2 Implementation Status and Key Decisions The Line 5 implementation progress is at a good pace despite accumulated delays, due mainly to initial delays related to civil works. The project continues to be moderately satisfactory and the PDO continues to be fully achievable. The civil works are expected to be concluded by March 2018, except for Campo Belo Station, which is expected for December The train contract is progressing as per the schedule with all 26 trains delivered. The implementation of the systems contract is progressing, despite delays. The restructuring of the Line 5 project was accomplished by the first addition, signed on June 29, 2017, which changes the contract, including in its objectives Civil Works of four stations of Line 4, a new station (Vila Sônia), its tunnels of access with about 1,5 Km of extension, bus terminal in the yard Vila Sônia, acquisition and installation of escalators, platform doors and systems of signaling and telecommunications of the referred stations. As Line 4 closes on February 28th 2018, Line 5 will include supervision of remaining works. 6/1/2018 Page 2 of 11
