3 NTRODUCTON A, Geoarawhic and Phvsioarawhic Position The Saturn 2 claim is located approximately thirty miles North of Terrace,B,C.NTS lo31/16w andtwo and one half miles from Dorreen,This claim stradles Dorreen Mt, /, \ B, Property Defined and Owner The Saturn 2 claim consists of 20 units,on this claim,but not part of it are 7 mining leases on the North end namely L6321-L3626-L L6324-L6328 and part of L6327, These leases are owned by W-Jensen af Terrace B.C. The owner of Saturn 2 is L,LeBlond,Box 1097, Terrace,B.C. C, Summary of Work Done and Date Carried Out A Base Line was laid out using corapass,altimeter and hip chain. The starting point was beside a creekon South boundry of claim in an open clearing at Elevation 988m ASL and headed N7*E to 1200 metres Morth.Due to snow conditions at the time \ a grid was laid out from 700 metres to 128@ metres, at 50 metres intervals and atraght angles to the Base Line,East and West lines marked at 5 metre intervals for 250metres either side of Base Line, The work was performed between June 5a 1985 to July 13* 1985, D, ns trumen t Used.. ' \ Was a McPhar M700 Fluxgate Magnetometer Serial ',i J? #7115,reading to 5 gammas.

4 MAGNETOMETER SURVEY The Main Base Station (M B S) was set up and the magnetometer set to zero and rechecked for a one hour period,the survey commenced by segments, A segment consisted of 8+00N/0+00 to 2+50E crossover to 2+50E on line 8+50N and down to 0+00 and check in to M B S.before and after. These results were corrected for Base Shift and Drift where required and plotted on Map # 3 with other pertinent information, the main obvious structure being a Drop Offof 30 metres almost vertical and heading at approx N25W, these being unaltered sediments, otherwise the grid area is steeply sloping to the West and covered with overburden with a primary growth of carboniferous trees,all readings were taken facing East. RESULTS The results were then contoured at 100 gamma intervals commencing at 200 gammas, All readings over 300 gammas considered anomolous for this survey, All negative readings are contoured together with no comment on these Lows at this time, The main anomoly is a linear dyke running from 8+50N/0+75E to 11+50N/1+25W, Also and maybe part of it on the South end an offset (fault?) a further 50 metres,more information is required on this section of the grid, Most readings on and East of the Drop Off are relatively Low, average being gamma range and most proberly consist -of the Bowser sediments, Most readings West of the main anoaoly are relative ly High- average gamma range and considered but not proven to be granodiorite. The linear anomoly appears to be on the contact,

5 Go RESEARCH- COMPARSON OF MAGNETC AND SP READNGS ON ANOMOLY n an effort to gain more information on the magnetic anomoly and as t ime was short,line 8+50N/ 0+00 to 0+80E w as chosen for experimentation, First the magnetometer was run from 0+00 to 0+80E and immeadiately after, using a Self Potenti a1 unit the same ground was covered. The results are laid out as a profile of the anomoly on Fig 1.t should be noted that the soil 1 i was mainly 1 woody and dry, giving poor contact, Readings İ were obtained and no corrections made before i plotting them on Fig 1. 7 HSTORCAL PERSPECTVE The Saturn 2 Claim was staked and recorded by L.LeBlond of Box 1097, Terrace, B.C.in July 18,1983. The claim was registered at ~mithers,b.~. Vitae: Three Federal Goverment prospecting coures in North West Territories; 22 years (Summers) prospecting experience in North West Territories and British Columbia consisting of; staking of claims,approximately 2000; preparation of claims for sale with partner; mining of gold from small deposit in North West Territories; 1 P blasting; diamond drilling; milling; placer mining; b diving for gold; succesfully completed the 1984, / [ Mineral Exploration Course for Prospectors in B.C. r"!
