PROJECT 386 (STANKEY i DPTION) REPORT ON POWER STRIPPING PROGRAMME PRISKE TOWNSHIP, ONTARIO INTRODUCTION The Stankey Option (Project 386) consists of 4 contiguous unpatented mining caims ocated 4 km north (N) of the town of Schreiber in the Thunder Bay mining division. Between June 5 and Juy,1989 a stripping and samping programme was carried out by Pacer Dome Inc. (PDI) to evauate a showing aong the Schreiber Pyramid Faut. No significant assays were received, and resuts were generay not encouraging. No further work is recohimended for the property at this time. PROPERTY The Stankey Option property consists of 4 contiguous mining caims ocated in Priske Township, Thunder Bay Mining Division. Access is via 4-whee-drive road nor^h from Peary Street in Schreiber to Big Duck Creek, and from there via skidder trai (traversabe by aterrain bike), to the trenched area discussed in this report. PREVIOUS WORK Auriferous quartz veins on the Schreiber Pyramid property were trenched and buk samped by Kenecho God Mines in the 1930's. Veins were samped from open cuts and a short adit, and a sma test mi was estabished on site.

8 In 1969 Zenmac Meta Mines Ltd. dried five ho^s, totaing 43m, on a base meta showing north of the Schreiber Pyramid adit. Dri hoes intersected minor quartz veining and pyritic shear zones, with the best intersection being 0.3m of massive suphides (chac opyrite-sphaeritepyrrhotite) in a choritic shear at a contact between vocanic and sedimentary rocks. j In 1984 Corporation Faconbridge Copper (CFC) acquired the property to reevauate its base meta potentia in ight of the nearby Winston Lake discovery. They aso carried out a programme of inecutting, ground geophysics (VLF, HLEM, Mag), geoogica mapping, ithogeochemica surveys, ba^khoe stripping and samping. Resuts of the programme incuded 45. g/t Au in a grab sampe from i the #1 vein directy above the Schreiber Pyramid adit, afid definition of a zone of anomaous zinc vaues near the contact between sheared mafic vocanics and the northern metasediments. No driing was carried out, afd CFC returned the property to George Stankey. GENERAL GEOLOGY The option property ies in the east-west trending ^chreiber-white River greenstone bet of the Archean Abitibi-Wawa-Shebando^van Subprovince of the Superior Province of the Canadian Shied. In the Schreiber area the bet is composed of generay east-west trending, north-facing, mafic metavocanics with minor metasediments and mafic intrusive rocks. t PROPERTY GEOLOGY The property is underain by mafic metavocanics interrupted by two northwestery trending bands of chert-magnetite iron formation and castic mafic j metasediments. Metavocanics and metasediments are cut by coarse grained gabbroic dikes and quartz and/or fedspar-phyric fesic ^ikes/sis. Rock types encountered in the area stripped are as shown beow (see Drawing No ):

UNIT 3b - STRONGLY SILICIFIED AND CARBONIZED VOLCANIC with Z-5% f iney disseminated pyrite, strong iron oxide weathering on exposed surfaces, and S-10% -5mm randomy oriented quartz venets. UNIT 3c - HIGHLY FRACTURED TO BRECCIATED^ VOLCANIC, strongy siicified, moderatey carbonitized, with 15ft -3mm quartz stringers aong fractures, and S-5% disseminated and stringer pyrite. i UNIT 1 - MINOR FELSIC INTRUSIVE, buff/gyey, aphanitic, with no visibe suphides.! DETAILS OF STRIPPING PROGRAMME The programme discussed in this report consisted (of back-hoe stripping, washing, mapping and samping of a god showing on the Schreiber Pyramid Faut 500m SE of the adit and test mi buit by jkenecho God Mines in the 1930's. This showing was trenched by Kenecho in 1937 (records of assays not avaiabe). In 1985 the trenches were re-samped by Corporation Faconbridge Copper with best resuts being.3 g/t Au from a grab sampe of a.0m wide siicified zone containing carbonate and pyrite. On a September 1988 property examination by Pacer Dome Inc. a chip sampe taken fi^m the same trench assayed 6. g/t Au over m. The area of the showing was stripped and washed over a distance of 40m aong strike and 36m across strike. A tota of 50 sampes! (8 saw-cut s and continuous chip sampes) were taken. 11 MINERALIZATION AND STRUCTURE The north-west trending Schreiber Pyramid Faut appears to be the major factor controing god mineraization in the area workep. A foiation striking NW and dipping roughy 75O NE is visibe in virtuay a exposed rocks in the area stripped. Degree of carbonate ateration appears to be Reated to strength of foiation. Contacts of strongy atered/deformed units (imits 3b and 3c), from which most anomaous Au assays came, are parae to t^is NW trending faut. A NE trending faut was noted cutting across the Schreiber Pyramid Faut in the area stripped in this programme. This X-cutting faut pattern has resuted in strongy fractured rocks, but no additiona ateration appears directy attributabe to the NE trending faut. ROCK GEOCHEMISTRY There were 50 rock sampes (8 saw-cut s And continuous chips) taken from the stripped areas and sent to Min-En aboratories in Thunder Bay for geochemica anaysis. Mean vaue of Au anaysis was 7J9 ppb with 13 of 50 sampes returning vaues > 10 ppb Au. No economicay significant Au anaysis were received.

12 Resuts of this programme, examination of other iod showings on the property, and data avaiabe on other properties in the i tnmediate area, suggest that at best this showing may be an extension of the veity system expored by the Schreiber Pyramid (Kenecho) adit. This impies an environment of narrow, shear hosted, pinching/sweing quartz veins with potentiay ijigh-grade, but erraticay distributed, Au mineraization.
