4 INTRODUCTION The property was mapped by Morning Dew Exploration Ltd., August 28th and September 4th, LOCATION AND ACCESS The two claims are located in Vincent Township, approximate ly 9 miles west of Jellicoe, Ontario, 1/2 mile south from the Canadian National Railroad shown in Figures l and 2 approximately 120 miles northeast of the city of Thunder Bay. The property is accessed by boat across Blackwater River then by good bush road to approximately 200 feet from the east or west of the claims. TOPOGRAPHY AND VEGETATION There is minimal topographic relief on the property as overburden covers the claims. White cedar, jackpine, poplar, black spruce and alders prevail on the property. A swamp bog prevails on claim TB High sandy terrain occurs in the northern part of claim TB and the east side of claim TB Outcrop areas occur in the southeastern portion of claim TB PAST WORK The historical work is described by Waddington (1983) by various workers since The property was drilled by Canamax reported by Waddington 1983 with two holes in claim TB and one in TB The report is filed in Thunder Bay (K ).

7 REGIONAL GEOLOGY The Beardmore-Geraldton metavolcanic-metasedimentary (here inafter the term "meta" is dropped) terrain is situated on the boundary between the Quetico and Wabigoon subprovinces of the Precambrian Shield. It comprises three belts of volcanic-sed imentary rocks termed the northern, central and southern sedimen tary belts (NMB, CMS, and SMB respectively). Local mafic and felsic intrusives occur within the volcanic-sedimentary sequences and are cut by a number of sub-parallel, east-west trending regional faults. Although the sedimentary sequence is fault- bounded, the original sedimentary sequence was deposited on a cratonic margin. The environments of deposition are varied and range from alluvial fan-braid plain in the NMB, through fan delta-braid in the CMB, to a marine turbiditic assemblage in the SMB. REGIONAL ECONOMIC GEOLOGY Southern Metasedimentary Belt (SMB) In the SMB, the Leitch and Northern Empire gold deposits, both near Beardmore, are hosted in steeply dipping quartz vein systems; the former in sediments and the latter in mafic vol canics. The MacLeod Cockshutt and Hard Rock Mines near Gerald ton, consist of quartz stringers in iron formation and quartz

8 veins associated with felsic intrusives. The Solomon Pillars near Jellicoe, consist of quartz stringers associated with iron formation. Regionally, structural relationships between fault systems and lithologic contacts are important to these deposits. Central Metasedimentary Belt (CMB) There are several precious and base metal occurrences within the CMB, however, there are no recorded ore deposits found to date within this belt. Northern Metasedimentary Belt (NMB) Limited exploration interest in the belt is best demonstrat ed by the Brookbank deposit, the first known deposit to the NMB. Geologically, the Brookbank deposit is localized along a sheared contact between polymictic conglomerate-sandstone units and pillowed mafic volcanics. A diorite intrudes the volcanics and has caused incipient deformation, alteration and mineralization in the sediments and volcanics. A splay fault from the regional Paint Lake Fault separates the sediment-volcanic units on the property.

9 PROPERTY GEOLOGY The property is underlain by felsic sediments and mafic volcanics. The felsic sediments have a strike of 090 and are located in the southeast corner of claim TB They are poorly bedded and sugary in texture. No sulphides were noticed in the felsic sediments. These felsic sediments are in contact with mafic volcanic, with slightly flattened pillows with pillow tops to the north and the dip to the south, suggesting an overturned sequence. The volcanics are principally chloritic in composition. A rusted weathered chert horizon occurs in one mafic volcanic outcrop where pyrite had been noticed. The property was drilled with three holes that are described in the report by Waddington (1983). RECOMMENDATIONS Geophysical magnetometer and VLF-EM surveys are recommended along with a geochemical survey testing the trees for elemental gold. CONCLUSIONS The property warrants a nominal follow up program to deter mine whether anomalous gold exists on the property.
