If performance improves over the next period, the project is still likely to achieve its objectives. Many of the project s institutional development, capacity building, irrigated agriculture and basin water resources services activities, technical assistance and small works are now underway, though this progress is not yet reflected in the outcome Page 1 of 5

In addition, the project is ready to begin its first civil works aimed at improving the irrigation infrastructure in a national system following participatory approach in targeted areas.
