxmately 2 klometres North-west of the vllage of Rock Creek,They are ntersected by Hghway \the South, by Hghway #33 and the Kettle Rver on the East and by Hulms Creek Road on the West. Physcal acces8 s avalable to the clams from both hghways and from Hulme Creek Road, %e property s stuated on the Western slope of the Kettle Yalley watcbrehed and vares n elevaton from 60 metres to 220 metres above sea level. The clam are boaated on prvately owned farm and range land, A porton of ths land was apprased n 979 at a value of $ per acre. The land s l htly tmbered wth Douglas-Fr and Ponderosa Pne and showu heav cf er growth to the West of Hulme Creek Road, Snowfall n the area s usually lght and the property s therefore accessble throughout the year. There are two creeks on the property and one of them has water for part of the year, The only relable source of water for mnfg purposes s the Kettle Rver,

The aesay results of the samples taken n the exposed zone of 8erpentnzed rock as shown n Appendx #, show the ccurrence of Nckel, Cobalt and Slver, Ol samplng over a wde area, as shown on the prospectng &ap was undertaken to determne whether or not there are, aufhcent values of Slver ore t o warrant exploraton on that account, The results as shown n Appendx #2, are encouragng and warrant the carryng out of a more detaled program of sol samplng n two areas of the clams, Ths work s the next planned phase of the program, R qrj pectfully submtted, J-.
