She is the in the Staff Senate Spotlight for February. CeCe has been with OUHSC for 27 years. She states that the Staff Senate keeps her up-to-date on information surrounding the campus and what is planned for the future. She feels that the Staff Senate needs more volunteers. With more people we can expand our horizons, she states. Employee of the Month presented by Tisha Payne, Co-Chair Adrienne Blalack is the February 2011 Employee of the Month. She is a Sponsored Programs Administrator II for the Office of Research Administration. Her reception is to be held Tuesday, February 22 nd at 3:00 p.m. in the Provost s Conference Room, Robert M. Bird Library. Everyone is welcome to attend. IV. Whitney has been with OUHSC since November She is on her second term as the Staff Senate Secretary. She would like to see the Staff Senate continue to grown. She would also like to see new faces and for staff members to always feel welcome. Committee Reports presented by Kelli Hayward, Chair-Elect There are committee openings and Senate Vacancies. Due to the Christmas Tree Lighting and Reception, all committee reports were printed and given to the Senators. V. Unfinished Business None VI. VII. New Business a. All were in favor to not have the January 2011 meeting. Announcements: Cheryl Williams announced she would be leaving OUHSC. She has been given the opportunity to take her dream job. Her last day on campus will be January 7, She will be greatly missed. Adjournment - A motion was made to adjourn with those seconding the motion standing. Motion passed and meeting adjourned at 10:10 a.m. Next meeting will be Thursday, February 3, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. in the Bird Library Auditorium.
