Caller estimates that the facility will be evacuated between 2000 and 2200 tonight (10/09/18). Bay County EM has been notified. The facility advises that they will resume normal operations once storm conditions pass. Incident Number: Incident Name: I-95 NB Road Closure (MM353) w/ Petroleum Release Occurred: 10/9/ :58 ET Reported to SWO: 10/9/ :11 ET Affecting: Duval, Road Closure or DOT Issue Summary: All northbound lanes of I-95 were closed near mile marker 353 in Jacksonville due to a vehicle crash involving a tanker truck. Approximately 3,000 gallons of fuel was released as a result of the accident, and entered a nearby storm drain. Clean-up was conducted by a contractor. Incident Number: Incident Name: Wastewater Release Occurred: 10/9/ :00 ET Reported to SWO: 10/9/ :57 ET Affecting: Marion Summary: Marion County Utilities reported a release of 10,000 gallons of raw sewage due to a break in a force main in Ocala. The release did not enter any storm drains or waterways. Clean up actions have been completed. Incident Number: Incident Name: Crude Oil Release Occurred: 10/8/ :00 ET Reported to SWO: 10/9/ :39 ET Affecting: Collier Summary: Breitburn Operating reported a hazmat release in Cypress National Preserve. Approximately 2,016 gallons of a combination of crude oil and produced water was released due to corrosion of a production well in Cypress National Preserve. The secondary container caught the majority of the release, but some of it did make contact with soil. No storm drains or waterways were impacted. Approximately 1,680 gallons were vacuumed up and recovered. Cleanup conducted by the reporting party.
