3 . 3 Introduction The Deneau Creek mineral property, tenure # , a three cell claim comprising hectares, was staked on March 16, 2008 and is one of several properties staked along the Coquihalla River Valley by its owner, subject to information received from a reliable source, that an exposed platinum vein had been discovered in the river s bedrock, of the lower Coquihalla River. In that the general area is commonly known for its gold occurrences, by example, the deposits of the past producing Carolin Mine, Pacific Mine, the Emancipation Mine, and others, there also exists good opportunity other gold-bearing occurrences could be discovered. The geology of the region, more commonly known as the Coquihalla Gold Belt, is greatly influenced by the gold-bearing Hozameen Fault structure, with the lower Coquihalla Valley hosting several northwest trending contact zones and other subordinate fracturing, which crosscuts the river. Elevations over the claim range from 250 metres at river level to 550 metres above sea level at the northwest corner of the property, and rising to 580 metres at the southeastern corner. The underlying bedrock geology of the tenure area, is stated to be of undivided sedimentary rock types. Location & Access Located 11 kilometres northeast of Hope, BC, along BC Highway #5, the tenure is centrally situate on coordinate W Longitude, N Latitude. Two of the claim s cells fundamentally straddles the Coquihalla River. Highway #5 offers excellent access to those areas on the west side of the river, whereas a gravel roadway originating from the Othello Turnoff (Exit #183) offers good access to those portions of the claim on the east side of the river. Though bearing many potholes, said gravel road is passable for 2WD vehicles. In the spring to fall months, many vacationers and ATV enthusiasts enjoy the multitude of rough camping sites the areas affords. Summary & Conclusion This report deals with four different work dates, four different locations, and six different individuals, four of whom were guests which were permitted to conduct gold panning activities on the tenure, on the basis they provide crucial information as to exacting locations worked and the amount of gold recovered. The objective behind incorporating the assistance of recreational panning enthusiasts was for more readily identifying locations which bear a heavier presence of loose gold, thus, hopefully, aiding in the process of tracing those occurrences back to their parent origin. On July 24, 2010, the claim owner plus the author visited the property on the west (highway) side of the Coquihalla River, as indicated on Map 2, hereto attached, primarily to examine a flood zone area along the valley floor, and, to conduct sampling of river-bank gravels which lie immediately downstream from a fracture/contact intersect, which presents both exposed outcrop bedding along that sector of the river, and, the mergence of Deneau Creek. The objective - to examine for the presence of freed gold and/or platinum which might be factored in for tracing back to their parent origin. The use of a Gold Spear was incorporated in examining along a north/south traverse along the sandy flood-zone spill area, and panning was employed for both flood-zone materials and riverbank gravels. In total, approximately one cubic metre of material was screened then panned, resulting in 2.01 grams of fine to flake gold, while also capturing three fine particles of what appeared to be platinum (later affirmed under microscope).
4 . 4 Summary & Conclusion continued. On September 1, 2010, a guest recreational panner visited the corresponding property area as also illustrated on Map 2, hereto attached. Work was performed in sampling gravel buildup areas around larger boulders lining the east riverbank of the river. In report, approximately ½ cubic metre of material was worked, resulting in a recovery of 11 grains of gold, all of which was fine gold with exception to one flattened, well-rounded, small picker, of approximately 2mm in breadth. On September 4, 2010, a more senior couple, as guests, were extended opportunity to pan on the west side of the Coquihalla River, along the corresponding traverse area as also illustrated on Map 2, hereto attached. In report, approximately 1/5 cubic metre of sands and gravel were panned, resulting in a small quantity (32 varying sized particles estimated at approximately 4 grains) of flake gold being recovered. On September 10, 2010, a further guest was permitted panning privileges on the east side of the Coquihalla River, immediately opposite the site noted in the preceding entry, the exact location of which is also illustrated on Map 2. Slightly better than ½ cubic metre of gravels and bank soils were processed, resulting in the reported recovery of approximately 9 grains of gold. It was noted by said guest, that many of the particles appeared to bear rugged edges, indicating the gold to have not traveled too far from its source. Though not with any level of certainty, it is premised Deneau Creek may have been the source of this gold. In summation, the tenure was renewed for a subsequent term to facilitate further tracing with the objective of identifying one or more underlying hardrock deposits. In that there may well be several auferious bedrock crossings on the property, permitting guests to conduct gold panning activities on held tenures, also lies within serious consideration, so as to more hastily trace precious metals back to their origins.
