6 Previous Work The Misty lake property was staked to assess the PGE potential of poorly known mafic ultramafic rocks of the Ossok Mountain Intrusive Suite. The PGE potential of these rocks has been recognized by several workers including, James (1994) and Saunders (2001, 2002), however, systematic geophysical surveying was never completed. Buchan s River Ltd staked and prospected three separate licenses in 2001 and 2002 in order to assess the PGE potential of the Ossok Mountain Intrusive Suite (Saunders 2001 and 2002). Previous mapping results completed in the region by the Government of Newfoundland had identified the Ossok rocks as having high potential to host PGE mineralization (James, 1994). Brilliant Mining Corp s staked the area in 2005and their best results were obtained from the western claim block where they identified sulphide-bearing ultramafic rocks in outcrop and float. Their highest assay yielded g/t combined precious metals were obtained from a 2m wide pyroxenite float carrying disseminated pyrite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite and pentlandite (Saunders, 2002). Although further work was recommended, the claims were allowed to lapse. The Misty lake property was staked by Brilliant Mining Corp. primarily based on the results generated by Buchan s River Ltd during 2001 and Prospecting and airborne geophysical results on the misty lake claim blocks during 2005 suggest the property has a high potential to host PGE-Ni-Cu mineralization. Prospecting has confirmed the presence of PGE s in the north part of the claim block that were originally reported by Buchan s River Ltd in 2001 and airborne geophysics over the area helped map out the extent of the prospective parts of Ossok intrusive rocks. A second area on the property that is centered at N, E may also have potential for PGE mineralization. At this locale the margin of an Ossok intrusive body is roughly coincident with elevate conductance that is crosscut by a significant Northwest trending structure that has anomalous PD and Cu lake sediment values. In 2013 the area was claim by Prospector, Peter Rogers, Which traditional prospecting, Lake Sediment, & EM-16 work was done, to try to explain the High anomaly in the area. Lake Sediments revealed high values of PGE s and will have to be follow-up in 2014, 5

7 Geology: The Misty Lake property is underlain by a highly deformed and metamorphosed intrusion of the Ossok Mountains mafic intrusive suite and its paragnesiss host rocks. The intrusion comprises mafic rocks(leucogabbronorite, gabbronorite, melagabbronorite) and ultramafic rocks(harzburgite, olivine,websterite, )Exposure is very poor through most of the area, which is covered by hummocky Pleistocene moraine deposit up to 10 or 20 meters thick. Along the western edge of the intrusion the moraine was largely removed by bedrock. Glaciofluvil sand and gravel deposits related to this channel system have been limit. The moraine deposit is absent in some areas tens of meters across, leaving instead a relatively thin ground moraine within which angular frost-heaved boulders appear to represent the local bedrock. Mineralization Anomalous concentrations of Ni, Cu, Pt and Pd were reported last year in assays of grab samples of ultramafic rock taken from float and outcrop on the Ossok West property. I visited the sampling locations and observed in one case a boulder several meters in size with a prominent rusty coating - on fresh surfaces this rock is seen to contain cm-sized patches of net-textured pyrrhotite enclosing serpentinized olivine. The rock as a whole contains less than 1% sulfide, though the small patches locally contain upwards of 25% sulfide minerals. The assay returned for a sample from this boulder contained 1123 Ni (Carpenter, 2006). This is the same boulder in which flattened leucocratic inclusions were observed. Another boulder shows streaks of green malachite bloom along fractures, indicating the presence of minor chalcopyrite in the unweathered portions of the rock. The assay for this boulder contained 696 Ni, 3262 Cu, 760 ppb Pd, and 200 ppb Pt (Carpenter, 2006). I visited other occurrences of ultramafic outcrop that were reported to contain anomalous metal concentrations - the sulfide mineralization is present in trace amounts and the rocks are not notably covered in gossan. An occurrence of ferricrete was observed along the western contact of the intrusion in a sandpit on the south side of the Trans-Labrador Highway. At this Locality the Pleistocene sand deposit is cemented by iron oxides to form friable, dark reddish-brown sandstone. 6

8 Synopsis The ultramafic rocks are traversed by mafic dykes and are occasionally seen as Inclusions in the mafic portion of the intrusion, indicating that the emplacement of mafic andultramafic rocks overlapped in time. It is impossible to map the exact distribution of the ultramafic rocks, but it is evident that they form one or more podiform masses entirely Enclosed within the mafic intrusion, as schematically illustrated in the accompanying map (Figure 9). The ultramafic rocks are clearly cumulate in nature, and can be interpreted as Accumulations of olivine and pyroxene from the primitive magma that fed the entire Intrusion. The mafic liquid with which the ultramafic cumulates equilibrated is no longer Present, which means that they formed in an open system. In my interpretation, the present map pattern of the ultramafic pods is a horizontal cut through a steeply inclined pipe-like body of ultramafic cumulates formed in a flow-through system that served as a conduit for the mafic magma that fed the gabbronorite intrusion. The presence of leucocratic inclusions in the ultramafic rocks and also within the gabbronorite indicates that the feeder system was emplaced through highly brecciated paragneiss and had ample opportunity to assimilate its country rocks, some of which are rich in sulfide. The results of the airborne geophysical survey are consistent with the interpretation That the ultramafic rocks are a mineralized feeder conduit. There is not a substantial high in the total magnetic field in the area of the ultramafic rocks, but they coincide with a broad anomalous conductivity which might result from the presence of poorly-connected magmatic 7

I am not qualified to interpret the geophysical survey results in except in a qualitative manner, so I cannot comment on the amount of sulfide mineralization represented by the observed conductivity anomaly. The paucity of exposed sulphide mineralization is somewhat discouraging, but it is noteworthy that the areas underlain by the strongest conductors are not exposed in outcrop.. In summary, the overall geological environment at Misty Lake is highly favourable fort the generation of magmatic sulfide mineralization. There is a structure that I consider to be a probable ultramafic feeder to a large intrusion, close to the contact with metasediments that locally contain high sulfide concentrations. The interpreted feeder is known to contain minor amount of sulphide and has a geophysical response suggestive of moderate sulfide content throughout a large volume of rock. (Craig Finnigon 2006) Current year program The claim blocks and surrounding area contains a high area of anomalous conductivity interpreted to be from bedrock sources which was gathered during an airborne Magnetics and GEOTEM survey conducted by Brilliant Mining Corp in As a follow-up from the work of 2013 I did some more Lake sediments samples to see the extent of the mineralization in the lake sediments work was also done over the area of the airborne survey, to see how it compares to the Airborne mag.some traditional prospecting, Boulder tracing, & bedrock tracing,. Results: There were 50 samples collected: 32 rock samples; 6 stream sediment samples; 8 lake sediment samples; and 4 Soil sample. All these sample locations are shown on the attached Sheets. LSPR with.008 Au,.033 Pt,.029 Pd, 132 Ba, I have collected a lot of information this year confirming there is a possible of a deposit of Pge s in the area as the results above show similar results in both rock & lake sediments. No EM lines were taken this year because I was focus on doing a follow-up of the lake sediments assays from last year and did some boulder tracing to try and find the source of the PGE s. Conclusions and Recommendations: With the information I collected this year, I have sent all of the information to Gerry Kilfoil who is going to check out the airborne anomalies in the area and compare them to our high value samples and the entire boulder tracing we did in the area. I also sent along the location of the bedrock we found, so over this winter when I get the results back from Gerry, I will make a plan on what I will do next summer, Depending on the results from Gerry, I may have to do some soil sampling as well as Trenching, Possible more EM-lines across the anomalies.
