3 Spectrometer Survey Roberts-Creelman Property 1. SURVEY DETAILS 1.1 PROJECT NAME This project is known as the Creelman-Roberts Property. 1. CLIENT International Kirkland Minerals Inc. 71 West Georgia Street Suite 1 Vancouver, British Columbia 1. LOCATION The Creelman-Roberts Uranium Property is located approximately km northwest of Capreol, Ontario in Creelman and Roberts Townships, within the Sudbury Mining Division. 4 Spectrometer Survey Roberts-Creelman Property Figure : Claim Map with Creelman-Roberts Traverse 1.4 ACCESS Access to the property was attained with a 4x4 truck via an access road heading north along highway 84 until the end, and continuing on regional road 8 for an additional 1 to 18km. Most of the traverse areas either crossed the road or were easily access from the road. 1. SURVEY GRID The traversed areas covered a portion of various airborne radiometric anomalies. The traversed lines were established using a GPS. The GPS operator traversed with the Spectrometer operator. When the spectrometer reacted to an elevated presence of uranium or thorium a GPS waypoint was taken along with a physical rock sample. October 8 4

6 Spectrometer Survey Roberts-Creelman Property. PERSONNEL Multiple spectrometer units were employed over the duration of the survey. The personnel included: - Fred Kiernicki of Kirkland Lake, Ontario - Shane Buckland of Haileybury, Ontario - Barry Allen of Kirkland Lake, Onario - Amanda Rungis of Timmins, Ontario - Stephanie Friedrich of Waterloo, Ontario - Frank Beaton of Birmingham, Alabama - Marty Harrington of Kirkland Lake, Ontario. SURVEY SPECIFICATIONS The survey was conducted with a Radiation Solutions RS- BGO SUPER-SPEC spectrometer. The operator traversed the outlined block until the unit detected a cps above background. Once this was detected a GPS waypoint was taken with a corresponding Spectrometer assay for K%, U ppm and Th ppm. Stacked assays were taken for a period of seconds and a total of 4 assays were taken. At this point a rock sample was taken from the outcrop and sent for assay. October 8

OVERVIEW OF SURVEY RESULTS.1 SUMMARY INTERPRETATION South Grid From the.1 kilometers traversed only 11 positive responses were identified within the south grid region making it nearly impossible to interpret. The strongest values were obtained on the southern extent of the survey region. This region exhibits two elevated uranium readings from these one has a corresponding high thorium reading. Central Grid From the 19. kilometers traversed only positive responses were identified within the central grid region. The central grid indicates the presence of what appears to be an east-west elevated uranium source through the northern region of this survey area. This may indicate a source such as a dike or the exposed edge to a dipping bedding horizon within this region. South of this appear a thorium and potassium anomaly. East Grid From the 19. kilometers traversed only 4 positive responses were identified within the east grid region. The strongest anomaly was obtained from the central region of this traverse area and resulted in an elevated uranium and thorium reading with an associated weakened potassium reading. This area should be investigated more closely for mineralization or the source of the anomalous survey results. The southeast portion of this traverse area exhibits a similar anomaly. This site exhibits a strong thorium response with a slightly weaker uranium signature. This area should be investigated more closely for mineralization or the source of the anomalous survey results. North Grid From the 89.1 kilometers traversed 1 positive responses were identified within the north grid region. There are two areas of note where an elevated region of uranium has measured, the stronger of the two being in the southern region of the traverse area. This region is comprised of what appears to be three east-west linear bands of elevated uranium readings. These bands do not exhibit any correlating anomalies with thorium and potassium with exception to the northernmost point, which has a correlated Thorium reading (sample location ). This may indicate an east-west trending dike swarm or alteration system. This may also indicate a series of folds within a single geologic unit. This area should be investigated more closely for mineralization or the source of the anomalous survey results. The northern anomaly exhibits a similar signature with no correlating thorium or potassium anomalies. Again this appears as a series of east-west linear features and may also be the result of a dike swarm, alteration system or folding. October 8 7

9 Spectrometer Survey Roberts-Creelman Property APPENDIX B THEORETICAL BASIS AND SURVEY PROCEDURES Gamma-Ray Spectrometry (GRS) provides a direct measurement of the surface of the earth, with no significant depth of penetration. This at-surface characteristic allows us to reliably relate the measured radioelement contrasts to mapped bedrock, surficial geology, and any alterations associated with mineral deposits. All rocks and materials derived from them are radioactive and they contain detectable amounts of a variety of radioactive elements. A gamma-ray spectrometer is designed to detect the gamma rays associated with these radioactive elements, and sorts them by their respective energies. It is this sorting ability that distinguishes the spectrometer from instruments that measure only total radioactivity. Why do we need to know about K, U, Th? Potassium (K), uranium (U) and thorium (Th) are the three most abundant, naturally occurring radioactive elements. K is a major constituent of most rocks and is the predominant alteration element in most mineral deposits. Uranium and thorium are present in trace amounts, as mobile and immobile elements, respectively. As the concentrations of these different radio elements vary between different rock types, we can use the information provided by a gamma-ray spectrometer to map the rocks. Where the 'normal' radioelement signature of the rocks is disrupted by a mineralizing system, corresponding radioelement anomalies provide direct exploration guidance. Ground surveys do not require a corresponding airborne survey. They are easily conducted by one person as a reconnaissance survey or more formally using a series of grid lines. The resulting geochemical information provides an important additional layer of information significantly improving bedrock and surficial mapping and ore vectoring. The Gamma-ray Energy Spectrum The primary acquisition data set is a multichannel gamma-ray energy spectrum. The area from to.4 MeV is not used and consists of counts created by Compton scattering. For geological mapping, the K 4 (potassium), Bi 14 (uranium) & Tl 8 (thorium) peaks are of interest. During the aerial survey, the full spectrum of counts is recorded once per second, using a -channel histogram. During postflight data processing, the counts for the radioelements of interest (K 4, Bi 14, Tl 8 ) are accumulated. The summation includes the counts for a range of energies (a 'window' or 'region of interest') centered on each peak. The accumulated count rates are then converted to equivalent ground concentrations of potassium, uranium & thorium using a set of calibration constants that are a characteristic of each spectrometer system.
