2 FROM THE EDITOR With this being out first publication after winter break and graduation approaching, I expected to return to apathetic and lethargic seniors. To my surprise, each student had a pretty easy time falling back into our usual routine in MMJII. I was also very surprised when every student knew exactly what he or she wanted to write about for this publication and for our televised broadcast. It?s fantastic to see students merging their passions together and starting to write about topics that they are truly passionate about. I loved the expression on Jesse?s face when I asked about a topic for this month, and he immediately yelled,?i want to write about cloning! Someone did it in China, and it was really cool!? I asked him why he wanted to write about this, and he replied that Teri Lescher inspired him in science. Thank you for all that you do for our students! I love knowing that our students will surely find inspiration anywhere. It is truly heartwarming to see a student bringing personal interests into MMJ.?Doubt kills more dreams than failure ever will.? - Suzy Kassem - Mrs. Amber Veronese, MMJII Teacher
