23 HEALTH. G L O R I NE M A R T I N 1. Health C entre was built an the west side of the township here at Yu endumu 2. The hospital is a m a i n place w h e r e you can take people w h e n they are ve ry si ck o r have road accident somewhere else. 3. When the p eople are v e r y v e r y sick the sister calls on the radio for the Royal Flyi ng Doctor Service 4. The Health C e n t r e also has a n e w a m b u l a n c e here. It also takes people at n ight time when they are v e r y sick. 5. At the H e a l t h Centre there are three E u r o p e a n s, two ladies and a man. 6. And there are also ten A b o r i g i n a l h e a l t h workers, two m e n and eight ladies. The o ther four ladies w o r k for the o u t s t a t i o n s as t r a i n i n g nurses. 7. A n d every m o n t h they go in to do more training at the Alice Springs H e a l t h T r a i n i n g Centre. They go in by H e a l t h T o y o t a or on a plane in the morning. 8 A n d w h e n the babies are sick they have to be w e i g h e d apd g i v e n m e d i c i n e 9. And the Health worke rs c o m e to the school to check the children' s ears to see if they have good or bad ears 10.
