The final report will be available on June The project has made some implementation progress towards achieving its goals. Recent monitoring and evaluation data shows an increase in agricultural production in the intervention areas since the beginning of the project (96% of the final target) and a 15% increase in large and small ruminants. Thanks to the implementation of the sub-projects, the number of direct beneficiaries has significantly increased and is currently standing at 287,689 (300% more than the initial target). The implementation of the sustainable land and water management (SLWM) sub-projects have got momentum with 232,519 hectares under SLWM practices reported by the Project. The project is scheduled to close June 30, The Government will submit to the Bank an update on the project financial commitments, a request on the balance cancellation and re-allocation.
