FHP is on scene conducting a Traffic Homicide Investigation. Incident Number: Incident Name: Digested Sludge Spill Occurred: 12/5/ :33 ET Reported to SWO: 12/6/ :17 ET Affecting: Pinellas Summary: 39,458 gallons of digested sludge spilled at a facility in Clearwater due to a pipe failure. An estimated 500 gallons of the sludge got off-site and into Stevenson Creek. Clean-up conducted by the reporting party. Within the next 24 hours, another 10 to 15 homes in the 34th Loop (Anderson s Subdivision) are expected to also be isolated due to flooding.
