4 Summary This report outlines the 1St and 2nd year assessment of the Nipper's Harbour properties on 7 exploration licenses (017973M, M, M, M, M and M), which composed 38 claims in total in NTS Area 2E/13, Held by two individual prospectors David Hicks and Darrin Hicks, the 7 exploration licenses were optioned in May 2011 to Newmet Resources Inc., a wholly-owned company of Sichuan Xinye Investment Corporation of Mining and Exploration, Sichuan Province, China. These properties are located within the Betts Cove Complex on the Baie Verte Peninsula. They lie to the east of the Baie Verte Line, within the Dunnage Technostratigraphic Zone, This year's exploration program primarily includes: previous work reviewing, geological background investigation, Cu/Au showings checking, lithologic tracing and rock sampling. Based on the above work, we recommend [P geophysical survey and drilling for next year's exploration plan. Introduction Nippers Harbour properties are located on the east coast of the Baie Verte Peninsula in the Province of Newfoundland & Labrador (Fig. 1). They consist of a contiguous group of 38 claims in total in NTS Area 2E/13 (Fig. 2), and are covered by 7 exploration licenses (017973M, M, M, M, M and M). Held by two individual prospectors David Hicks and Damn Hicks, the 7 exploration licenses were optioned in May 2011 to Newmet Resources Inc., a wholly-owned company of Sichuan Xinye Investment Corporation of Mining and Exploration, Sichuan Province, China. 5 Fig. 2 Claims of Nippers Harbour properties Location and Access Access to the properties covered by the above 7 licenses is via Highway #415, which runs from the La Scie Highway #414 to the town of Nippers Harbour, 17km to the south (Fig. 1). Physiography and Vegetation The northern part of this area is a rugged plateau with numerous small, rounded to steep-sided hills and dotted with small ponds and boggy area. Soil development is poor, except in valleys. There one can expect to find birch, spruce, alders and scrub. Relief is in the order of 150m, The area to the south is a barren marine landscape, with relief in the area of 150m. Hillsides range from sheer to talus covered slopes. Geology Regional Geology The Baie Verte Peninsula is located at the northern end of the Appalachian Orogen. It is divided into two separate lithologies by a structural zone referred to as the Baie Verte Line (Fig. 3). Rocks to the west of the Baie Verte Line belong to the Fleur de Lys Belt. This belt is part of the Humber Tectonostratigraphic Zone of Williams et al. (1988) and comprises a sequence of polydeformed Neoproterozoic to Early Ordovician schists and gneisses considered to represent the eastern margin of Laurentia (Evans, 1999). The Rocks to the east of the Baie Verte Line belong to the Baie Verte Belt, which is part of the Dunnage Tectonostratigraphic Zone. This belt consists of four main lithic elements: i) Cambro-Ordovician ophiolitic sequences of the Advocate, Point Rousse and Betts Cove complexes and the Pacquet Harbour 4

6 Group; ii) Ordovician volcanic cover sequences of the Flat Water Pond and Snooks Arm groups and parts of the Advocate and Point Rousse complexes and the Pacquet Harbour Group; iii) Silurian terrestrial volcanic and sedimentary rocks of the MicMac Lake and Cape St. John groups and the King Point Complex, which unconformably overlie the Ordovician sequences; and iv) Siluro-Devonian intrusive rocks (Evans, 1999). d urrr1l U V, 1' ni uk / I I le I 1 / rr ' r ) rn.., / / \ i / / c / / I / k / / (I I / / ( \ ' ) f I L /.0W / f. Ophiolitic rocks are lined, ultramafic rocks are lined and strippled. Unit 2 is the Fleur de Lys Supergroup. Unit 4 is the Pacquet Harbour Group (From Wallace J. and Wesa, G. L., 1988). Local Geology Nippers Harbour properties are underlain by two stratigraphic sequences: Nippers Harbour Group and the Cape St. John Group. The Nippers Harbour Group (Betts Cove ophiolite) is primarily composed of serpentinized peridotite and amphibolitized pyroxenite, mafic volcanic rocks, sheeted diabase dykes and felsic intrusive rocks. This unit is exposed along a NE-SW trend from northeast of Nippers Harbour to Stocking Harbour. Unconformably overlying the Betts Cove Ophiolite are upper 5

7 members of the Cape St. John Group, a sequence of dominantly subaerial volcanic rocks which outcrop in a narrow northeast trending belt. The main rock types are intermediate to felsic tuffs and flows and quartz feldspar crystal tuffs. The two assemblages are intruded by a large intrusion called the Cape Brule Porphyry. This intrusive extends from Greenwood Pond and Father Sheehan Pond in the north to the west side of Pine Pond and south to Harbour Point at Nippers Harbour. It also extends in a narrow continuous porphyry dyke-like zone. The area west of Pine Pond is underlain by the sheeted diabase dyke complex and gabbro which are cut by numerous linears, shear zones, and close-spaced micro-shear swarms. Shear zones are locally characterized by quartz-carbonate alteration and intense silicification. The west side of the Pine Pond is characterized by intense shearing with quartz, carbonate, epidote and ankerite alteration. Previous Work: Base metal occurrences were discovered in the Nippers Harbour area in 19th century, and gold (0.42oz/t Au) was first reported in 1940 at the Burtons Pond Prospect (Varna Gold Inc., 1989). Between 1966 and 1975, Advocate Mine Ltd (1967) and Rambler Mines Ltd. (Collins, 1975) located additional base metal and gold occurrences. Since then, various exploration companies have carried out exploration programs at this area. Following is a brief description on the previous work : Advocate Mine Ltd, carried out base metal exploration in the Nipper's Harbour area. Their work involved geological mapping, geochemical, magnetic and EM surveys, and diamond drilling. This diamond drilling involves 7 drill holes (totalling 1023rn) aimed at testing the Nipper's Harbour No. 1 and the Nipper's Harbour Road (Gold Pond) base metal prospects. The 7 drill holes logging shows that pyrite is common in veinlets or disseminated even at 200m depth (Advocate Mines Ltd, 1967). Due to thawing of the ice, the drill rig toppled over. However, the core retrieved was said to have been pure ore (Mark Hollett, 2007). 1975: Consolidated Rambler Mines Ltd (Collins, 1975) did 111 channel and trench samples, along and across strike of a narrow sulphide showing exposed along a road cut, but failed to indicate strengthening of the mineralization zone. 1975: The VLF EM survey failed to reveal any anomalies in the vicinity of the altered rocks associated with the Nippers Harbour No. 1 prospect (Weick, 1996). 1987: A total of 201 soil/till samples were collected over the Nippers Harbour area. In general, the geochemical results were disappointing in that gold values relatively low with few anomalies being discovered (Wallace and Wesa, 1988). 1989: Six diamond drilling were designed, but 3 were abandoned due to blocky ground and severe caving. In each of these abandoned holes, highly broken core made it impossible to drill beyond 5_100. For the three holes drilled, the depths were respectively 40, 60, and 40 metres, and recovery was poor (French, 1989). 1994: Onyx Resources completed a soil survey along two north-south trending lines on the west and east shorelines of Pine Pond. The contents of soils collected east of Pine Pond were consistently above 50 ppb, with spot anomalies of 102 ppb, 104 6

8 ppb and 159 ppb Au (Weick, 1996) 1995: Onyx Resources completed detailed mapping, and rock and soil geochemical surveys over the Pine Pond prospect (Weick, 1996) 1997: Three drill holes (NHG-97-O1, NHG and NHG-97-03) were carried out to test mineralization in No. 1 Prospect of Nippers Harbour. Despite high Au and Cu values on the surface sampling, these drill holes failed to reveal any economically significant mineralization at depth (Smith, 1997). 1998: Magnetic, VLF-EM, and Pulse EM surveys were carried out over the Nippers Harbour property Grid construction was contracted out to lonex Ltd, of Springdale. Geophysical surveying was performed by Horizon Geophysics, of Langley, B.C. during March, 1998 (Jacobs, 1998). 2005: Four trenches were excavated to test continuity of the mineralization or orientation of quartz veins. After 52 days' field work, Edward Martin suggested as follows: Further work is also necessary to determine the extent of mineralization found during the 2003 exploration season. All anomalous areas should be investigated to determine whether or not the mineralization is continuous. That is, the focus should be placed on examining potential anomalous zones of mineralization, rather than focusing on each individual anomalous sample (Harris, 2005). The 2011 Exploration Program We conducted field investigation on Nippers Harbour properties between Sep. 28 and Nov. 4, In total, 35 rock and ore samples were assayed by Eastern Analytical Limited, as attached in Appendix II. We mainly did the following: Investigated 50 Cu/Au showings (See Fig. 4 and Table 1). Petrographic study. On-site cross section survey (Fig. 5). Traced lithology and mineralization extension. Reviewed previous work especially 13 drill holes. Visited mineralisation of surrounding areas such as Rambler, Tilt Cove, Cabot and La Scie. 7

12 Presence of 50 Cu/Au showings and many high-grade copper (>2% Cu) or gold (up to ISOppm Au) assay resuists demonstrate productive and intensified Cu/Au mineralization within the properties. The abundance and variety of mineral occurrences of Baie Verte and its 9 mines developped so far (Vans, 1999) further strenthens the above conclusion. Despite several decades' exploration, no primary ore bodies have been defined in Nippers Harbour area. Although 13 drill holes have been conducted, none of these drill holes were considered successful as either no samples were assayed as the 7 drill holes in 1966, or the drilling was too shallow to be able to hit the ore body inferred from the surface observation (see Fig. 5). 13 Conclusion and Recommendation Au and Cu mineralization is abundant throughout the exploration properties. Many high-grade Au and Cu showings demonstrate ever-existed high-intensity ore-forming activities. All these lead to the conclusion that significant Cu/Au ore bodies may occur at this area. This is confirmed by many previous studies. For example, at the hill top of Nipper's Harbour, Mr. Martin found a small section of cut core comprised of quartz & pyrite (assay shows 84g/t Au). A drill hole had the drill rig topple over due to the thawing of the ice. The core retrieved was said to be pure ore (massif sulphide, Hollett, 2007). Despite exploration of more than twenty years, no primary mineralization has been defined in Nippers Harbour area. Therefore, further work is necessary to unravel the primary mineralization of Nippers Harbour exploration area. Based on the previous and cunent work programs, we recommend following to be done for the next year's program: IP geophysical survey. Trenching when necessary. Drilling confirmation in at least two target areas (No. l&2 Prospects). 12
