DIOSFYPLOR 1TION 2016K2 GL'OLOGICIL REPORT 1. INTRODUCTION The K2 gld prject was initiated in 2012 by Dis Explratin frm an exhaustive gelgical cmpilatin f the Lwer Eastmain River Greenstne Belt. The prperty is lcated in the Lac Elmer area in the 33C05 NTS sheet, apprximately 270 km nrth f Matagami and 180 km suth f Radissn, in James Bay territry, Quebec. It is als situated abut 125 km suthwest f Gldcrp's Elenre gld mine, cntaining prven and prbable mineral reserves f millin tns grading 6.30 g/t Au, fr a ttal f 4.97 Mz (Gldcrp website, 2015). The Eastmain Resurces Lac Elmer A21 Zne (up t 0.5 g/t Au and 45 g/t Ag ver 30m) is lcated abut 10km nrtheast f the K2 prperty. Previus explratin wrk in the 1980's by Westmin and the SDBJ identified several gldcpper-silver ccurrences (up t 2.6 g/t Au, 8.28% Cu & 34 g/t Ag) in the vicinities f Kali Lake, at r near the cntact between the synvlcanic Kali Quartz Prphyry and calc-alkaline felsic vlcanic-tuff sequences. The K2 prperty straddles this highly prspective cntact cincident with a distinct magnetic high anmaly cut by WNW and ENE riented structures. Typical mineralizatin cnsists f disseminated pyrite-chalcpyrite assciated with quartz +/- carbnates-ankerite veins, silicified +/- bititized-sericitized fractures and shear znes. The mre recent discvery f significant gld mineralizatin within felsic and diritic intrusins n Dis AU33 prperty (Hebert Zne up t 2.13 g/t Au ver 22.90m and 1.15 g/t Au ver 64.00m) enhanced the gld ptential assciated with the Kali Quartz Prphyry. In 2014, a neday field recnnaissance was carried ut n the nrthern part f the prperty and cnfirmed the presence f gld-cpper-silver mineralizatin, bth in intrusive and vlcanic rcks. New shwings returned up t 3.39 g/t Au, 5.39 g/t Au, 5.05% Cu & 111 g/t Ag and 0.11 g/t Au, 0.85% Cu&41g/tAg. This reprt aims t describe the results f the 2014 ne-day recnnaissance cnducted by Dis Explratin n the K2 gld prject and t present a cmpilatin f the previus explratin wrk cmpleted n the prperty. 1

La Grande ; The Opinaca sub-prvince (2700 t 2648 Ma) cmprises paragneisses, migmatites and granitic rcks, representing exhumed metasedimentary basins and metamrphic dmes. The K2 prperty is lcated 3 km nrth f the cntact between these gelgical sub-prvinces, mstly 6

IIOSL'XPLORf1TION 20161r2 GEOLOGICIL REPORT marked by the transitin frm vlcan-sedimentary rcks t granitic and metamrphic dmains. Metamrphic grade ranges frm greenschist t amphiblite facies fr the La Grande and frm amphiblite t granulite facies fr the Opinaca. The Lwer Eastmain greenstne belt is abut 250km lng, 10 t 70 kilmetres wide, and extends east-west frm James Bay shres t central Quebec alng the Eastmain River (Figure 6). The LEGB cmprises fur main vlcanic cycles: Kauputauch ( My), Natel ( My), Anatacau-Pivert ( My) and Km-Kasak (<2705 My) frmatins (Mukhsil & al., 2002). Tw perids f sedimentatin verlie the vlcanic cycles: the Wabamisk, Anacnda and Clarkie frmatins ( My) and the Auclair frmatin (<2697 My). The tp f the Wabamisk Fm is defined by the presence f plygenic and mngenic cnglmerates primarily cmpsed f tnalitic-diritic pebbles. The LEGB has undergne several episdes f magmatic activity. Intrusins are subdivided in three categries: synvlcanic (2747 t 2710 Ma), syntectnic ( My) and late t pst-tectnic (<2697 My). Finally, Prterzic diabase dykes crsscut the intrusive and supracrustal rcks f the LEGB. Three main phases f reginal defrmatin are recgnized within the Middle-Lwer Eastmain regin (Bily & Mukhsil, 2002). The first (D1) is characterized by an E-W trending schistsity ( My); the secnd (D2) is assciated with a NE-SW, lcally N-S schistsity ( My); the third (D3) is a WNW-ESE t NW-SE schistsity and affects syn- t pst-tectnic intrusins (<2688 My). The Lwer Eastmain district hsts numerus gld ccurrences, as shwn n DIOS cmpilatin map (Figure 7). Gldcrp's Elenre gld mine (8.83 Mz unces in all categries) is lcated apprximately 125 km NE f K2 prperty. In 2014, prven and prbable mineral reserves f millin tns grading 6.30 g/t Au were measured, fr a ttal f 4.97 Mz, (Gldcrp website, 2015). The Elenre depsit is lcated a few kilmeters suth f the cntact between the Opinaca and La Grande sub-prvince, representing a reginal metamrphic gradient. The depsit is hsted within metasedimentary sequences f the Lw Frmatin, part f the La Grande sub-prvince, alng the nrthern edge f the Ell Lake diritic-tnalitic intrusin. Ore znes cnsist f a series f sub-parallel decameter-size gld-bearing lenses, characterized by stckwrks and replacement-style mineralizatin hsted by ply-defrmed sedimentary rcks, 7

DIOSFYPLOR4TIOIV (2 GL'OLOGIC,4L REPORT usually cmpsed f thinly bedded greywackes. Higher grade gld mineralizatin is assciated with the presence f large amunts f fine-grained micrcline (ptassic alteratin), disseminated brwn turmaline (dravite) and arsenpyrite. The Elenre depsit is hsted within a subvertically plunging kilmeter-scale F2 synfrmal anticline. The vertical extent f the mineralized system has been traced t 1500m belw surface. Recnnaissance wrk n the ElI Lake prphyry-style gld-cpper-silver ccurrences, fund by Nranda in 1964, led Virginia Mines t the discvery f Elenre. Mineralizatin was cmpsed f quartz-pyrite-chalcpyrite veinlets and stckwrks hsted within the ElI Lake diritic-tnalitic intrusin, clse t the cntact with the metasediments. The Eastmain Resurces Clearwater gld depsit is reprted t cntain a cmbined measured & indicated NI resurce f 4.87 Mt grading 4.60 g/t (721,000 unces f gld), and inferred resurces f 6.5 Mt grading 5.45 g/t (1,122,000 unces f gld). The Clearwater depsit is lcated at the intersectin f three majr structures, n the suthern limb f a F2 anticlinal fld clsure plunging t the west. The depsit has been traced fr tw kilmetres in length and t a vertical depth f 900 metres. The 450 West Zne ccurs within a 200m wide defrmatin crridr bunded t the nrth (ftwall) by felsic vlcanic rcks and t the suth (hanging wall) by a felsic prphyry dyke swarm. Gld mineralizatin cnsists f Au-(Te-Bi-M-Ag) bearing quartz-carbnate-turmaline veins mainly hsted by high irn-thleiitic mafic vlcanics f the Eau Claire frmatin, with less than 3% sulphides cnsisting f pyrite, pyrrhtite, chalcpyrite and rare mlybdenite. Tellurides are als cmmnly bserved in assciatin with gld. The Eastmain Resurces Reservir Gld-Cpper C-52 Zne is lcated 45 km west f Clearwater and 60 km suthwest f Elenre gld depsits. The C52 Zne cnsists f tw r mre gldbearing hrizns extending ver an area f 2100m lng by 150m wide. Mineralizatin cmprises disseminated pyrrhtite-pyrite-chalcpyrite assciated with bitite-actinlite and lcal carbnate alteratin, mainly hsted at r near the cntact between a feldspar prphyry and mafic vlcanic rcks (GM 63558). Mineralizatin is cncentrated in thin bands and within a dense micr-fracture system filled with sulphides, magnetite and chlrite. Wide znes f ptassic (bitite) alteratin and sdium (albite) enrichment, crss-cut by late quartz-calcite veinlets, are bserved in bth prphyry and adjacent mafic vlcanic rcks. A cpper-gld prphyry-related mdel was initially prpsed fr the C-52 Zne (Gauthier & Larcque, 1998). 8

DIOS EXPLORATION K2 GEOLOGICAL REPORT 4.2 Lac Elmer Area Gelgy The K2 prperty is lcated in the Lac Elmer area, nrth f the Opinaca Fault (Figure 8). The Lac Elmer area is underlain by a km thick vlcanic assemblage part f the Lwer Eastmain Greenstne Belt, bunded by the Pawachis and Duxbury bathliths t the nrth and Opinaca- Nemiscau metasedimentary rcks t the suth. The Opinaca fault is a NE-SW trending nrthdipping shear zne fllwed ver 9km alng the Opinaca River that divides the gelgy f the Lac Elmer area in tw distinct lithlgical dmains (Bernier & Cnstantin, 1997). Metamrphic grade ranges frm upper greenschist in the nrthern dmain, t lwer amphiblite facies suth f the Opinaca fault. The K2 prperty is lcated 3 km nrth f the cntact between the Opinaca (Nemiscau) and La Grande gelgical sub-prvinces. The nrthern dmain is primarily cmpsed f calc-alkaline felsic t intermediate vlcanic-tuff sequences f the Kauputauch Fm (2752 My), intruded by synvlcanic felsic prphyries (Kali QP, Elmer QFP), and gabbric-diritic intrusins, dykes and sills. The Kali and Lac Elmer gld ccurrences are spatially assciated with the Kali Quartz Prphyry (2744 ± 5My) and Elmer Quartz-Feldspath Prphyry ( ± 1.5 My) respectively. The suthern dmain cmprises thleitic basalts f the Km Fm (2705 ± 3My), verlain by the Wabamisk Fm cnsisting f yunger calc-alkaline felsic t intermediate vlcanic-tuff sequences, intercalated irn frmatins, and minr layers f greywacke and cnglmerates. The supracrustal sequences suth f the Opinaca fault are flded by a reginal ENE-WSW riented antifrmal syncline tilted t the suth and plunging t the west. The Km and Wabamisk Frmatins are wrapped arund the Kasapawatish felsic plutn (2728 ± 3 My), interpreted as a synvlcanic intrusin (Mukhsil & al., 2001). Dis SOLO prperty is centered n the fld clsure f the antifrmal syncline. Extensive frmatinal E.M inputs and I.P. anmalies cincident with gld-in-sil anmalies are subparallels t the stratigraphy f the SOLO prperty and might represent irn frmatins r sulphidized lithlgical cntacts (GM 68166). Since the early 1980's, several Au +/- Ag-Cu-Zn shwings have been discvered in the Lac Elmer area, mstly lcated nrth f the Opinaca fault within the Kauputauch Fm (Table 2 & Figure 9). 11

DIOSL'XPLORITION GL'OLOGICflL REPORT Five types f gld mineralizatin are bserved: 1- Vlcangenic disseminated, semi-massive t massive and/r stringer sulphides cnsisting f PY-CPY-SP-(rare GL), lcally assciated with quartz veins. Mineralizatin is hsted within sheared and sericitized felsic vlcanic-tuff sequences (Lac Elmer A21, Cpper, Silver, Zinc, Lac Mitaine and West Znes). 2- Stratabund disseminated sulphides PY-PO±ASPY, lcally assciated with quartz-turmaline veins and/r fuchsite alteratin, hsted in cherty tuff hrizns (Lidge, Lucille and Grid A-16). 3- Quartz ± ankerite-turmaline veins r stckwrk with 1-5% PY± CPY-SP hsted in gabbr intrusins r in felsic vlcanics (Gld, Gabbr, Patwn, Barrick and East Znes). 4- Prphyry-type Au-Ag-Cu mineralizatin cnsisting f disseminated sulphides up t 15-30% PY- CPY assciated with quartz ±carbnate veins, stckwrks, fracture-filling and/r shear znes. Mineralizatin is hsted within the Kali Quartz Prphyry and felsic vlcanics, at r near the cntact between the tw units (Kali shwings). 5- Shear znes related t the Opinaca fault. Mineralizatin is cmpsed f disseminated and stringer sulphides up t 15% PY ± traces CPY hsted within strngly sheared and sericitized felsic vlcanic-tuff sequences (Opinaca shwing). The Lac Elmer Prperty (Eastmain Resurces-Barrick JV) is lcated adjacent t the nrtheast f the K2 prperty. The gld and plymetallic Ag-Cu-Zn ccurrences are mainly hsted within a 12km lng ENE-WSW trending rhylitic-dacitic vlcanic-tuff sequence, intruded by the Elmer synvlcanic quartz-feldspar prphyry (Figure 9). The A21 Zne is hsted within the Lac Elmer Hrizn cnsisting f a sheared and sericitized rhylite sequence with garnet-bitite-chlriteandalusite alteratin, abut 1.8km lng and up t 600m wide (GM 68280). Extensive drilling f the A21 Zne returned up t 0.5 g/t Au and 45.0 g/t Ag ver 30m in DDH Lithgechemistry indicates that the intense sericitic alteratin is assciated with a sdium depletin (-1%) and a ptassium enrichment (+3%). Mineralizatin is cmpsed f 1-10% disseminated and stringer/veinlet sulphides cnsisting f pyrite +/- chalcpyrite-sphalerite. The 12

DIOSEXPI-OR1TIOV 2016X1 GEOLOGIC/IL REPORT sulphide veinlets are flded and discrdant t the stratigraphy, suggesting a pre-defrmatin mineralizing event and prbably synvlcanic (Bernier & Cnstantin, 1997). The A21 Zne is utlined by mderate t strng I.P chargeability anmalies assciated with a magnetic lw. Ging suthward, the Lac Elmer Hrizn is verlain by sericite-bitite altered intermediate vlcanic rcks cntaining disseminatins and veinlets f sphalerite. Next in the stratigraphic pile, felsic vlcanics are ften intruded by what appear t be carbnate-altered gabbric sills cntaining quartz-ankerite veins lcally enriched in gld. The gelgical envirnment f the Lac Elmer area is similar t the multi-millin unce Busquet gld mining camp, with the dminance f calc-alkaline felsic vlcanics intruded by felsic synvlcanic intrusins, the presence f several mineralized znes cmpsed f vlcangenic sulphides (PY-PO±CPY-SP-GL) with Au/Ag rati <1, extensive sericitic alteratin znes and lcal aluminsilicates-bearing felsic vlcanic rcks (Bernier & Cnstantin, 1997). Gauthier & Larcque (1998) interpreted the Lac Elmer Zne as a neutral epithermal system assciated with a prphyry intrusin (MB 98-10). The underlying Elmer quartz-feldspar prphyry is prbably the surce f the hydrthermal fluids fr the plymetallic Au-Ag-Cu-Zn-Pb mineralizatin (ET ). A metal (Cu/Zn) znatin is strngly evident, with the predminance f cpper mineralizatin (Cpper Zne) clse t the synvlcanic intrusin and mre distal Ag-Zn-Pb mineralizatin in the verlying rhylitic vlcanic-tuff sequences. Mineralizatin is assciated with alteratin znes typical f prphyric systems: ptassic, phyllic, prpylitic and aluminus. The aluminus garnet-staurtide-andalusite assemblage and extensive sericite-bitite-pyrite alteratin znes are cmmnly bserved. Finally, the Lac Elmer mineralizatin was apparently rembilized in ENE-WSW defrmatin crridrs during the reginal metamrphism. 13

DIOS EXPLORATION 2016 K2 GEOLOGICAL REPORT 4.3 K2 Prperty Gelgy The K2 prperty straddles the sutheastern cntact f the synvlcanic Kali Quartz Prphyry with felsic vlcanics and vlcaniclastics. Several gld-cpper-silver ccurrences (up t 2.6 g/t Au, 8.28% Cu & 34 g/t Ag) are lcated at r near this highly prspective cntact, cincident with a distinct magnetic high anmaly cut by WSW and ENE riented structures (Figure 10). Frm nrth t suth, the prperty cvers the Kali Quartz Prphyry verlain by a km thick calc-alkaline felsic sequence cmpsed f dacitic t rhylitic flws and tuffs. The felsic vlcanics alng the margin f the Kali intrusin are mainly cmpsed f dacitic flws with mm quartz phencrysts. They are cmmnly injected by fine-medium grained subvlcanic felsic QP/QFP dykes. Ging suthward, the felsic pile predminantly cnsists f yunger lapillis and blcks tuffs, crystal tuffs and grey ash tuffs, cntaining felsic and lesser mafic clasts within a felsicintermediate matrix (GM 37994, GM 45720, RG ). The suthern limit f the K2 prperty is marked by the NE-SW trending Opinaca fault. The vlcanic sequences are generally riented ENE-WSW, steeply dipping t the nrth and are stacked twards suth (GM 55790). The underlying Quartz Prphyry is part f the Kali tnaliticgrandiritic plutn. The Kali plutn is lcated within a mderate t lw magnetic dmain n the aermagnetic maps, flanked by a well-defined (3.0x 1.0km) crescent-shaped magnetic high t the suth (GM 45720, GM 63258). This distinct magnetic anmaly might be interpreted as a magnetite-altered zne (cntact aurele), cincident with the mre prus vlcaniclastic sequence directly in cntact with the Quartz Prphyry (Figure 11). It is cut by the WSW riented Kali Lake fault, that is spatially assciated with several Au-Cu-Ag ccurrences. The presence f magnetite and/r hematite (expressed by magnetic susceptibility) culd indicate favrable xygen fugacity assciated with the felsic magma (Beakhuse, 2007). In that case, the Kali Plutn culd have prvided the xidized magmatic-hydrthermal fluids. The K2 prperty was subjected t an intense magmatic activity. The Kali plutn can be divided in tw main intrusive phases. The synvlcanic Kali Quartz Prphyry cnsists f a prphyritic tnalite-quartz dirite extending ver 3.0x 1.0km alng the cntact with the felsic vlcanics. It is cmpsed f 15-25% grey-bluish (0.5-2cm) quartz phencrysts in a medium-grained white-grey 20

.0IOSFYPLORf1TION 2016Ir2 GL'OLOGICf1L RLPORT matrix f plagiclase (65-75%) and bitite (5-10%). Several felsic QP sills, dykes and apphysis are interdigitated with rhylitic flws and tuffs at the vlcanic/intrusive cntact. The remaining f the Kali plutn (8 x 2-4km) cnsists f a massive equigranular tnalitegrandirite cntaining several small quartz prphyry units. The texture f the Kali intrusin is gradually varying frm prphyritic t mre equigranular, as we mve further away frm the Quartz Prphyry. Istpic dating n a single sample frm the Kali plutn has given varius ages between 2701 ±10 My and 2744 ±5 My. The gechemistry f the Kali and Elmer plutns indicates a calc-alkaline vlcanic-arc envirnment and lightly peraluminus type-i intrusins (RG ). Finally, late syn-t tardi-tectnic mafic intrusins crss-cut bth the Kali plutn and felsic vlcanics. A dyke swarm, cnsisting f ENE and WSW riented metric (few cm up t 15m wide) mafic-gabbric dykes, is injected within a cnjugate fracture system particularly well-develped within the Kali Quartz Prphyry. The dykes are sub-parallel t the structures and shear znes bserved acrss the prperty, and are lcally sheared and chlritized. They are generally finet medium-grained and cmpsed f variable amunts f grey plagiclase (smetimes prphyritic), hrnblende, pyrxene, bitite, and traces-1% pyrite and magnetite. A gabbr intrusin (4.0 x 0.5 km) is als present at the nrtheastern limit f the prperty. 21

DIOS EXPLORATION 2016 K2 GEOLOGICAL REPORT 5. HISTORY Gelgical recnnaissance wrk was initially carried ut in the Lwer Eastmain area by the Gelgical Survey f Canada: Lw A.P (1895), Shaw G. (1941) and Heywd W.W. (1958). In 1965, Eade cnducted reginal mapping at a 1: scale ver the James Bay territry. The prperty was cvered by a tw-mile spaced reginal lake bttm sediment gechemical survey perfrmed by the SDBJ in 1974 (GM 34044, GM & GM 34047). Gelgical mapping was cmpleted in the Lac Elmer area in by the MRNQ at a 1: scale (Francni A., 1978, DPV 574) and later at a 1: scale (Mukhsil A. et al., 2001 & 2003, RG & ET ). A study n the gelgical setting, style and distributin f the metallic mineralizatin f the Lwer Eastmain vlcan-sedimentary belt (Gauthier M. & Larcque M., 1998, MB 98-10) interpreted the Kali shwings as a prphyry-related Au-Cu mineralizatin. In 2009, an assessment f the mineral ptential fr prphyry Cu-Au ±M depsits in the James Bay regin (Lamthe D., 2009, EP ) utlined the Lac Elmer and Kali areas (Figure x). In , a reginal airbrne magnetic survey flwn at a line spacing f 250m was cmpleted by the MRNQ (DP ). Mineralizatin cnsists f traces-5% pyritechalcpyrite assciated with weak t mderate silica ± sericite-bitite-chlrite-carbnate alteratin (Figures 21-23). Lcal zinc anmalies ( % Zn) assciated with silver are als present in felsic vlcanics. Gld-cpper-silver ccurrences are cncentrated at r near the cntact between the Kali Quartz Prphyry and the felsic vlcanic-tuff sequence. They are spatially assciated with WNW and ENE riented structures, and ccur mre particularly at their intersectin. The magnetic high anmaly and the evidences f hydrthermal activity suggest that the structurally cntrlled gld mineralizatin culd be related t a magmatic-hydrthermal system characterized by xidized fluids. This distinct magnetic anmaly might be interpreted as a magnetite-altered zne (cntact aurele), cincident with the mre prus vlcaniclastic sequence directly in cntact with the Quartz Prphyry. 45

DIOS EXPLORATION 2016 K2 GEOLOGICAL REPORT 9. STRUCTURAL GEOLOGY Gld mineralizatin is mainly hsted within silicified fractures, narrw quartz-carbnates veins and shear znes assciated with a well-develped WNW-NW (N125-N160) and ENE (N070) structure system, interpreted by Dis gelgists as ptential pathways fr hydrthermal fluids and magma ascent. The WNW riented Kali Lake fault represents a ptential gld-bearing structural crridr extending ver 4km. The (N ) mineralized fractures and quartzcarbnates veins bserved in the Kali Lake shwing area crss-cut the lithlgies, suggesting that mineralizatin culd be late-vlcanic t syntectnic. The Kali Lake fault als crss-cuts the magnetic high anmaly as well as the Quartz Prphyry/felsic vlcanics cntact, thus cnfirming the nature and relative age f the structurally-cntrlled gld mineralizatin. At the prperty scale, mineralizatin is apparently cncentrated at the intersectin between the WNW and ENE structures. The main schistsity assciated with the reginal defrmatin is riented N060 t N110, steeply dipping (75-90 ) t the nrth and is sub-parallel t the vlcanic sequences layering. Three fracture systems (N ), (N350-N010) & (N75-110) are lcally silicified and mineralized. Finally, the Opinaca fault is a reginal ENE-NE trending nrth-dipping shear zne fllwed ver 9km alng the Opinaca River. It marks the faulted cntact between felsic vlcanics-tuffs t the nrth and mafic vlcanics f the Km-Kasak Fm t the suth. Gld mineralizatin assciated with quartz veins ccurs within sheared and strngly sericitized felsic vlcanics. Tensin veins and C/S fabrics bserved in the shear zne suggest a dextral mvement. 49

DIOSFNPLOXATION 2016 K2 GEOLOGIC/IL POIT 10. EXPLORATION MODEL The gelgical envirnment f the K2 prperty suggests a structurally-cntrlled xidized (IRG) intrusin-related gld system. In Archean gelgical cntext, such gld systems are generally assciated with small high-level stck with calc-alkaline (t alkaline) vlcanism and breccia frmatin. They are typically in island arc envirnment assciated with relatively xidized but S- pr calc-alkaline (t middling alkaline) magmatism. Archean Au (-Cu) "prphyry" and related magmatic hydrthermal (MH) depsits are relatively prly defined in the literature. Archean magmatic hydrthermal-type (MH) depsits are assciated with large gechemical enrichments in Fe, but mainly as Fe xides (+/- Fe silicates, Fe carbnates) with relatively minr Fe sulfides; they cntain ecnmically imprtant enrichments in Au and/r Cu (Richards and Mumin 2013). Magmatic-hydrthermal envirnment includes structures in the brittle rcks verlying bathlitic system that fcus magma ascent and fluid flw int narrw apex regins r cuplas (Tsdal and Richards 2001, Richards 2011). Shallw crustal magma emplacement may cause dming in the cver rcks, with dilatatinal fault znes prviding high-permeability pathways fr fluids and magma ascent. Cylindrical shapes f many prphyry stcks may have arisen first as breccia pipes r diatremes bred ut by rapidly escaping vlatiles, nly later t be back-filled with prphyritic magma (stcks and dykes). Such high-permeability pathways are likely t have thermally weakened the wall-rcks and prmte further fracturing and channeling fr metals. If the metalbearing fluids were derived frm deep-seated rcks in the crust r mantle, the prphyries and the structural pathways thrugh their magmatic precursrs migrated t the near surface may have served simply t fcus fluid flw t the mineralizatin site. 50

IDIOSEXPLOR,QTIOV 201 1(.2 GEOLOGICf1L REPORT 11. PROPERTY HIGHLIGHTS The prperty entirely cvers the highly prspective cntact between the synvlcanic Kali Quartz Prphyry and a km thick calc-alkaline felsic vlcanic-tuff sequence. Dis cmpilatin and 2014 explratin wrk highlighted several gelgical features favurable fr structurallycntrlled xidized Intrusin Related Gld (IRG) depsits, including the presence f a heat zne, magmatic-hydrthermal activity, prus lithlgies and mineralized structures. - Histrical and Dis 2014 utcrp sampling yielded numerus gld values between 0.1 and 5.39 g/t Au (78 samples ut f 351 r 22% > 0.1 g/t Au; including 21 > 0.5 g/t Au), silver values up t g/t Ag (121 samples ut f 205 r 59% > 1.0 g/t Ag, including 53 > 5.0 g/t Ag), and cpper values up t 8.28% Cu (75 samples ut f 205 r 37% > 0.1% Cu, including 27 > 1.0% Cu). Gldcpper-silver ccurrences (up t 2.6 g/t Au, 40 g/t Ag & 8.28% Cu) are hsted bth in the Quartz Prphyry and felsic vlcanic sequence, at r near the cntact between the tw units. - Higher Au-Ag-Cu ± Bi-Zn cncentratins mainly ccur within silicified fractures, narrw quartzcarbnates veins and shear znes assciated with WNW (N ) and ENE (N070) riented km-scale structures, and mre particularly at their intersectin. Mineralizatin is cmpsed f traces-5% pyrite-chalcpyrite assciated with weak t mderate silica ± sericite-bitite-chlritecarbnate alteratin. - Late WNW and ENE structures culd have prvided pathways fr the migratin f magmatichydrthermal fluids and cncentrated gld mineralizatin. The WNW trending Kali Lake fault represents a ptential gld-bearing structural crridr extending ver 4km (Figure 25). Mineralized fractures and quartz-carbnates veins bserved in the Kali Lake shwing area are mainly riented N and crss-cut all the lithlgies, suggesting that mineralizatin culd be late-vlcanic t syntectnic. The late Kali Lake fault may have simply rembilized deepseated mineralizatin assciated with the magnetic anmaly. - The Kali Quartz Prphyry cnsists f a prphyritic tnalite-quartz dirite intrusin, lcally mineralized and magnetic (xidized). It is similar in size and cmpsitin t ther knwn intrusins assciated with Archean IRG «prphyry» gld systems. 51

I~IO.~SEXPLOR/4TION 2016 A2 GEOLOGICIL REPORT - Several disseminated pyrite ±chalcpyrite znes ccur alng WNW and ENE structures. They are assciated with a distinct (3.0x 1.0km) magnetic high anmaly lcated in the mre prus vlcaniclastic sequence that might be interpreted as a large magnetite-sulphides envelpe centered n the Kali Quartz Prphyry. The presence f magnetite culd indicate a change in the xygen fugacity and/r ph f the fluid that may have triggered metal precipitatin. - The K2 prperty is lcated 3 km nrth f the cntact between the Opinaca (Nemiscau) and La Grande gelgical sub-prvinces, within a greenschist metamrphic dmain. The steep metamrphic frnt at the cntact between these sub-prvinces and the distributin f gld ccurrences in James Bay shw a gd spatial crrelatin (Lapinte 2008 & Gauthier 2007). - In the Lwer Eastmain Greenstne Belt, Michel Gauthier (MB 98-10) and Mukhsil & al. (ET ) bserved that a grup f prphyry r magmatic-related Au-Ag-Cu ±M mineralizatin, including Lac Elmer, Kali (K2 prperty), Reservir and Clearwater, shares the fllwing characteristics: spatial assciatin with prphyritic stcks r dykes, particular alteratin with bitite and actinlite, and gld-cpper crrelatin. - The Quebec gvernment ptential map fr James Bay Cu-Au ±M prphyry utlined the Lac Elmer and Kali (K2 prperty) area as ne f the five (with Trilus, Lac Yasinski, LG3 & Lac Guyer) mst prspective areas fr new discveries (Figure 24; Lamthe D & 2009). 59 DIOS EXPLORATION 2016 K2 GEOLOGICAL REPORT 12. CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS Histrical explratin wrk in the Kali Lake area uncvered several gld-cpper-silver ccurrences assciated with an Archean magmatic-hydrthermal system related t the Kali Quartz Prphyry. In 2014, a ne-day recnnaissance mapping and prspecting prgram carried ut by Dis Explratin quickly cnfirmed the gld ptential f the K2 prperty with the discvery f tw new gld shwings (5.39 g/t Au, 111 g/t Ag, 5.05 % Cu, 93 ppm Bi & 3.39 g/t Au). Gld-bearing quartz-carbnates veins, shear znes and fracture systems are assciated with extensive WNW-NW and ENE riented structures, interpreted as favrable pathways fr magmatic-hydrthermal fluids. Therefre, an explratin mdel fr structurally-cntrlled xidized intrusin-related gld (IRG) depsits is prpsed fr the K2 prject. Previus explratin prgrams by SDBJ, Westmin and Barrick mstly targeted typical rgenic gld and vlcangenic massive sulphides depsits. Mre discrete disseminated mineralizatin was apparently neglected. The Kali Lake shwings still remain untested by channel sampling and drilling. Future explratin wrk shuld fcus n the WNW trending Kali Lake fault and the magnetic high anmaly assciated with the cntact between the synvlcanic Kali Quartz Prphyry and felsic vlcanic-tuff sequence. Systematic utcrp mapping and sampling f the felsic intrusive and vlcaniclastic rcks is recmmended. Effrts shuld be cncentrated n areas with a high density f WNW-NW mineralized fractures. The intersectin between WNW and ENE structures represent prime structural targets. Detailed gelgical and structural mapping shuld als be dne n the main Kali Lake shwings. Finally, a ne-day gelgical mapping and prspecting prgram is recmmended n the felsic intrusin intersected by the Opinaca fault, lcated in the nrtheastern part f Dis adjacent Sl prperty. Depending n the results, manual stripping and channel sampling culd be cnducted n the mre prmising mineralized znes. Grund gephysical (Magnetic, Induced Plarizatin) surveys s shuld als be cnsidered
