3 pie REZ l-6 M.C s KAMLOOPS M.D,!L&A JNTRODUCTION Under the supetislon of the writ&, the REZ 1-6 minera claim8 were investigated by a Ceouhemical Survey. The survey was conducted by R.P. Fustos and R. Peltfer, June 18 to 2.5 Inolusiv8. Using the Rubianlo method, field determinations were made to detect the oopper content of soil samples taken from an established grid system on the propelty. To facilitate the work the old road to the property from the Krain camp, which was used as a field headquarters p was put into passable condition with a D-7 Caterpillar bulldozer. The EZ claims adjoin on the west the Transvaal property where in the past extensive exploratory work was carried

4 -2- out on highgrade copper showings. The purpose of the survey was to discover lf the soil on the W~claims contained higher than normal cropper, and, lf 80, to outline suoh anomalous zones. LOCATION AND ACCESSIBI~ The claims are located In the Highland Valley ama of Southern British Columbia on the west af the Transvaal Crown Grant mineral claims. Aacese Is from the Krain camp vie the old Transvaal road. The Kraln camp is reaohed via a secondary road which branches north off the paved Bethlehem road, 1 mile southwest of the mill and offloe. The claims extend from the summlt down the even northweet slope of South Forge Mountain into the small valley, a branch of Bear Creek, and up the north side for about one claim length. Bear Creek drains westerly Into Pukalsh Creek, a tributary of the Thompson River. above sea level. The claims are at an elevation of about 5,500 feet OEOMGY The claims area is belleved wholly underlain by Tertiary volcanio rocks, chiefly bassalt. Muoh of the surface Is oovered with overburden. Since quartz diorite porphyry outcrops a short distance to the east, there Is a strong possibility that the contact between the volcanlo awer and older porphyry is close to the property boundary. The volcanic capping may be thin, but no attempts have been made to establish thickness on the property. GEOCliEMIGAL SURVEY A base line was surveyed by chain and transit on an old surveyed line through the central part of the property. At

6 -4-3OO-foot Intervals lines were establtshed in an east-west direction to the property bounderies. At loo-foot intervals on the cross lines stations were established with marked stakes ; A sample of soil was taken at each station. All samples were brought to Vanooyvea and tested for copper by the Rublanic method. The Fublenic papers were classified as negative, weak+) medium and strong and appropriate symbols for same placed on a plan map of the property, The map accompanies this report, BURVEY RESULTS Strong copper content In the soil samples was obtained at only 4 locations. Medium strength anomalous zones are indicated. The remainder of the surface produced weak results. COMCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATION8 The claims area is covered wlth overburden and Tertiary volcanic rocks, except for possibly some quartz dlorite porphyry near the southeast boundary.

Re: Geochemical Report, REZ l-6 Claims Dear Sir:, The samples were taken on the REZ l-6 mineral claims as follows: From cross lines and a base line stations were established and staked at regular intervals. At each station a sample of clean earth was taken. Each sample, weighing about l/4 pound, was placed in a plastic bag and the bag was inscribed with the station number. From the sample a l/2 teaspoon measure of the earth was selected and placed in a test tube for the usual chemical test for copper by the rubianic acid method. Yours truly, A. R. Allen, P. Eng.
