34 ISSUES Issues related to MoRTH 1) Approval & Sanction of DPR for construction of 4-lane bridge parallel to existing Vikramshila Setu and declaration of Bhagalpur Navgachia as new NH. 2) Bidding of Phulaut Bridge over river Koshi on NH-106 to be done. 3) New bridge parallel to MG Setu, Patna be sanctioned soon. 4) Work of MG Setu is very slow. Erection work be started soon. 5) Munger Bhagalpur Mirzachouki Section of NH-80 has been entrusted to NHAI & DPR on Green field alignment is under process. Maintenance of existing NH-80 be done by MoRTH as this stretch is very important & lifeline of this area. Estimates submitted for different stretches should be approved at the earliest. 6) Revision of estimate of NH-82 Gaya Biharsharif is pending. 7) Balance portion of NH-30, from Mithapur to Anisabad in Patna be taken over by NHAI for maintenance. 8) Approval of LA proposal of 155 m in Bhagalpur bypass and proposal of RE wall to be approved.

35 Issues related to MoRTH ISSUES 9) Elevated corridor at Rajgir on NH-82 may be considered for approval. 10) Annual Action Plan ( ) submitted by State Govt. needs approval of MORT&H. 11) 14 nos. of PR works to be tendered - pending for clarity on DLP. 12) LA & Supervision charges (i) Administrative Cost for LA to be reduced to 2.5% (ii) (iii) Undisbursed amount of compensation may be permitted to deposit in LARR Authority. Supervision charges for electrical utility shifting to be reduced to 2.5%.

Major findings: i Kms of OPRMC road crust were found maintained out of 8039 Kms. (93.4% of road length) ii. Total 568 pots were found in rest 530 Kms of the stretch pots/km] iii. In 75 % road stretch, shoulder condition was found satisfactory. iv. Other parameters such as Road safety, Drain clearance/ Culvert maintenance requires more attention. Contractors and Work Divisions identified where performance of OPRMC was found unsatisfactory, department has initiated action against such Contractors and Engineers.
