2 Kv cefficient calculatin Calculatin itself is carried ut with respect t cnditins f regulating circuit and perating medium accrding t equatins mentined belw. Cntrl valve must be designed t be able t regulate maximal flw quantity at given perating cnditins. At the same time it is necessary t check whether minimal flw quantity can be even regulated r nt. Because f eventual minus tlerance 0% f Kv00against Kvs and requirement fr pssible regulatin within range f maximal flw (decrement and increase f flw), prducer recmmends t select Kvs value higher than maximal perating Kv value: Kvs =.. Kv It is necessary t take int accunt t which extent Q max invlve "precautinary additins" that culd result in valve versizing. This event can cause higher level f nisiness and then it is cnvenient t use a thrttling system ensuring lw nisiness (multi-step pressure reductin, damping rifice plate at utlet). Cavitatin Cavitatin is a phenmenn when there are steam bubbles creating and vanishing in shcks - generally at the narrwest sectin f flwing due t lcal pressure drp. This event expressively cuts dwn service life f inner parts and can result in creatin f unpleasant vibratins and nisiness. In cntrl valves it can happen n cnditin that (p - p ) > = 0.6 (p - p S) Valve differential pressure shuld be set the way s that neither any undesired pressure drp causing cavitatin can ccur, nr liquid-steam(wet steam) mixture can create. Otherwise it must be taken int accunt when calculating Kv value. If the creatin f cavitatin still threatens, it is necessary t use a multi-step pressure reductin. 3 Applicatin f multi-step pressure reductin When the valves are designed fr peratin in abve-critical differential pressure (p /p <0,54 when thrttling steam and gases), r when diff. pressure value is higher than the recmmended service diff. pressure, it is effectual t use a thrttling system in tw r three steps t prevent the cavitatin frm creating and t ensure bth a lng service life f the valve inner parts and lw nisiness when perating. 4 RV 90 Cntrl valves Inlet DN 50 t 50 Outlet DN 80 t 700 PN 6 t 60 Descriptin The valves with extended utlet f series RV90 are single seated cntrl valves f a unit cnstructin designed t fit in all demands f an appliance the valve is designed fr. The pressure-balanced, multi-step thrttling system is always designed t eliminate the valve s high differential pressures with a high resistance t wearing caused by flw and effects f expanding steam. It als ensures a lw nisiness level. The valve is equipped with packing type Live Lading. The valves are supplied in angle executin with weld ends cnnectin and are actuated with bth electric and pneumatic actuatrs. The cnnectin is designed fr using actuatrs f the fllwing prducers: ZPA Pečky, Regada Prešv, Auma, Schiebel and Flwserve. It is als pssible t use fast acting electrhydraulic actuatrs fr quick clsing r pening. Prcess media The valves are especially designed fr the flw and pressure cntrl f the prcess medium withut impurities, hwever they can be used fr gases and vapurs when inlet and utlet flw velcities are kept within the permissible range. The cmmn prcess media are fr example water, steam and ther media with n special demands n the used type f material f the valve. The prducer recmmends t pipe a strainer int pipeline in frnt f the valve when impurities are present. Impurities can affect the quality and reliability f regulatin and can cause a reductin f the valve service life. The valve applicatin fr any ther media shuld be cnsulted with the prducer because f the type f material that is in cntact with the prcess medium. Applicatin The valves f series RV90 are especially designed fr industry applicatins such as heating plants, pwer plants r regulatin f technlgical prcesses. The max. permissible perating pressure values crrespnd t EN 56- see page f this catalgue. Installatin 6 The valves must be piped the way s that the prcess medium flw will cincide with the arrws indicated n the valve bdy. They can be installed in hrizntal, vertical r inclined pipeline in any psitin except the psitin when the actuatr is under the valve bdy. Recmmended differential pressures 6 n regard t the pressure balancing f the plug and t linear frces f usable actuatrs, the valves applicatin in high differential pressures is nt limited by the frces caused by prcess medium pressure but by the type f used thrttling system. A recmmended max. differential pressure fr ne step f a multi-step pressure reductin is 5.0 MPa. It is recmmended t cnsult the prducer and discuss the cncrete cases with regard t pressure rati and service parametres f ther equipment. 8 RS 90 Steam cnditining statin Inlet DN 50 t 50 Outlet DN 50 t 700 PN 6 t 60 Descriptin Steam cnditining statins f series RS90 are single-seated cntrl valves f a unit cnstructin designed fr water injectin int the extended utlet. The pressure-balanced, multi-step thrttling trim is designed t eliminate high differential pressures within the valve and ensure the lw nisiness. It ensure a high resistance t wearing caused by medium flw and t effects f the expanding steam. A lw nisiness level can be als eliminated with rifice plates in extended utlet. Cling water is injected int the extended utlet behind the thrtling trim thrugh a specially designed nzzle (VH, VHP r CHR) with changeable flw. The valve is equipped with packing f type "LiveLading". The valves are supplied in angle executin with weld ends cnnectin. The valves are actuated with bth electric and pneumatic actuatrs. In case f request fr quick running they culd be als equipped with fast acting electrhydraulic actuatrs. Valves are adjusted with actuatrs s that in the clsed psitin, i.e. when clsing t the seat, the trque switch turns ff. In the pen psitin they are adjusted s that the psitin switch turns ff (the trque switch fr pen psitin is adjusted as a safety switch t prtect the valve against its damage nly).
